Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Arnold

Having apparently forgotten to press the 'Confirm' button when making an online reservation at the Arnold, Mo. Pear Tree Inn, the lobby staff was - understandably- unable to find my room request. No problem at all. The extremely friendly staff set me up with a double queen room at the same price as I found online. The room was great and the location right off the interstate was perfect. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to St. Louis.

When we came to this hotel, we were immediately welcomed by a man named Peter, who was so excited to see our golden retriever coming into the door later that night I had small ponytail rubber bands in my hair, and we went down to ask for scissors because I did not want to pull out my hair It was very late around midnight and the women working the front desk. Her name was Cindy offered to cut the ponytails out of my hair herself rather than just give me the scissors. Everyone has been so sweet and so kind and I really recommend staying here.

Highly recommend! Needed a quick place to stay on a road trip. After a stressful day on the road, Sheryl checked us in and was fabulous! She told us about the hotel happy hour and we were served wine and beer. They even had snacks! What a welcome after the day we had! The rooms were very clean and very comfortable! Thank you Sheryl!

I needed sleep badly. The service was great! They let me eat breakfast while I waited to check into my room. They had healthy food choices as well as some goodies. I went right to sleep. There were no slamming doors and it was quiet.. Thanks guys and gals.

My brother was traveling through recently on his way home so I recommended this hotel because they are pet friendly. He always travels with his cat. The staff went out of their way to please even letting him book in early and have his cat in the room. He told me it was the best place he's stayed in a long time. Many thanks!

All in all an excellent stay from staff, to rooms, to service and facilities offered.
The location of the hotel is excellent, right by the freeway with direct route into St Louis within 20 mins. There are also copious amounts of shops, restaurants, fast food joints etc around the hotel.
The hotel has free snacks (pretzels, crisps, tortilla chips, dip and popcorn) as well as 3x free alcoholic (beer, wine) drinks per evening. Soft drinks and coffee available 24/7.
Breakfast was the same every day (eggs, waffles, sausages etc) - a change would have been nice but most importantly the area was clean & tidy and well stocked.
Rooms were large and spacious with clean bedding, towels and sheets. The bathroom was slightly small but most importantly it was clean.
Storage space in the room was great.
Would definitely stay again!

It was really nice for an affordable hotel. 30 minutes from downtown st louis, and has plenty of food options all right there next to the hotel as well.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and staff were very nice and friendly.

We had some concerns this past weekend but Tim took the extra measures and reassured us it was okay!

Cannot thank this hotel staff enough! We arrived for a youth church conference with our group of 22, and many other groups were staying at the same hotel. I totally recognize these are not the easiest groups for hotels to deal with. The hotel staff went above and beyond with being extremely professional, accommodating any request we had and overall making our experience great!

We had a large family group and the service the hotel staff provided was OUTSTANDING. Dani and the rest of the staff did their best to fulfill any requests we had as quickly as possible and answer any questions. My husband and I regularly travel and stay in hotels, and their service was some of the best we have had anywhere. They helped make a birthday weekend for our 5 y.o., a wonderful family/birthday weekend.

Everything was great, except they use some kind of cleaner that left a funky smell in our room. You could smell it in other parts of the hotel so I think it is just whatever they had been using. Other than that, it went swell.

Nice hotel we stayed while on vacation in July, clean room, the Happy hour is awesome, my only complaint is that the pool doesn’t open till 10 am so you can’t swim before check out. Also wish we could watch the Cardinals play on tv (they were in Chicago) but those channels are becoming more elusive.

This is my second time stay at a drury properties. They are so friendly and the room is very nice.

I say five stars. Reason is, I have no complaints. Carpet seemed new and clean. Great shower pressure with shampoo, conditioner and body wash gel in the shower if you need it. Bed mattress seemed newer (I checked under the cover) and it was comfortable—soft yet supportive if that makes sense. Temperature control worked great, thermostat on the wall. Clean. Pillows were comfy too. Wifi STRONG. Walls seemed insulated well. I wasn’t bothered by noise.

We had an amazing stay! Beds and pillows were very comfortable! The room was very tidy and clean when we arrived! The free breakfast was fresh, hot, very tasty and there was plenty of it!

The best part though, was the staff. Everyone that we met and talked with were very kind and willing to go to lengths to make sure you had everything you needed. There were two staff in particular that stood out; I apologize in advance but the day manager was very cordial! When we came down to the cafeteria, he was putting stuff away but I wanted another muffin before we left and the manager not only gave me one muffin but FIVE! I know that probably seems insignificant to some but for us it was exceptional!
The other staff member, I believe her name was, Rhonda. She was very kind, had a great personality and would always say hi and have a nice word to say. She was working in the cafeteria when I went down early in the morning and even though she was swamped with stocking food and items, she never broke that kind demeanor. And when we left, she wished us a wonderful day.

I guess after reading our review you can probably glean that our stay was above and beyond exceptional. We would highly recommend staying here if you're in Arnold or the surrounding area. You won't be disappointed!

Nice nice hotel for the price. Staff was pleasant and helpful. They provided drinks and snacks in the lobby before dinner. We also got a decent hot breakfast in the morning. No complaints from me.

Clean, fresh, and quiet! An excellent mattress make for a great stay! Wide variety for breakfast, and an evening kick back hour after work is the perfect combination for a great hotel stay!

The Pear Tree Inn was a nice stay. It had the same perk of free evening drinks as a Drury Inn, along with a snack of chips, salsa and pretzels. The fountain soda machine seems to be available 24/7 which was nice. We visited it several times. Rooms seemed clean. There was an odd pepper smell in the elevator that I think was possibly bug spray, not sure. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay.
