I will start by saying that I live over 2 hours away from Ottumwa. My first interaction with R/J Performance happened on accident. 5 days after buying a used Indian from private party it acted up and left my brother stranded 4 hours from home. I called the local Indian dealers and motorcycle shops and the best result I got was someone telling me 8 weeks out to even take a look at it. I then called R/J Performance and talked to Darren. He explained that they too were extremely busy, but if I brought it down and left it he would find a way to work it in. 10 days later (WAY sooner than expected) the bike was diagnosed as fuel pump issue it was repaired and back home. The bike since then has had about 2000 miles put on it worry free. This interaction went so well it got me thinking about updating my bike. They had a left over 2020 Chieftain that I was interested in. I reached out to them and was put in touch with Jim. There was absolutely 0 back a forth. I had done my research and Jim was able to accept my offer. He treated me right on the accessories I wanted installed. I brought my uncle with me to pick up my bike and needless to say he ended up pulling the trigger on a 2021 Chieftain as well. There was 0 pressure to purchase straight forward pricing and everyone that was there was awesome to work with. Before leaving the owner Rick came out and shook our hand and even helped us load one bike. It was 98 degrees out so it when loading but he didn't shy away from helping. He also made sure we went home with some cool swag. Even though this place is more than 2 hours away I will continue to have my bikes serviced there and they have earned my business for a long time. Thanks to everyone involved in this transaction. I look forward to many many miles ahead.

The web site showed an Orange XP and it was gone so Hunter sold me a Pro R. it is a beast in the desert and will live its life in AZ. The day i picked it up was chaos so it was not real clean. Connor was smooth and sold me 5 yr coverage. I read people talk about oem warranty and the 3rd party warranty and my hope is that what I bought is good. I trusted Connar and hope I made the right decisión. Took it the dealer for the failure to shut off and Iron City took care of me and have a great facility and people. My friend all bought KRX, so glad I bought the beast. Its a bit wide, but so stable.. Thank you for the ride.

The perfect buying experience. After checking many dealerships, even our local one, we were treated like an annoyance. No test drives, nobody that wanted to give us the time, no call backs…… and so on.

NOT RJ’s. I found the machine online, 500 miles away. I called them and spoke with Devan. Devan checked in with me for a week helpjng us make an informed decision. So on our road trip to Chicago, we stopped in. Not only did they let us test drive, they let us compare the manual Slingshot to the Autodrive. Two test drives, and an informed decision was made. This review is for a 2023 Indian FTR Sport that I purchased at the Ottumwa, Iowa Indian Motorcycles owned and operated by RJ Performance. I will start with the details that I spent the past nine - ten months looking for the perfect motorcycle, the perfect deal, and the perfect dealership. I reviewed the other dealerships I visited fairly and accordingly, and I even stated in prior reviews that when I was ready to buy my bike, it was there that I would do it. You see, I wasn't exactly sure what bike I wanted. I've had almost 30 bikes in my life, and they were an assortment of dirt, dual-sport, street, cafe, sport, super sport, and GP race. Yes, I once owned a Muzzy GP Kawasaki Ninja ZX7M race bike that had streetlights and signals for the highway. I was looking for what would be my last bike, the bike I will own until I die, and my son can take it, dust it off, and go riding. Not only that, though, I also didn't want to get ripped off and I have lived too long to deal with unfriendly, unfair, and pompous dealers, many of which I have deal with in the past. I have bought and owned bikes coast to coast and border to border, literally, and finding RJ Performance in the middle of it all was not something I'd have ever imagined. And Indian Motorcycles, made right here in Iowa, well, assembled here at least, is a subsidiary of Polaris, Incorporated, a trusted source of US powersports goods and products. The staff at RJ Performance, a small family-owned business, ranks right up there for professionalism, knowledge of product, and honesty. I had some bad experiences in my search for the perfect bike to enjoy my retirement on, and I am glad for it, because the FTR Sport and the deal I got at RJ Performance was not going to be beat by any of the other bikes I looked at, nor the dealers offering them. Thanks, RJ Performance, and Devan, my salesperson, in particular. Good luck with the business and hopefully other companies will ask you to sell their products.

Whole deal went smooth. Adam was very helpful prior to me even coming into the dealership. Had a few questions and he was able to send me more detailed photos. Jim was also very helpful and glad we were able to come to a deal on the Ranger. Highly recommend.

Awesome team with competitive pricing, they even taught me everything I needed to know about trailering for the first time. CJ, Conner and Adam were fantastic to work with, can’t recommend them highly enough.

Worked with Jim on a new Tenere 700. Upfront pricing and was in and out in less than an hour when I picked it up. Made a 7 hour round trip and was well worth it. I would make the drive again to buy here if they had something I was looking for!

Took advantage of a huge sale event and bought a green mountain grill pellet grill/smoker. We've used it 2 nights in a row so far and both meals were delicious. I'm sure we will get lots of use out of it

I bought a used 2008 Kawasaki Mule 610 from R/J's. I worked with Hunter and Tammy. Couldn't have been a better experience. I drove 700 miles round trip to get it. When I got there Tammy was ready for me and the Mule was it even better condition than I thought. Fast easy transaction and I was on my way home. My wife loves her new yard machine.
