Theo's Midtown

Came in the evening for dinner. Was a bit busy and not much parking space outside. Make sure you come in hungry and you will leave satisfied and with left overs. Come get the hummus and the margarita pizza!

When I lived in Jeff City, Theo's Midtown was definitely one of my regular take out locations. It's nice inside, clean, and has a good feel, but I prefer take-out. No issues having a drink after putting in an order to go.

I highly recommend the pizza, but really I haven't had anything bad here and there does seem to be seasonal changes every now and then, but not enough that you lose your staples.

A good Greek restaurant and Pizzeria. The service is excellent and we got our food in under 10 minutes.

Great Greek Salad. Great Greek Fries. Great Gyro Sandwich with Chicken. Good 50th State (Hawaiian) Pizza.

The pizza was super hot with delicious fresh toppings and ingredients. It was a typical Greek pizza that may not appeal to all, but it was good. The crust is not my favorite, but not bad.

Nice atmosphere with a historic building feel. I recommend going during off peak hours (after lunch rush or after dinner rush) because it can be a little noisy during the rush.

Nice outside seating area with table umbrella. Pleasant dining outside when the weather is nice. Outdoor speakers may be tuned to the ball game.

Never had anything I didn't like from Theos! Great customer service, hot fresh food and Amazing Drink Selection for a small town Restaurant!

This place is great! The staff was very friendly, the beer was cold and delicious and the pizza was to die for! I am coming here every time I come to Jeff City, it's a must!

Had the Greek salad with lamb gyro meat. Perfect for hot weather. Rum n coke hit the spot. Busy but friendly n didn't feel rushed. Love this place!

I had to change my 4 star review from 2 years ago to a 5 star. We have been in several times since then and we have been really impressed since! The service is quick, food delivery is quick, and it's a nice atmosphere with an open kitchen concept. We love this place!

Amazing mozzarella sticks, ravioli was 💯 and pizza was AMAZING! converted my husband who was an Arris' fan. We will be back!!

Adding 5/17/24
Friday night, out of tea, out of coffee out of lettuce and several other things. Decided after getting 2 waters and 2 sprites we would go elsewhere. Went to the counter to pay, found our waitress and told her. She was super rude and walked off.
Next lady was super nice and said she was sorry, told her no biggie, Stuff happens, just didn't want to walk out without paying for what we DID get. 8.09 for two sprites and 2 waters... very disappointed by tonight's visit.

I met friends for a girls' night, and the server was really understanding of us talking more than looking at the food options. She was wonderful, and I wish I would have gotten her name to give a shout out to her. She make sure our drinks were refilled, checked on us, and came up with an idea to signal her when we were ready to prevent from disrupting our talking. 🤭
The food was out of my comfort zone but it was really good and served hott!

Mel and the rest of of the staff were outstanding! We had dinner there with the family and Theo's as usual does not disappoint.

Amazing restaurant!! The Cuban Sandwich was delicious (the best I've ever tasted) and the inside is so inviting with a mix of brick, wood, and stainless steal. You can tell no detail was spared to make this place great!!

A new twist on Greek food! Tried the Greek Grinder sandwich; pleasantly surprised at how delicious it tasted. The service was great and the atmosphere ok, considering it was the coldest day in January.
Funny fact: I ate at the bar, nestled in between two TV's; one played Charmed, and the other, was New Jersey Devils hockey! Kinda bizarre, but okay.

Ordered the lamb gyro and fries. Both were excellent. Comparable to what we had in Greece, recently. My husband Ordered the Cali and it was also very good. Service was fairly quick. Food was fresh. Hope to go there again soon.

I would say that Theo's is a solid 4.5 stars. I've been twice, once for drinks, once for lunch. The menu is elevated bar-food with a Greek spin, and it's really good. They probably want to grow their cocktail crowd, and that requires truly engaging bartenders. 4 stars is good, 5 stars is amazing. The atmosphere is pretty chill, but I think people like booths, and there are none. 100% will go again, it's one of the better hangouts in Jefferson City.

The service here was absolutely wonderful. The waitress was very quick, and checked in on us frequently to refill our drinks or check to see if we needed anything. The appetizers were absolutely phenomenal we ordered 3 different ones and all of them were amazing and full of flavor. For our main course however the food was still so delicious but had room for improvement. We ordered a pizza, and it was fantastic, but I'm not a huge grease person and this pizza was fairly greasy. Of course it was pizza so it makes sense but either way, if you don't like grease I don't recommend. I also ordered a sandwich, although I can't recall the name, It was very tasty but at first I had a very difficult time trying to eat it as it wouldn't fit in my mouth. I ended up having to take off the top half just so I could bite it, haha! Overall very good place would definitely recommend!

Amazing food and service! We ordered the hummus appetizer with extra pitas, large pepperoni pizza and a gyro with fries. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh! We are from St.Louis and I'm planning another day trip for my family so we can eat here again!
