During my recent stay at CYRUS HOTEL TOPEKIA I had the pleasure of experiencing top-notch hospitality, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Megan. From the moment I checked in until the day of my departure, Megan went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable.

Megan greeted me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm, instantly making me feel welcomed. Throughout my stay, she consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism, attentiveness, and dedication to guest satisfaction.

One aspect that truly stood out was Megan’s impeccable attention to detail. She anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, ensuring that everything from room amenities to dining reservations was taken care of seamlessly. Her proactive approach made me feel valued and well-cared for throughout my stay.

Moreover, Megan’s friendly demeanor and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests further enhanced my experience at the hotel. Whether I needed recommendations parking, she was always eager to help, making me feel like a valued guest.

I recently stayed here on a business trip and was impressed with the accomodations. Hunter at the front desk was very helpful, I had forgotten my toothpaste and he offered to send someone to come up to the 7th floor to give me a complimentary pack. I ended up going down to get it but it was nice of him to offer. 😂

Basically the only thing I could ding them for was when my group and I (around 20 people) were at their bar/restaurant area having drinks, they only had one server getting all of our orders, so it took a long time for everyone to get their drinks. I felt bad for her, there's only so much one person can do when they're serving that many people. It's also worth mentioning that this was on just one occasion, there were other times we were there ordering food/drinks and the service was prompt.

The hotel has a sparse, industrial aesthetic that suits it well, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, with four enormous pillows to adapt to any sleeping configuration. The shower area was VERY spacious, I'm 6'6" yet was able to fully stretch my arms and not touch the ceiling! I don't remember the last time I could shower without knocking my head into something. 😂

Right across the street from the hotel is a place called The Pennant, which is a bar/arcade with a nice variety of drinks, arcade games, and bowling. There are also other bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so if you're looking to explore a bit, you've got options.

All in all a great stay in a charming city, would definitely revisit!

OUTSTANDING hotel, staff and service! We had a large group from all over the country meet at this hotel for a family reunion and we were blown away by our wonderful experience! The hotel is gorgeous! A great mix of Historic & Modern amenities and so beautifully decorated. I had no idea that Cyrus Holliday was a founder of Topeka and it was fun to read the history throughout the hotel in the artwork. We booked the Presidential Suite to have a nice gathering space and it is HUGE! The room has a giant living room, big kitchen, dining table that I think sat 12 and then the beautiful patio with big cushioned seating and strung lights that created the most perfect backdrop for photos. The individual rooms were so comfortable and I'm a "linen snob" lol. Devine!
The little touches like extra mirrors in and out of the bathroom, clothing steamer, coffee station with REAL mugs and big screen tv's, I don't know what else we could have asked for!
We booked the private dining room in the Weather Room restaurant and had one of the best meals we have ever had. I'm used to the food being just "OK" when they have to serve such a large group but the Filet Mignons were cooked to perfection and the Salmon with sundried tomato & spinach cream sauce...omg! I wished I could remember more of the staff names because they were all so wonderful but special thanks to Rob the GM and Kelly in the restaurant for being so accommodating and making our event so special. Kudos to you all and I wish I could give higher than 5 stars!! HIGHLY recommend :)

A big thank you to Nyrica ! I didn’t get to stay but I gifted a night at this beautiful hotel to my parents for their wedding anniversary and we had a some issues with the booking. Nyrica was very reactive and solved the problem in no time. It is always the staff that makes or breaks a hotel and I am so appreciative of your hard work.

This hotel feels brand new. The rooms are clean and designed like a cool New York City hotel but not at New York City prices obviously. Great bar, restaurant, the staff was really nice. This is a tiny little town but this hotel is a standout gem.

This is a great hotel. The hotel and rooms and beautiful and very clean. The staff is so helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant is great. I will definitely stay again if I find myself passing through Topeka.

We really liked this place. We had a room with 2 beds and a roll out and were able to sleep all 5.

I joined many other colleges for a yearly conference at The Cyrus Hotel. Our needs were well taken care of before hand and our conference was a success. The meals that were provided were perfectly planned out. They served snacks and drinks during our breaks without a wait. Someone was always at the ready to pick up a plate and make room at the tables. Very efficient!

Our Stay at the cyrus hotel was great! It is a gorgeous hotel and would stay again. Staff was very friendly and informative. The room was very clean. We tried the weather room and had lamb chops and their Cajun pasta! It was delicious and our server was very friendly. Great atmosphere! We also had a chance to eat their breakfast buffet, it was also very good and breakfast went to 10:30 perfect for a late riser. I had a great experience but for the pricey rooms I think it was well worth it!

