Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Louis Downtown

Impressed!!! First time in town. I was hesitant after reading several reviews. I had an amazing stay from beginning to end. Front desk staff is amazing. They charge for parking but the parking lot is secure and new. The entire hotel feels very safe since you need your hotel key card to go anywhere inside the building. My room looked and felt clean. Bed is very comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again if I’m ever back in the area. Front lobby area is small but very clean and welcoming.

This hotel hosted us for our family reunion. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The view from our room was picturesque. We looked forward to eating breakfast every morning collectively. It is in a great location. I can go on, but you get the point.

Overall - Janice was at the front desk while checking in and during the short conversation she switched our room so our granddaughter had a great view of the ferris wheel. That is Great Customer Service! Thank you very much.

Very clean hotel and room with an awesome view of the city.
There are a few dining locations that are with in walking distance.
The breakfast spread was good, only missing waffle maker, but no worries.

Only change needed is to lower the wattage of the lights around the front desk or supply sun glasses as folks enter the building.

We stayed for one night here. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly. The beds are comfortable, seem on the firm side, and have an extra blanket between the sheet and top cover. In room fridge does not have a freezer compartment. Room is spacious feeling. I couldn't find the stairs to go up and down. The weight room looks great, I didn't get to use this one but wished I could have. The breakfast is good, meat and egg options, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, bread and English muffins for toasting. No waffle maker but 3 kinds of cold cereal and soy milk provided. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

This is a nice, new, and clean hotel in a great location. The room and bathroom are good sized and comfortable. They have made an effort to be a little nicer than their contemporaries. It has a nice breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful.

That is the good. Now the bad.

Parking is $20/night. There is too much noise from neighboring rooms.

Overall this is a good but not great hotel. When in town again, I may well stay here again, but I am open to trying another of the nearby hotels to hopefully find a quieter room.

Clean rooms, nice view, friendly staff. Hotel is very secure. Need a key card to get in the hotel even during the day. Parking cost is around 20$

This place was amazing. Staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Michelle was our bartender Thursday night and sh was just amazing. Thanks for making us the strawberry lemon drops!!! The rooms were clean and well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Also, they had an on-site parking garage that was easy to use. The hotel is locked all the time, and guest key cards are used to get in. Which made us feel safe on our girls' trip. It is within walking distance to Union Market and 1.8 miles from the Gateway Arch.... we walked and wasn't a bad walk to take. Lastly, they have complimentary breakfast that had a lot of options. Thanks so much, I hope to come back again there!

I initially planned to stay at the Holiday Inn @ Convention Ctr like I always do, but I came across this one & was curious. Read the latest reviews, everyone spoke highly, so I booked. The reviews were not wrong! Lovely hotel, great staff. Yummy breakfast. Nice and CLEAN. And no noise at ALL after-hours. I will definitely be staying here from now on.

My husband and I enjoyed every moment at this hotel. For it to be Labor Day weekend our stay was great. The staff was incredible, the breakfast was good, the room was pleasant and the bed was comfy. The location was everything. 10-15 min walk to Union Station, Aquarium, and Ferris Wheel. The view was amazing!

Hotel was very clean. The walk-in shower was the best of any hotel I've stayed in. It was spacious and had the handle located away from the shower head so you could avoid getting sprayed by cold water when turning it on. The bathroom could use more towel hooks located near the shower door. The shower door swings both ways so you don't have to get the floor wet when getting out. The shampoo and conditioner were better quality than many hotels. Convenient location for activities held in Union Station and various eateries. Key card access to building required for safety. Level 2 EV charging in the parking structure for no extra charge beyond the cost to park in the structure.

I stayed here while I was in town for Mother’s Day weekend.

The room/bathroom were nice and clean.

The housekeeper came to my door one morning and I asked her to come back in an hour (because at that time I was going to be out of the room), but when I got back I saw that she hasn’t returned so I had to call down to the front desk to get the trash emptied and new towels. That wasn’t a huge issue. The front desk and housekeeper were both nice & friendly.

They have a bar area. I went down to the bar on my last night and sat at a table by the window. The bartender could have been a little bit more friendlier/attentive. It seemed like she payed more attention to the individuals sitting at the bar. The drinks were decent.

The location of the hotel was close to the places that I went.

I would definitely stay here again! I hope their prices remain reasonable.

We had an amazing experience throughout our entire stay. The staff was so nice and helpful, our room was very clean, the bed was super comfy, and we had a beautiful view of St. Louis and the ferris wheel at night. Breakfast was great as well - there were many options. The only thing I would complain about is that the parking was a little hard to get out of with an f250. But we managed! Other than that, everything was terrific! 🙂

I've stayed here on two separate occasions, both times have been great. It's a must-stay if you're going to a soccer game, the convenience of staying across the street is awesome. Rooms are new and clean. Complimentary breakfast is good, especially the pre-packaged Belgian waffles. Paid parking isn't too bad unless their garage is full.

I enjoyed my stay here as rooms are massive for two people and I needed that as I was sharing it with a colleague who took the couch. They are located in a fairly accessible area not too far from the Arch or Union station. They have a nice breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan breakfast options on alternate days. The sweet lady who manages breakfast told me that I could always request for vegan breakfast on all days too and if necessary make a prior request at the time of reservation.

As with most Fairfield Inns, you’re going to get a modern hotel with good beds and a decent breakfast. It’s walking distance from Union Station and some of the rooms overlook the practice fields for the local soccer team. Cool night time view as well. There is no pool, which is fine, but know that going in. The extra $20 to park kind of sucked, particularly when the area wasn’t busy at all, but I can see why it would be worthwhile during a game.

This hotel is very new and it shows. The road in front was under construction, which makes it complicated to get there, but the parking lot is easy to use otherwise. Their fitness center is good sized with a lot of free weights / weight machines (unusual for a hotel). They don't have a pool but do have an outdoor seating area with a fire pit. Breakfast is pretty standard and they have a bar onsite open in the evenings.

Everyone was so helpful with making some last minute changes to our reservation! Great customer service 👏

The staff here is amazing. They actually care about the quality of your stay. I was blown away. I happened to be in the elevator at the same time an employee was entering. She asked about my stay and my room. I told her about a situation we had. She bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of and followed up with a phone call. I wasn't expecting that and wasn't even planning on mentioning the issue. If we are back in this area, I will be staying here again.

Was able to find a room available upon walking in. I felt the price was reasonable. Great location and they serve breakfast. Overall I had a great experience, I am no a member of Marriot. And think I will always stay a Marriotts for every vacation.
