I just had the best burger I've had in a long time at this little place. I love the looks of this American Flag hanging Restaurant. The Hog Wild Burger was amazing. Very clean and comfortable place. The service was very polite. Will for sure visit again next time in town.

We were traveling through Ava and our friends knew about Archies. This place is amazing. What a hidden gem. The biscuits are huge, fluffy, and perfect. I asked for crispy bacon and it was crisp and yummy. My husband had the chicken fried steak and declared it better than Cracker Barrel. Everything was better than Cracker Barrel. Super delicious!

Don't overlook this treasure! The waitress was working very hard and made sure everything was perfect. I ordered the Whole Hog Burger with fries, the burger was phenomenal and the french fries were the best I have had. They are coated with a crunchy coating I haven't tried before. Washed it all down with a frosty ice cold root beer and grabbed a piece of 🥕 carrot cake to go. I would love to come back and bring someone with me.

Been here about three times absolutely love the biscuits and gravy pictured here is the large portion of biscuits and gravy the pepper I added myself and the side of hash browns I also added very delicious 😋 have always had great service all three times.

Great family style restaurant! Drove from Fordland to try this place out. Both my wife and I loved it! Great food at a great price point. We will definitely have to come back. Planning to pay with card? There's a 3% additional charge, but totally worth it!

This place was hard to find because it's actually Archie's family restaurant now. Other than that the food was really really good, the service was great, price was reasonable and it was clean and homie. We loved it.

I had a fantastic lunch here with my brother today. I got the chili cheeseburger and he got the fish basket. Our waitress was so attentive and the rest of the staff were fantastic! My burger was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic. Not too much chili so that it made the bun soggy. One of the owners even came out and talked with us about the meal and was busy working, not just sitting in the back hiding from customers. Will definitely be bringing my mom for brunch!!

Chicken fried steak and hamburger were delicious! And our waitress was great!

Great food and great service. I had a fried steak sandwich and my wife had the taco potato. Both were excellent. Also tried their onion rings that came with dressing. Very tasty. We arrived 45 minutes before closing, but our waitress served us with a smile and was very attentive and cheery. What else could one ask for?

Too bad we live 650 miles away in Colorado. Otherwise we would surely stop in again if ever in Ava, Missouri. Cheers!

We absolutely love Archie's! Awesome family friendly place and their all you can eat catfish dinner is yum! They have smaller meals for light eaters as well as big juicy burgers!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches, which were delicious! Their onion rings and sweet potato fries were wonderful as well. A great meal for a reasonable price!

Breakfast was wonderful. Service is fast and friendly. Portions are a little big. Drinks are oversized and in nice heavy glasses. Staff kept my glass full and offered to-go cup when I left. Did not feel rushed. Atmosphere was homey and very welcoming

This place was a wonderful surprise in such a small town! Food was wonderful, the atmosphere was really nice and the staff, very friendly! I also need to note that the meal was presented in a very attractive way. After all, the first bite is with the eye! Great burgers, fish, shrimp, baled potatoes and more! Can't wait to go back and try the breakfast items!

Such a cute diner style restaurant 😍. I was really in the mood for breakfast butthey stop serving breakfast at 10:30am. Not to worry, there was plenty to choose from on the Lunch menu. We will be back...maybe to try breakfast!

Best food in an Ava restaurant. Great service. Friendly...good prices.. the cat fish is awesome! The roast beef you cut with a fork..breakfasts are terrific. Coffee is good.....pork cutlets sandwich,hamburgers wonderful.. have never had anything that wasn't just plain tasty. Highly recommend to anyone... Oh and terrific homemade pies! Plus a terrific staff. Friendly, clean, inviting.
