Onion rings were well fried. Partyelt was delicious and juicy. Staff were polite, prompt, and friendly. Nice lunch dining experience.

I have run a restaurant before and never have I ever seen food coming out of a kitchen so fast!! We arrived and there were no tables it was so packed. Saw a familiar face who invited us to share a table. Our food was perfect and fast. Everyone in there looked happy. I was stunned.

Update.. Back again. Their Mexican food is the bomb!

Stopped in after working in the courthouse. We had a wonderful homemade, stick to your ribs lunch. The Cajun catfish could have been a little more flavorful, the mashed potatoes and gravy and veggies were delicious! But quite frankly the best part was watching all of the locals greet “Ms Mona” (I believe was her name). She was dining with a deputy. Someone picked up her (their?) bill before I could get to it. Two little girls - I think our servers daughters- ran into the restaurant and greeted Ms. Mona before they even greeted their momma. It was so precious. We will be back- definitely for the atmosphere. 😁

The service here is amazing! My father comes in every day and they know exactly what he wants and brings it to him.  This restaurant does fun community things like giving cookies to moms on Mother's Day.
But, it is about the food! The Belgium waffle always comes out golden brown. Fried eggs are always just cooked enough to keep the yolks runny. The bacon 🥓 is typically crisp. It's the best breakfast in Ava.
Daily specials keep things lively.  The entire restaurant feels welcoming.
(One hint: if you order a Belgium waffle with fruit, request the fruit heated and on the side--you'll thank me.)

We decided to try this diner today while in the area and it was excellent! The rueben sandwiches were wonderful. My friend had the chili & grilled cheese which was also very good. Our waitress Sophia was spot on with everything. We will return!!

Best biscuits and gravy in Southwest Missouri. Worth the drive to Ava. The waitress was so attentive too. Refreshing.

Great diner, no surprises. Question though: what was on the TV? Looked not quite like a soap opera with no one I recognized.

Haro Brothers came to Ava a couple of years ago, and have been a great addition to our small community. Make a great hamburger! The restaurant is clean and the prices are very reasonable.

Small town and unsuspecting, this little restaurant has become an easy favorite for my husband and I. He really enjoyed his sandwich, and my grilled chicken fettuccine Alfredo was great! The grilled chicken actually tasted freshly grilled and was cooked great. The service is friendly, to say the least. Pricing is very reasonable as well. We definitely plan on going back!

I was visiting from alton missouri for a track meet in your town and your restaurant we chose you for For a good home cook meal away from. Best service I've ever had from a server. She was the best cannot remember her name though love visiting Ava today felt very welcomed thank you guys so very much for the best time ever and thank. You? For your points on my stomach ache

Love a hole in the wall Cafe and this one didn't disappoint! Great food and service. Will stop in again next time we're in Ava.

The food was excellent, the staff was nice, prices very good. Just off the square of Ava across from the courthouse. I had biscuits and gravy, and the portions were very good. Great place to take a whole family, in fact they treated us like we were family. That was my first time there and I plan on going back.

We eat here quite often. The food and service are always wonderful. Portions are big enough for any appetite. Best breakfast in Ava!
