Hampton Inn Topeka

If you get the chance, stay here at this Hampton. The lady who checked us in was exemplary. She was so helpful even the next day and helped us find a dentist because my traveling companion had a tooth ache. Not only that, this hotel is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and quite proficient. Highly recommend.

Exceptional property with extremely friendly employees! Our room was comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Fresh, hot, flavorful, and as good as I have had.

Room was clean. Quick overnight stay, lots of food nearby open late.
Lights were fidgety in the room, but not an issue as we just came to sleep. Staff seems friendly and accommodating.

Very clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Typical continental breakfast but everything was warm and tasted good. Located right off the hiway and walking distance to a couple restaurants. We stayed there on our way to and on the way back from Texas. We definitely would stay there again.

This is Hilton property I'm accustomed to. The Hampton in Topeka is tucked away in a quiet, hidden neighborhood off of Wanamaker on Arrowhead. The outdoor is neat and clean and the area was definitely safe. Upon arriving I was greatest by Bruce. He was polite and professional. He made sure to let me know if I needed anything please inform them. My room was clean and even smelled fresh. O needed an ADA accessible room and the bathroom was perfect. I had a walk-in/roll-in shower as well as the higher toilet. I travel for work very often and have seen some Hilton properties that are not up to standard. This was not the case. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. The hostess were friendly and kept the food stocked as items got low. Breakfast choices were: scrambled and boiled eggs, polish/smoked sausage medallions, potatoes, scones, cereal and all the other items you would expect for breakfast. If I'm ever working in Topeka I hope my job takes me back to this Hampton.

Amazing facility, cleanliness, super comfortable beds, ultra clean without that nasty cleaner smell, staff that’s amazing and down to earth. Very welcoming! Even when we arrived very late. My kiddo can’t stop saying how nice this place is and I 110% agree. This will definitely be our stopping point traveling to and from family! Also, allows pets but you couldn’t tell. Amazingly clean. Pool and hot tub are beautiful and look like a day spa. My Dad and Stepmom will be staying here when they travel to visit. The staff has not been aggressive at all. In fact they are the kindest hotel staff I’ve encountered in several years. Love the Wall
Mounted hand lotion and bath products! The handicap accessible tub is perfect for my disable kiddo. The bench goes and locks up or can be used as shown. This place is a huge deal for the price and breakfast is good AND included.

Stayed here a couple of nights for work. While some of the room decor was dated as well as the shower the room was good for the price and the staff were friendly. The room was clean, spacious and the breakfast was hot. Would be happy to come here again.

Best Hampton I’ve stayed in for a long while. Spacious rooms super friendly staff and custodians and the best value I’ve gotten anywhere for a night stay. We ended up in a HCA room which while not needed was a nice bonus as it allowed the tot to roam. The room was clean and the baby foot test showed that the carpets weren’t too dirty. Breakfast was standard not super, but there timely and fresh.

When I go to visit my family, I always stay at the Hamilton Inn Hotel. I have (2) disable parents, and they Love a certain room to get around. I’ve always been able to get this Very Nice Room. Front the Front Desk, to Housekeeping, and their Breakfast, I don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. Everybody there are Nice, and on top of their positions. I recommend this hotel to anybody, that is taking a Vacation, specially with disable family, or kids. Hamilton Inn Employees, Thank You So Much!

My plans got bumped back a day and everything I had planned was in disarray, and I ended up calling 6 other hotels before this one trying to find a room for a single night. Nearly every other hotel's service was terrible and offered no help. Despite not having a room for me, this hotel's Service Desk was friendly, understanding and explained that there was an event in Topeka for the evening, gave me great advice for the area, and guided me in the right direction. This interaction was invaluable. I can't speak to the hotel, but if it is anything near the quality of their service desk then this place seems amazing.

The facility and our room were very nice, clean and quiet (we stayed on the top floor away from the elevators) even though there were several big events going on in town and the hotel had a lot of activity. We stayed two nights visiting family. After a long day, we came back to our room with unmade beds and used towels. I asked the front desk if there was a reason our room didn't have maid service. I was told we had to request it the day before as they are short staffed. It would have been nice if that had been mentioned when we checked in as I understand many businesses are short staffed at this time. We will definitely stay here again. It's a very nice facility with pleasant employees.

Very nice stay. Clean cool rooms and friendly helpful staff. Rooms also have magical pillows that are so comfortable that if you put you head on them the next thing you know it will be morning.

I would like to recognize Retta for her proactiveness and exceptional customer service. I had never been to the Midwest. I was traveling with my elderly parents. I spoke to Retta on a Thursday to book my rooms beginning the next day for 4 days due to a sudden death in the family. Retta called me on Friday because she saw another couple who booked reservations the same timeframe as myself. Our last names are different. She called to ask if I wanted my room next to my parents. That’s going above and beyond for great service. She booked me next to my parents. I was able to meet Retta on Saturday in person she was just as pleasant over the phone as in person. When I introduced myself she immediately remembered me. It’s rare to interact with someone so pleasant as well as being proactive with a smile. I had a great experience and it started from Retta. Thank you!!!

My dad and I stopped here along a roadtrip to Denver. Right off the interstate, near restaurants, room and bathroom were clean. Offered coffee and breakfast. The staff and everyone I encountered was kind. Can’t go wrong!

Really y nice hotel. They accomodate your wishes, they have soft water from use of water conditioner which makes your soap lather up so much better and rinses out of hair well. They also tend to your needs if something isn't working or you need more towels, etc. I have been staying at this particular hotel at least twice a very since Feb. 2021. I keep it in my contacts on my phone and that is high praise in my book!

Staff was top notch! Super friendly and helpful. Rooms were sparkling clean. Beds were very comfortable. Just two little annoyances... the rooms only had outlets on one side of the bed and had retrofitted usb ports which were very hard/ almost impossible to open (had to slide a cover open then hold it while trying to put usb in and there wasn't enough room to do both). I just used my adapter and my devices charged fine.

This hotel had a hot breakfast buffet available which was a nice surprise these days!

Reservation online was convenient. Check-in process with request for preferred side of building was appreciated. Room very clean and all items needed functioned appropriately. Breakfast selections were convenient and tasty. Check-out process was equally efficient. Uncertain as to why a larger than expected credit card charge was added and refunded, but also appreciated. Hope to use again in the future. Thank you.