Heart of the city and close to center of the capitol. Rooms are very clean and quiet.

Super clean, updated rooms and bath. An air of 1920's Topeka Classy and 2020's amenities and comfort. A+

Count me in if the Cyrus hotel has any bearing or representative of Topeka. I'll buy all the stock! Being my first impression of Topeka, as a tourist, I am thoroughly impressed. It would be hard for me to criticize any aspect of this hotel. Parking is well-priced, accessible, and reasonably safe. I only interacted with the receptionist, which was simple and quick. They had me on my way in a flash! The king-sized beds and rooms are cozy, quiet, and elegantly lit. I fell asleep instantly; it was like laying on a firm cloud. Their TVs had all the advanced features with current streaming capabilities. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit the bar or patio, but both looked state-of-the-art or newly renovated. The hotel as a whole was immaculately clean as well. Oh, and it's amazingly prized; a steal of a deal. For a small capital city, this is a hotel experience you won't want to miss!!

Beautiful boutique hotel with an amazing bar and restaurant as well as an event space for your corporate needs. The patio was recently remodeled and it too is incredible. The atmosphere here is unmatched. You will not be disappointed with your stay. I live locally and we are lucky to have this gem downtown.

I have also stayed a night in one of the rooms and the bed was so comfortable. The couches aren't, but that didn't really bother me too much as the bed is good enough for my needs. The style of the room was so beautifully done. Such a unique experience for a small city.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! We stopped at the hotel on our way to Colorado to break up the trip. This hotel is one of the cleanest I've ever stayed at. Not a single hair on the bed. Well dusted. The floors were clean. I love that the floors are not carpeted as I find hotel carpet to be disgusting.

The room we stayed in blew us away as it was huge! The king bed is a true king, not a hotel king. It was clear the sheets had been changed. We stayed two nights once on the way to Colorado and once on the way home. The bed our first stay was really firm and not too comfortable. The pillows were nice. The bed our second stay was much nicer. It also had a mattress protector while the other did not.

I searched the bed and furniture each time to check for bugs and found nothing! So I'm not sure why one mattress had a protector and the other didn't but didn't see anything concerning. I do not like the headboards on the bed, I feel like if the hotel does have a bug problem in the future it would make it very difficult to treat. I worried about how the hotel can keep those clean (but they looked fine when we stayed so they must have their ways!)

The restaurant and bar were very reasonably priced and the food was awesome! The perfect amount of food, and the drinks were strong.

The real win of this hotel for me was the overall atmosphere. It is a very aesthetically pleasing hotel. It is not cookie cutter like other hotels. I definitely love staying at Mariotts, we always have great experiences at them. Overall 100/10 experience. The hotel was also incredibly quiet to the point I wondered if we were the only guests haha (we did stay on weekdays, so I'm sure that had a role).

If you're looking for a place to stay in Topeka I highly recommend this hotel. I don't anticipate my family will ever be back in the area but if we are I'm definitely staying here again.

The hotel is also right off the interstate which was nice. The only downside is the parking situation is kind of annoying. Street parking, find your own, or do valet.

Lovely hotel! It doesn't take long to see why the Cyrus was added to the Marriott Bonvoy Collection. Located downtown within walking distance of some wonderful establishments and the Kansas State Capitol. They provide you with a nice information sheet once you arrive and, because we have the bonvoy app, they notified us that are room was ready early with the option to check in and use a digital key. Parking is tricky but they offer valet service which is well worth the cost. The rooms have been modernized and are quite spacious with great amenities including a steamer, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. The only drawback was the television; options were only Netflix, YouTube, and Pandora without the option to add an app during our stay or connect/cast. Which in today's streaming battle left us sports fans the choice of using a laptop or finding somewhere else to watch. The bathrooms were nice with a spacious shower, plenty of towel racks, hair dryers, and (for us older patrons) easy to use facet handles plus a comfort height toilet. The only downside was the lighting and lack of counter space or extending makeup mirror. Very difficult to style hair or apply makeup. There were no vending machines or ice machine but a nice market selection and option for the front desk to provide ice. The restaurant/bar space looked very welcoming which included nice patio space, however, we were there on business so did not avail ourselves of the Weather Room. Great experience!

We have stayed here twice now and love it. The hotel is super clean and the people are always so nice and helpful!! A perfect place to stay on the way through Kansas. We have not done much in the area pretty much pass through but we will stop here every time for sure! Nice coffee shop across the street and stores within walking distance.

Beautiful motel. We really enjoyed our stay!
