Black Dog Coffeehouse

I found this cute coffee shop while in town visiting my daughter. The avacado toast with an over-medium egg was fantastic!! The cinnamon roll latte was delicious! Excellent service and a great atmosphere-I will definately be back!

We have wanted to try Ibis Bakery for some time. Once I found out that Black Dog was connected, we went! The coffee was great. I had a honey and lavender latte. We also had an almond Croissant and a Pan au chocolate Croissant. The almond Croissant was the best one I've ever had! We also grabbed a Cheese Slipper loaf for later.

Awesome little spot for breakfast and coffee. The atmosphere is chill and the service is stellar. The facility is imaginative and immaculate. Everything was clean. The lines at times look intimidating but the staff work at rocket speed. It moves really efficiently.

This place has great coffee and their seasonal menu items (sweet potato latte) are pretty innovative as well. Lot of space to sit and work. Great service and good vibe

Good coffee and food choices. We did t try the cranberry toast and it is good , Avocado toast was good , chicken salad sandwich was good. The Ibis bakery almond croissant is always my favorite. The chocolate croissant is good but I wished they warmed it.

This cafe is easily one of the best in the Kansas City area. The food, coffee and staff are all great. The most recent time I came in Tyler, the one who took my order was very accommodating of my garlic intolerance and helped to get a food item that didn't have any garlic in it(I had ordered the avocado toast and had forgotten to ask so it was replaced with another item). The pour over coffees are also always amazing and change quite frequently. Anyways, it's always a pleasant experience, I would highly recommend the place.

Good food... mocha was excellent, matcha gree tea too. Wife liked the egg nog latte. They were hand crafted not like the big chain coffee shops.

With Ibis Bakery right there in the restaurant, you know you’re going to get an excellent selection of pastries and other baked goods. I got a goat cheese bear claw, which was croissant flaky, savory and delicious. For a beverage I got a chai, which was typical, tasty and served dine-in warm.

The folks behind the counter were friendly, helpful and efficient. Which was a good thing, because the place was beyond crowded. We ended up stuck sitting outside at a table on an oddly slanting part of the sidewalk. But the quality of the food more than made up for the odd seating arrangement.

Fun yet relaxing coffee shop in Lenexa that offers more than just coffee! This coffee shop also serves Ibis Bakery goods: mouthwatering croissants, pastries, cookies, and more. I ordered the drip coffee while working. The staff is friendly when you ask for your coffee to be filled up a bit/warmed! I also ordered the Ruben Sandwich & the Soup of the Day for lunch…amazing! Black Dog Coffeehouse is a fantastic spot to work remote because there is plenty of seating and coffee/food options to keep you full & happy!

The lines are long but seem to go fast. I was there at 9:00 am. Tried Avacado Toast for the first time and it was delicious! The Vanilla Sky Iced Latte was also good.

One of my favorite ☕ shops in the greater KC metro area. Rich, flavorful and nutty coffee for the house blend. Plenty of coffee drinks for everyone. Quaint setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Offers breakfast and lunch items. Go today and shop local! 🙂

Love the relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee had the hot snickers latte. The cold is just as good, if not better. also an amazing puff pastry called a palmeir, i believe.

Fantastic coffee, the specialty drinks are definitely fun and creative and actually taste good. There's a nice atmosphere with little nooks and more private spaces to sit if you want something less in the middle of everything. Even in the main seating areas it's nothing overwhelming, just a pleasant busy coffee-shop vibe. The bakery goods are provided by Ibis bakery (on-site bakery as well) so you really can't go wrong with something to eat – I'll always recommend their classic and almond croissants. I had the coffee cake this time and it was the perfect bite to go with my mocha.

The coffee here is excellent! I live up North and work downtown so I don't have any purpose in being in this area but I will stop here anytime I am visiting JoCo. They have plentiful tables on the sidewalk, they are really doing a good job of social distancing, and they were cleaning constantly the whole time I was in there to get a to-go coffee. Customer service was great. They have accessible parking and entry.

Great coffee and even better baked goods! Came here to relax, enjoy some coffee, and eat some delicious food. This place does not disappoint! It was very busy, but I didn't let that ruin first time here. I will definitely be coming back to try something new. So many choices! The breakfast burrito was delicious!

I had been here once about a decade ago and really enjoyed the atmosphere and my coffee. I was NEEDING a coffee and wanted to support local and remembered this place. I'm so glad I made it back! The cashier was friendly, the restroom was clean, and the barista was quick and personable. I will be back more often!!!

Definitely one of my favorite coffeehouse in the KC metro. Great seating flexibility, friendly staff and diverse lovely menu items.
My favorite drink is the vanilla sky latte, I also love their chocolate milk latte made with milk from a local dairy farm, I'm blanking on the drink name atm.
Indoor and outdoor seating available. As well as cafe tables, high tops and couches indoor.
Parking is readily available.

We ordered a chai latte, dirty chai latte, Club Sandwhich, and Sunrise Sandwhich. All of it was excellent, and the food was very flavorful. Definitely recommend it. All the bread for the sandwiches are made in house and it all tastes great.

And they have an amazing bread!! This is our spot every week!! They’re very friendly and their chai Kate cold is amazing!!!! And the goat cheese croissant and the walnut cranberry toast; are our favs 🙌🏼 You have to come and they have treats for your dogs 🧡
