Jimmy is super knowledgeable about all things music. He helped me restore my Grandfather's 57 Gibson guitar. Plus, he has some great stories to tell about Topeka's music history.

Best music store in Topeka, Jim Hayes is an experienced luthiers always prepared for whatever job you send his way. If you prefer stop in to see some of his wonderful collection, hear a joke and listen to a story or two

By far the best!!! Everyone I know who is into music recommends Hayes House of Music and would never consider anywhere else.
People whom have given a poor review are obviously just other repair shops who cant compete with Jimmy on a profesional level.

New location’s a bit cramped but they have a great selection for the size. You can’t help but buy more than you need with such friendly service, and got outta there paying half what I would have for lower quality products at Manning. Very pleased
