Nellie's Sweet Shoppe

Lots of fun classic candies- Chunky Bar, Bit-o-Honey, Mary Janes, Double Bubble, Chuckles, etc. Fudge, of course. Some assorted chocolates. Bottled sodas both common (Pepsi) and uncommon (Sprecher). They serve Blue Bell ice cream, too. The place is spacious and very clean. Five or so tables if you'd like to sit to eat your treat.

I haven't been there personally, but I order mine online. The fudge and candy are phenomenal! I definitely recommend.

BEST FUDGE EVER!!! I love going in here with my kiddos. We had a hay day the other day and went crazy on candy, ice cream and food. Walked out spending a little too much but couldn't resist. This place is amazing, and the quality is excellent. Highly recommend you try it. I promise the fudge is so perfect it's crazy. 💖💖💖💖

We love this place! Such a nice addition to the downtown Smithville area! Great fudge and ice cream! We had some awesome hot cocoa bombs a while back too.

Jackie was super nice and helpful and the truffles and fudge are absolutely delicious. My daughter liked the candied apples. I would recommend to anyone passing through!!!!

Good choices of candy! That's what my grandson Miles said! Of course the ice cream cone was a hit since it was 101° today. Miles and Max each left with a bag full of candy including a giant jaw breaker that they thought was awesome!!

Amazingly kind owner who sells scrumptious treats. My children still talk about all of the fun they had walking to Nellie's and the delightful treats they bought there. It is a little slice of heaven on earth. :)

I loved the place. The owner and fudge maker Mr. Harley, was a nice man. The fudge was excellent. We also got taffy. Every type of fudge we bought was unique and delicious.

One of our favorite places! They have these tiny baby cones too! The fudge is amazing!

This is an old style candy and ice cream store and I love it. They have an amazing selection of fudge and old style candies and great ice cream. Definitely will return.

I love this candy shop, just wish they would bring back the dark chocolate non- parilis. Also wish they had candy apples. They did have my root beer fudge.

Wonderful staff and wonderful selection of treats! This is a quintessential spot for a summertime treat. Always love seeing the small town spirit radiate when I come here.

Quaint small town. Great homemade fudge and candies. Also, great hand dipped malts, shakes and ice cream. If ever in the area, stop by, it is well worth it.

Amazing place! The shakes are excellent, but the thing to really watch out for is the fudge. They make it all there in the store.

Stopped in for a special treat for the kids. They did a great job making sure the shop wasn't over crowded and the treats were delicious!

This is a good shop. They have so much candy and so many others sweets. But my favorite is the ice cream.
