Courtyard by Marriott Topeka

We had the pleasure of visiting the Bistro inside the Courtyard Marriott in Topeka, Kansas, and were blown away by the exceptional service provided by Dom (short for Dominique). From the moment we arrived, she made us feel like we were right at home. Her warm and friendly demeanor was truly remarkable, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making our experience special.We were traveling with our beautiful dog, and Dom went out of her way to welcome all of us with open arms. Not only did she provide us with fantastic breakfast recommendations, but she also took the time to chat with us. The highlight of our visit was when she surprised us with a delicious fruit treat for our pup which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture.Dom’s hospitality and genuine care made our stay memorable. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like she did, and we are incredibly grateful for her outstanding service. If you're ever in Topeka and have the chance to visit the Bistro at the Courtyard Marriott, make sure to say hi to Dom. She truly made our day!Thank you, Dom, for your incredible kindness and for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing big rooms with wonderful staff. This hotel is the perfect location just off the interstate. There's all the restaurants surrounding the hotel, too, within walking distance.

For what my husband and I needed this was sufficient. We were staying 1 night on our way through a cross country roadtrip and got a King room on the ground floor. The lobby was inviting with plenty of seating, nice decor and the feeling that you're in a clean, nice hotel. Our rooms was nice (clean, inviting and comfortable). Keep in mind being on the ground level can be noisy. We ended up in a room next to the ice room which wasn't too bad - didn't keep us up or disturb us. There is extra security at the hotel; if you leave after a certain hour you'll need your room key to gain access to the hotel. Which was nice. It is right across from the mall and several restaurants if that's appealing to you.

This is in the best location in all of Topeka! Everything you need is like a 2 min walk. The hotel is super clean and just really nice all around. Definitely getting what you pay for here. Also a world class gym like iv never seen in a hotel at this level. Starbucks inside at the bar. Prices are good. Basically if your coming to Topeka this is the place. No pool tho.

The hotel is great, except there was no microwave in the room and there were no handles on the doors of the cabinet where the mini fridge was. It was tricky to even find the fridge. But the fitness area was nice, the hotel and rooms were clean, and there was a Starbucks in the lobby, but only for coffee drinks and some food items. No complimentary breakfast, either. You had to order any breakfast items and pay for them yourself. 😔

I stayed here on a road trip, I don't remember the woman's name that was working the night I checked in on Aug19th my birthday. But she was absolutely wonder probably one of the sweetest people I've ever meet working in a hotel. She was fantastic with everything we needed.
Rooms were spotless bathroom was spotless, the beds were definitely in the top 3 beds I've ever slept in. I travel alot so I've had better but I've had worse. But I'll probably be back.

Surprisingly nice room, neat and clean. Could use a bit more room lighting, but it's not too dim. HVAC worked well, nice and cold on a hot day with a western view/sun. Very pleasant staff, helpful and professional. Fridge with limited storage area, sitting chair and footrest, and a desk. Comfortable beds. Okay bathroom. Room looks like it was more recently updated since the furniture and decor matches most updated Courtyards I've recently stayed.

Got a great deal on a king room and found it was totally new with modern/contemporary furniture. I liked having the bed facing the window instead of the wall for a change. This unit had a walk in shower, no tub, with good water pressure and very high shower head. The flatscreen TV was on an articulating arm so you could watch from the couch or the bed, but the service they use is really slow switching between channels. Breakfast was not included and not cheap so take that into account. The location is next to a mall and busy road nearby.

I have stayed at the Marriott three different times in the past month for work. Each time the front desk has been professional and courteous. My rooms have all been clean and at a comfortable temperature. I will definitely use this Marriott again if I am in Topeka.

Wonderful professionals at the front desk, very helpful and accommodating to our wedding party. I can't say enough great things about their staff. The rooms were very modern and nicely appointed with all the technological amenities you wish other hotels had. I was even able to pair my phone to the TV and use my personal YouTube and Netflix accounts. at the end of our day it was a simple procedure to clear our credentials from the television and roll on down the road. Next time I go to Topeka I will definitely get a room here. It's also within walking distance to a wonderful red lobster restaurant.

The fitness center is great! I've included pictures. Although, it was unclear how to clean for the next user, etc.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a good conversation with the manager when I checked out about how my future stays at this location will look including plans to reopen their bistro, daily linen service, and having more options for breakfast.

They are still under Covid service but I found that towels, etc. can be requested through the Bonvoy app. Breakfast is still grab and go. When I went to the front desk to request a microwave (I stayed here for 9 nights), I was told that it was not an amenity that this chain offers but it is available upon request. It was in my room by the time I got back from my meeting. I have already made my next reservation and pre-requested a microwave.

The location is great. Many restaurants and stores are within walking distance even.

We got in late from the road and we were delighted by our welcome and even more pleased with our accommodations! While a quick visit, it was one that left us rested and ready to go!

Sorry people I didn't get a chance to take photos. Mainly because I drove 900 miles and I was super hungry and decided to go get food

It's not the Ritz. It's Topeka, after all. Efficient check in. Clean comfortable room. Nice shampoo (and shower gel in environmentally responsible containers). The elevator is slow. The breakfast was tasty and the people who serve it were friendly and pleasant.

I'll stay here next time I'm in Topeka.

Being a rewards member has its perks..had a nice upgrade on the room. All the rooms have been updated and looked nice. Check in was smooth, great rates. Staff is very attentive.

Fully modernized hotel, very smart integrated. Bathroom and bedroom detailing was very very modern. Must have had a recent major renovations. Was very pleasant. Service was very courteous and professional. Stayed Jan. 2021, was a good nights sleep.

Great hotel that had recently been renovated! Gym is still under construction but they offer Colaw vouchers if they have them. No breakfast buffet but the menu is good at the little cafe in the lobby. Free bottled water!

Very Happy. The room was very clean. The bed was vas comfortable. Soft beut supportive. The pillows were great.
The staff is super nice and helpful.

The staff and location is fantastic! They no longer have a pool at all, but that wasn't a problem for us. They also charge $10 a night for parking now, but we got a good enough rate that we didn't mind paying it. There's a bunch of restaurants and a mall nearby.
