Sleep Inn & Suites Topeka West I-70 Wanamaker

What a lovely hotel and pleasant surprise. Was just looking for somewhere to crash for the night. The room was very large. Had to make an extra trip to the lobby to get them to flip the breaker for the room but then everything worked fine. It was so quiet. The woman at the front desk was very nice.

I've been to various hotels in Topeka but this is one of my very favourites. Clean rooms, and yes it lives up to its name- sleep inn. You will have a great night's sleep here in those comfy rooms. The manager Lee is just amazing and goes above and beyond for customers. I also can't say enough great things about the other front desk team as well- Bruce and the other two ladies that work evenings. Great team!

The Rooms were clean and spacious, the only issue (small issue) is that the cable didn't work too well. But the service was great, Bruce and Kristen were above and beyond amazing, always willing to help out!

There's usually three basic things that need to be on point with me, clean sheets clean bathroom comfy bed. Those were perfect. I never slept so great in my life. Lol. The breakfast looked amazing. The fitness room looked clean and in working condition. The washer works great, I'm waiting on dryer so don't know yet about that. Over night front desk guy was incredibly nice and helpful.
But.... our TV didn't work in our room, the bathroom door doesn't lock or even latch closed. The pool had a film of scum on top of it and the jacuzzi s water heater was broken. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE UNIQUE TEA BAGS AVAILABLE AT THIS LOCATION. They have store bought tea. 😒
Oh and dogs are $20 no matter how long you stay, that was more affordable than most places other than your free stays at the red roof or motel 6.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly. The location is perfect for travel in the area. Also has a nice selection of restaurants near by. Has a better than average breakfast for a reasonable rate hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, providing easy access to all the best restaurants and attractions in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly. The room was well-appointed and comfortable, with all the amenities. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk lady was very nice, genuinely cared, and the service was prompt but not rushed. the room was cute and clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a full size mini fridge and microwave. it was so quiet! the pool and hot tub were nicely maintained. breakfast was hot, fresh, and tasty. only stayed here for a night over a long road trip, but I'd definitely come back.

Very clean. Staff was helpful. Indoor pool was very well maintained and very welcomed to not be out in the 100 deg heat. Very nice hot breakfast for a hotel

I've stayed in a BUNCH of decently priced hotels lately, and this one had the BEST staff. Every person we encountered was smiling, seemed to like their job and made us feel very welcome! The room was clean, breakfast was good and they even gave my dogs a welcome bag! Lastly, the pet fee was a flat fee of $25 which was great because my 2 small dogs equal the weight of less than 1 real size dogs and we've been paying a ton traveling with them!

This Sleep Inn is modern and clean. The king size Sealy Posturepedic mattress was very comfortable. The breakfast was good quality Continental style.

We stay here every year for State Wrestling. It is the only time we stay there because the woman that used to work at the front desk (2 years ago), was very condescending and rude. This year I dreaded having to stay there. When we arrived I was happy to see new staff. The manager there went above and beyond. I saw him folding laundry, working the 2nd shift front desk and the next day opening the breakfast bar. He even did maintenance on guests rooms. We will definitely consider stay their every time we go to Topeka as long as he works there.

Great location, clean, very friendly staff. Room was exactly as described. AC worked very well. No ugly smells or stains. Hot and cold water worked no problem. Roomy shower. Pet friendly. Very positive experience. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a great stay here! Continental breakfast was good, bed was comfy, the woman who handled our check-in was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance from several quick restaurants, including a Freddy's Steakburgers and a Taco John's. Convenient access to the interstate and nice and small with a safe overall feeling. Indoor pool open until 10 pm, so we were able to burn some energy after spending all day in the car.

I stayed in room 221. The service was amazing, the woman at the front desk helped me out a lot when it came to finding somewhere to eat that night, as well as some fun things to do near by. Our room was at a very reasonable price, and was very clean and comfortable. Internet was fast and the TV had many more channels then the average hotel. Over all amazing stay.

We were just traveling through Topeka on the way to Colorado from North Carolina and couldn't find two rooms anywhere until I called and spoke to Lee at the front desk...Thank goodness I did! Lee got us all booked in just a few minutes over the phone and I have to say,this was an amazingly clean,comfy room! Everyone from staff to the other guests were so very kind and I will stay here on my trip back home. Thanks for everything! I would give more stars if I could!!!

My husband and I usually stay at fancier hotels but with no other hotel availability, we tried the Sleep Inn in Topeka.

It was PERFECT. The bed was superb. As a matter of fact, the bed was so comfortable that I did not want to get up. LOL😁

Anyway, it was beautiful, clean, quiet, reasonably priced, and they had a (surprisingly) good breakfast, too.

Enjoyed it immensely. 👍
