I love a good place to buy music instruments and this is a good place to do that. They carry a great selection of instruments and equipment.

They have an awesome selection of locally made drum sets.They treat their costumers with respect even if you don't know much about the equipment or instrument that you're interested in.

I love how much they are involved behind the scenes of the live music events happening in our city.

The staff is very helpful and sharing of their knowledge. They will inspire you to come back and continue your journey in the music arts.

Just stopped by to see the store as I haven't been there before and left with a new classical guitar. Absolutely fantastic place for guitars and drums, great brands, great selection of models, huge inventory, and knowledgeable staff. I wish I had come here LONG ago! Prices are great and the sheer selection means you WILL find what you are looking for, no need to go anywhere else!

This place has everything! I was buying a gift for a guitar player and I was inspired to start playing again after several years of not even picking up a guitar. Great store, great people.

We rented their PA system for a wedding reception. Kelly and the other folks at Supersonic Music couldn't have been nicer and easier to work with. And the rental price was a lot less than I was expecting!

What can I say? Great American music shop with an awesome staff. I dealt with Derek, RJ, and Kelly and they were all very friendly and helpful dudes that made an effort to accommodate my tight schedule. Do yourself a favor and buy here rather than online/Guitar Center, so you can support an awesome business, and get real service dealing with friendly guys who know their stuff. Thanks again guys!

The staff was super helpful and friendly. I brought my kids along, and unlike some stores, it was totally OK for them to jam on the keyboards and drum sets. There was a decent selection of everything we were looking for, from harmonicas to banjoleles to steel drums.

Cool people with knowledge to help get what you want and for a good price. The feeling is they're not there to make a dollar, they're there to help you do your art, making music, playing music or providing knowledge when buying sound system items for and event or a venue.

This is what every town needs. A place that feels locally owned, with knowledge to help out budding and professional musicians.

Very Friendly Customer Service. The owner was very Helpful and didn't push me into going for the most expensive Drum set but instead respected the budget I had. He has a a lot of beautifulIy made drum sets. I would Highly recommend going in there for any drum gear.

The only real music store in Topeka. Whether it's strings for a client, or our newest piece of studio gear, Supersonic Music is always our first stop. The staff is friendly and they know their products well. My favorite part is there's no pressure and no hounding like we've experienced at most music stores. They also offer lessons and instrument repair, so no matter what your musical need is they have you covered. Supersonic Music is a great company run by great people. Highly recommend them for all your gear needs.

Just want to send a giant shoutout to Kelly who took excellent care of me! I ordered a large, heavy keyboard and to no fault of Supersonic Music it was damaged by the carrier during shipment. I called Kelly (I live far from their store!) and he went into high gear and took care of me immediately. The time it took for him to issue me a credit was seamless. Often times it’s how a business fixes problems that they win my loyalty. Next time I need a Roland keyboard, the first person I’ll call will be Kelly!

Last Chance Band

Flick, my 80's USA HM Strat, sat for years after being worked on by another shop. A re-fret job gone horribly wrong and poor customer service after, I don't think those cats are around any more..... anywho, left him sitting. RJ Soldani took Flick in and made him whole again. I can't say thank you enough. I'm seriously tearing up over here.... Awesome, just awesome workmanship and service. I have never had a problem with anyone down at the shop and now I just want to hug you all! They are the George Lynch of shops!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The store staff are respectful and full of musical wisdom!!! The owner builds his own drumkits!!!! And RJ is a guitar wizard!!!!!

I get all my equipment from supersonic. Every now and then I pick up a guitar from somewhere else but RJ and his techs are the only ones that i have work on my guitars.

Best music shop anywhere nearby. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are willing to teach you and by no means over sell.

Great merchandise, atmosphere, and people. Easily the best music store in Topeka. Their drum selection is easily their most vast, but they are plentiful in other instruments as well.

I've been through some music stores that treated me like an ATM, so it came as a breath of fresh air when Supersonic treated me like a valued customer.

I ordered an amp, and various circumstances delayed it a couple months later than expected. I wasn't thrilled about the mishaps, but Supersonic gets five stars because of how they handled the delay. RJ was honest and apologetic when he learned my amp was going to be late, and he kept me updated and in the loop the whole time. He even offered me a free set-up and restring on my guitar (and did a marvelous job) and a few more freebies when the amp did finally arrive.

Sometimes things go wrong, but I was really impressed with Supersonic's good management of a bad situation. Any time I need service on any of my instruments, I'm going back.
