Holiday Inn Express & Suites Topeka West I-70 Wanamaker, an IHG Hotel

This is an older hotel. They keep it clean though and the staff is very friendly. Compfy bed, large room. Conveniently right by the exit to 70. An odd entrance off of an apartment area. Has nice walking area through the neighborhood.

Nice clean place. Rooms are good sized and very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Great breakfast selection. Will be going back when we are in Topeka.

Great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Topeka. Super convenient to the freeway. Great value! They have awesome pillows!! I slept very well.

Great hotel, very clean, comfortable, staff attentive. Slightly later than average check-out available (1 PM). Pool, hot tub, and fitness room. Breakfast good (3/5) but could benefit from some additions (for example we would personally appreciate a granola bar, with various nuts, fruits, and other Paleo sides like we have seen in some hotels with exceptional breakfast). Above average coffee machine and large TV but strangely no microwave in room, which is a bit annoying but overall hotel still 5/5.

I only stay at HIE's any more & this one is one of the reasons why. Everything is as one would appreciate and recommend to others.

We stopped and got a room due to a blizzard coming in. We stayed 2 nights before it was safe to travel again. The staff was friendly and courteous. They attended to our requests for clean towels and such very promptly. They were great. The breakfast was very good. I guess if I have any negative to say, it was that the fruit could have been fresher. I would not have eaten it. Also, they had the breakfast room picked up and closed by 9:45 when it was open until 10. Other than that, we always choose Holiday Inn Express for our overnight stays because we are always happy with them.

As always with HI express, comfy bed and pillows.
Good water pressure in shower and wonderfully absorbent towels.

I always enjoy meeting my daughter's family there to get together & celebrate holidays & birthdays. Its always clean & fresh, extremely comfortable, too. We all have enough room to spread out & my very active grandson has room to be rowdy too!

Stayed there last night and I'd have to say this is a really nice hotel. Staff was great and the rooms were nice. We stayed in an king suite and it's a little small for a suite and only had one TV but compared to all the surrounding hotel options this was great. Breakfast was really good with lots of options. The pool was really nice half is 3' deep which my 5 year old loved. Now the hot tub was really hot but really lacked on bubbles. I think only 3 of the Jets worked. For the price we payed for one night nothing should be broken there. Overall I would highly recommend and will be back. Did have an issue with the night staff the day before our stay telling me that the hotel was booked solid for two days then found open rooms online. Kayla one of the managers helped straighten all out the next day. Upon reading all the past reviews this hotel is on its way and has done a major transformation!

Big, spacious and clean. Room had a Keurig, microwave, refrigerator and small sink area as well as a living area with a sofa and chair. Also our room had a computer chair and desk area, if you needed to work during your stay. I'd definitely stay here again.

Booked this room last minute on our drive to California. The staff was very hospitable and extremely friendly . The bed was one of the best beds I’ve ever had in a hotel. Definitely was not disappointed.

The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and the room was incredibly spacious. We were surprised by how much room there was including a two sink counter, a bar, and second bathroom connected to the living room area. The breakfast was good - the typical Holiday Inn fare. Overall it was easily one of the nice hotels I've stayed in, and I would definitely stay again.

Great hotel clean rooms and comfy beds .

Very comfortable. Large suite. Quiet area. Staff very friendly. Definite recommend. Easy access to freeways, shopping and dining. Recommend the Blind Tiger for dinner

We stopped here for a night while traveling. Everything was so great and comfortable for our stay! The room was spacious and clean. I loved that they had a table with granola bars and bottles of water for guests on the way out! Also, this hotel is close to a TON of restaurants and stores which was a huge plus when I needed to grab some things from Walmart!

Clean hotel. Might not look like the newest one, but it’s well taken care of. Floor smelled like weed when I arrived but it cleared up. Great beds and great staff.

The staff was so helpful when we checked in. The room was clean and cozy. The lady that was serving breakfast was the sweetest! Great food. This place is nicely located just off I-70.

I stayed at the hotel with a very large and complicated group, with some people checking in and out to various rooms daily. The staff were all very professional, understanding, and friendly, and handled all our complex issues quickly. Breakfast was great, rooms were very clean, and I enjoyed the pool and workout rooms. I would definitely stay again, and highly recommend.

This hotel is really clean and nice! It has a (super cold) pool and a hot tub, as well as, an exercise room. The breakfast is amazing and delicious! There are lots of restaurants around and it's right off I-70 and easy to get to. I'd definitely stay here again!
