Candlewood Suites Topeka West, an IHG Hotel

Room was beautiful, comfortable and clean, had issue with small child running none stop for 2 days over my head. I finally said something to front desk personnel and it was addressed immediately and politely. Free laundry, great location! Very well run establishment.

The person working at the front desk last night, Jake, did an amazing job getting me set up last night. He was super friendly, super professional, and just made the whole check in process a breeze. He helped to tell me about the rewards program at the hotel, and went out of his way to set it up for me. Great guy.

I had an amazing experience the rooms were very clean and the new general manager austyn is very sweet and goes above and beyond for her guess to try and make sure they have the best experience possible for the people who come through, I work for preferred and we use this hotel a lot and austyn has always made sure we are happy and comfortable. Would highly recommend to others!

Nice hotel, with free laundry facilities and a large fitness center. They have a couple of propane grills in the back that are available anytime for guest use. The rooms are clean and modern looking, and have the full kitchen setup, with a dishwasher, stovetop and various kitchen essentials. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Great hotel to stay at in Topeka! I’ve very much enjoyed my stay here.

This is our first time at this hotel chain. The room is large, including a rather large closet, a very nice bathroom area, good sized kitchen area and a wonderful sleeping/desk area. The beds are clean and very comfortable. The pillows are cool and nicely firm. Great to sleep on and watch TV on. Only complaint is the excellent a/c and heating system. It's set to run at full speed but cools and warms the entire suite very quickly. The room stays comfortable with the system off for several hours. Highly recommend this chain.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are great, the service is great, and my stay was enjoyable. Liz, Anna, and Moriah provide great customer service during my stay. Alexis always did a great job in keeping my room clean. This hotel should be rated at a 5 star status. I would recommend the President of the United States to stay here 🇺🇲 .

Stayed at this hotel because I’m here for work. The front desk lady, Liz, did an amazing job getting us checked in. Everyday she greets us with a great attitude and smile. Moriah, Anna and many others have helped us and they are all so nice.

Been here several times over the last couple months and the girls are all amazing. The rooms are great and comfortable. As a woman who travels alone all over the United States, I feel very comfortable and safe here.

The hotel and staff are both top of the line. If you are reading this I want to suggest bringing the desk clerk a dinner in a sack. I went out to eat and on my way out the door I asked if she had eaten dinner yet and she had not. I brought her basically the same meal I had eaten from a Mexican restaurant just up the road. She and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Such good people that are doing such a great job. Thanks

Great hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff

The staff made my 2 week stay for work GREAT.I want to personally thank Odessa, Flossie, Eddie ,Emily & DT for going above and beyond. PROS My needs were attended to (from a room change due to TV issues to bringing coffee cups to my room at midnight), the room was spacious, nice/new appliances , awesome location near highway and tons of shops/restaurants, kitchenette with cookware/tableware and very comfortable bed. CONS the cleaning staff could be more consistent, slight noise from the highway and complimentary breakfast would be nice, BUT if you need something cleaned....ask and you shall receive and there is a pantry with moderately priced food items that you can charge to your room.....you could also cook, if that's your thing😊. All in all, the cons were not enough to subtract a star and I'm a germaphobe, so I always sanitize everything before use but the room was acceptably clean upon arrival. I'm happy I ended up here and hope that world brings me back soon. I added some pics....excuse the lived-in look, this place was basically my home.

I believe this is the Wannamaker suites now-- We stayed here the last of April we had a room on interstate side the first night noisy for me--didn't bother my husband the room was very nice and clean very good bed(important) nice pillows. All of the staff was very nice & ,helpful.I requested a room on the othe side for the next two nites. the desk man offered to help us with our luggage.We would stay here again without question!.VERY NICE especially for the price. Its nice to have friendly and accommodating staff too. nice to have your kitchen available. NOTE nowhere was there any smoke smell

Booked a room here for a night for a pretty cheap price. The amenities far outweighed the cost, to my surprise! Staff was a little quirky but past that there was plenty of space, appliances, access to more appliances if desired, as well as a gym and laundry machines. Who knew Kansas could provide such accommodation before a long trek through the state's expansive windmill territory!

BFF & I decided to spend the night since we over indulged on adult beverages that evening. It was just safer that way.
We booked a room, showed up and had no issues checking in.
JORDAN S. at the front desk was so sweet and helpful! He is the BEST!
We will definitely consider staying here again, if the need arises.

April and her staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean I had to move rooms a few times and it was pretty late at night they went over and beyond meeting my needs I have small grandchildren and kids and I never any more safe than I did there and there always someone at the front desk it’s the first hotel I stayed at where the front desk staff (night audit) is actually at the desk and more than willing to meet whatever the need maybe money more than well spent

Very clean and elegant. Staff was very kind. Rooms have a kitchen and stove and all the cook wear to go with!! Was a small condo and still cheaper than the cheap hotels.

Nice place for kinda hidden but I had no complaints so far. Pet friendly and they even provide poop bags.

Spacious, comfortable, and mostly quiet. You can even make yourself popcorn. We were only there to sleep so we wished there was a complimentary breakfast.
