Leavenworth Landing Park

Great park on the water! Those tracks are still fully functional! Freight train goes by multiple times daily. Keep your dog on its leash. Enjoy the peace of the water. Bathrooms available.

Great little park. Nice walking trail, scenic River views, rail way ring through it so you can watch trains go by. Connects to a walking trail up a tributary to the river. Also just up the street is a historical self guided walking tour -Also by the river. If you get thirsty, there are bars nearby. (Or hungry)

The park was clean, easily accessible, and beautiful. By the river with a cool breeze off the water, was nice on a hot day

Great little riverside park to go for walk or just enjoy the outside. Only downside is the train comes through often and can be a little bit loud.

Beautiful. Most of the paths are closed because of the flooding they had. Still very lovely little walk

Beautiful city park explaining the history of Leavenworth. A neat stop in eastern Kansas off the beaten path of KC.

I walk along the river here. It's calming until the train goes by. There are loft apartments and it seems that they address trying to appeal to younger people. I see people walking dogs everyday, people playing pokemon, and people just trying to sit and enjoy the quiet. It's scenic, but it doesn't connect to the Esplanade walk. There isnt a playground, which I like, it's a grownup park. I'm always here during the day so I'm not sure what it's like after dark, but I'm comfortable walking here, close to the carousel and community center.

Really great for a walk or just sitting on a bench to enjoy the view and nature. We've seen a bald eagle swoop down and catch a fish. On another occasion, we saw a beaver. It is a very well maintained park.

Nice park, seems almost hidden. Good views of the river. Nice walk along the river and up the creek. Restful. Right in the heart of the historic district.

It was a lovely day today and you can clearly see parts of the Landing are under water.

Excellent for a nice relaxing walk, fun for my son seeing the train, and pokemon galore!

My family and I enjoy walking and riding our bikes along the trail. A great place to stop and take pictures or just sit on the benches and enjoy the beauty it holds here. Stop and watching river as it flows by.

Great place to see the "Mighty Mo", watch trains and explore:) its always a fun time coming down here by myself or with the kiddo, looking for fish in the stream leading to the river or just enjoying the trail. This is most definitely something that makes Leavenworth set apart from the rest :) There have been so many Bald Eagles down at the river this year...LOVE THAT!!

Great place to park to see parade.

One of the best choices our city has made. A wonderful park and the other attractions around it are wonderful take the whole day and visit the park swim at the Community center and see all the little mom and pops shops the area offers.
