Could cozy up the place a little more but the food, coffee and service were awesome. Highly recommend.

This coffee house has some of the best coffee in the KC area. I am from NZ and struggle to find good coffee in the US but this place is great. The setting is also great for working in or just to catch up with friends.

The people here are so friendly, I love coming here, a coffee shop in a small town! I love supporting smaller businesses! They make you feel like family and the atmosphere is absolutely welcoming the coffee tastes great never had an issue

Fantastic shop. They brew Hammerhand espresso and coffee, which is one of the best in KC. They have a super pretty space and their white mocha is killer! Definitely will be back!

Five stars all around for this place. Good coffee and a fun place to hang out. The staff there is phenomenal and will always recommend something great if you don't have an idea what you're in the mood for.

Great small town coffee shop. Drive right on past that corporate drive thru and stop in downtown Smithville. You won’t regret it. Delicious treats to snack on also.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the world. My kids love the cookies and peanut butter balls. I love the muffins and coffee. From brewed drinks to espressos to iced tea, I've not had anything bad. It's in a small downtown square. It's also been freshly revamped with more seating. It's nice to go to a place where they know your order when you walk in (but you do need to come here more than once for that!)

What a great coffee shop on the corner with great service. My favorite drink is the Vanilla Bean Frappe with espresso of course and those cinnamon crescent rolls, WOW!

I absolutely love cornerstone with all my heart. They have some of the best drinks I have ever had, and I go there any chance I get. It is the perfect spot to meet people, study, work, or hangout and I recommend it to anyone who goes to Smithville.
I love the workers and they consistently make the experience memorable. My only issue however is on a recent occasion my group was made very uncomfortable by an instance, I met up in a group to talk and we got on a rant about sensitive topics. We were discussing about topics such as consensual interactions, rude behavior and abusers. On our way out we were stopped, and we were commented on and pressured to not talk bad about others. Religion was pressured-and although I agree wholeheartedly with what the worker said-we were having a personal conversation, and it was about sensitive and validated topics which made other members uncomfortable.

Other than that however, I love cornerstone and the contribution it is to smithville.

I enjoy frequently stopping into this little shop, super friendly staff and low key vibe! Great spot to knock out some work and enjoy a great coffee, tea and pastry! Small town feel makes it so welcoming and the staff does a great job! Smithville is lucky to have a great coffee spot!

Adorable coffee shop in downtown Smithville. This is my go-to location for a delicious Cappuccino and friendly service. Excellent experience 100% of the time!

They serve Hammerhand coffee here. I had a cold brew and the flavor was great. Strong without being bitter which is what I enjoy about cold brew. I went on a Saturday around noon. The shop wasn't very busy. There are five tables and the chairs are metal which I find cold and uncomfortable. I would go back for another coffee, but not sure I would stay to drink it again. My barista was friendly and helpful.

Cornerstone is a great experience. Cute little downtown coffee shop run by a smart business owner. I highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Cinnamon Roll Croissants. These are a must have. The business has gotten even better, they have a loyal following and great service!

Cornerstone Coffee is excellent. My iced Americano was spot on and the Cinnamon Roll Croissant was delicious, fresh, and still warm from the oven. The owner and staff were very friendly. So glad to have this great shop in Smithville.

Our family loves this little coffee shop and visit daily. ALWAYS tastes great & made by staff who visit & chat with us while making our drinks.

Today, just proved again how great they are. I was running behind after a busy day at work & truly wanted a coffee. Messaged them that I would arrive about 4:30 (closing). I got there at 4:27 but it was ready. I truly appreciate this pick me up to complete my busy night.

Cornerstone coffee is a great environment with amazing barista’s. Great bakery pastries, highly recommend the cinnamon croissant 🥐 .
