Plaza Inn Hotel

Needed to stop on our way home from KCMO to CO. We had been up all day and should have taken a nap before we left, but we didn’t. Found this on google maps and went. It was nice enough, because I do not do hotels/motels. I slept pretty soundly. The room was clean enough, I could smoke in the room and it was quiet. Both the nighttime attendant and day attendant were friendly. Paid with my credit card and made the $25 deposit. Best of all there were no bugs. Thank you Plaza Inn!

I checked into this motel at midnight last minute choice.
The staff is friendly and hospitable.
The room was clean and orderly.
I had no issues at all with my stay.
As a homeowner I am aware of how much work is involved keeping up with little tiny details. Signs of repair a little dab of paint here and there.
This motel is not new by any means but I feel a good effort has been made to maintain its integrity.
I would stay there again.

I’m a Canadian on a road trip across the USA.

My car needed some service; due to a backlog of parts and available mechanics off duty because of the Fourth of July, my car was a week in the shop.

The staff here are very pleasant and booked me a very quiet, comfortable, air conditioned room.

Room service was prompt and courteous.

I had a noisy neighbour who was off his medication making all sorts of noise in the wee hours; a phone call to front desk took care of that quickly.

Car was returned to me on a late afternoon, I stayed an extra night to ensure I got plenty of rest before continuing my road trip west.

If you are on a budget and just want the better of the basics:

- clean sheets and fluffy towels
- hot water and a shower
- soft, firm mattress
- quiet, provided no crazy neighbours off their meds

Great value for the money. Glad I stayed here.

The gentleman who works at the front desk is very polite and has been very helpful. He is always willing to take and answer any questions that you may have. They made me feel very welcomed my whole stay. The bed was very comfortable and really enjoyed my stay. It was very peaceful and quiet and was able to relax. I will admit that they can do better with cleaning their rooms and make it more presentable but other than that it was great. I will definitely be staying here again sometime.

Had to get a place big enough for 4. Surprised about the clean rooms, beds were comfortable, clean sheets and blankets. Pay what u get but expectations were exceeded, even with a smoking room. The owners are great and really care about their customers. Will come back if we need a future room

MOST AFFORDABLE, BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK BY FAR IN TOPEKA!! Room is clean & housekeeping is very good about keeping it that way. Management is very attentive as well as helpful and happy to answer any questions and address all concerns. The price cannot be beat anywhere in town!!!! Management does a wonderful job of keeping the unsavory clientel away and thus the property, quiet and peaceful. Absolutely recommend The Plaza Inn to everyone and if in need will stay here before we stay anywhere else.

Staff is very friendly, the rooms are large, clean and inexpensive. They have some smoking rooms which is fantastic. My family and I will be staying here again.

A warm and cozy place to stay. I have been staying here on so many visits, the staff recognize me and know me by name. I stay here during my Army Reserve Drill Weekend. I have been Drilling in Topeka for about 10 years.

Nice little motel $60 total for 3 people, 2 beds,it was quiet and the bed was comfortable,my only complaint is the ice machine wasn't working but I would DEFINITELY stay here again

The rooms arent perfect, but for their cost they offer a way better deal than the Super 8 nearby which STOLE MY DEPOSIT! DO NOT GO TO THE SUPER 8 NEARBY IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY!

They are doing renovations to the hotel. My stay was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend to others to stay here.

Great value. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed: fridge, microwave, laundry room, ice, and coffee in the lobby.

Ceiling real low, I be chilling though for real. Beds dummy comfortable, I be sleeping good cheers to the homie who was doing laundry outside

I'm here working an have been staying here for several months room is very nice an the owner an his Family are outstanding

It's old, worn, threadbare. But clean. No bugs, no drama, plenty hot water, micro. And fridge in room, and about 50.00 per night.

People were very nice and the rooms were clean and affordable.

Solid place, older feel but I felt safe bringing my family here.

I will be staying here again next time I am local.
