Imo's Pizza

Came in with my son today to grab some lunch and I'm so glad we did! Ordered 2 pizzas, pepperoni & black olive and a sausage and green pepper. Both were awesome!! The crust was perfectly cooked and the ingredients all tasted as fresh as I've ever had on a pizza. We also tried an order of the bone in buffalo wings and just like the pizza, they were perfectly cooked!! Nice and crisp, but still moist and flavorful! The staff were super friendly and service was a lot faster than expected! All the food was out on our table within about 10 minutes. I love the feel of the restaurant as you walk in! Very inviting. Very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere! I had Imo's one time at the original St. Louis location a long time ago and everything was just as good today as it was back then! We will definitely be back!!

This is our stand by local neighborhood pizza restaurant in OP on 135th and Quivera Shopping Center! Always fresh hot thin crust pizza with cheesy garlic bread … our favorite combo!! Great fast and speedy service too! Heard this place was started by the owners: Ed and Margie Imo in 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri! A job well done folks! Congratulations on your great restaurant and longevity !!

Food was delicious, well priced. Atmosphere is incredible, it is like an old school pizzeria. I love it. There are many choices to choose from, great place for family and kids. It's quiet and in the corner, there isn't a really big sign so it's more of a -you have to know it there- place. You can place a pick up order, id youd like. I am most definitely coming back here.

I’m originally from St. Louis area and getting to get imos some what close to home now is amazing. Love love love this place. Service is amazing and food is even better

Food is great and service was fast and friendly. Restaurant is clean. I got the meats pizza, toasted ravioli and Wings. All delicious

Their pizza is fresh, great and they gave me a free pizza mini pizza box! I recommend the bbq chicken flavor because it reminds me of when the chicken was alive! I’m vegan, and I eat meat so this is a great place to go for a treat. Their tables smell like the freshest of Parmesan, and their bathroom was nice. 10/10. (P.S, shout-out to their employee Jimmy Tipper Tapper Pitter Patter McGee III)

Pros:
(1) Flavorful pizza (especially the sauce - it’s sort of a mix between red sauce and alfredo sauce)
(2) Ample seating area

Cons:
(1) Thin crust pizza
(2) Slightly gristly sausage

(-) We’re thick crust pizza in general, but we stopped here for a change of pace. The flavors present on our pizza made up for the pizza being thin crust

I appreciate that the store workers seemed genuinely nice and cared about my experience. Clearly not disgruntled like other lunch spots. If you know IMO’s, you know what you’re getting. Pizza on a cracker, basically. This post is not a debate on whether or not it counts as pizza. I thought the store was clean and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience and I ate all my pizza. Thumbs up.

I grew up in saint Louis and am so blessed they have IMOS in Kansas City. Thank you for cutting my childhood cravings and for the nostalgia and good memories of such a great pizza place! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Love Imo’s! I’ve been going to this amazing pizza place since I can remember. My favorite is their Ravioli’s and their Cheese bites!! Definitely recommend coming to Imo’s.

Just had a great dinner at this local pizza joint! The pizza was delicious with a perfect crispy crust and generous toppings. The variety of options on the menu is excellent, catering to different tastes. The staff were friendly and provided quick service. My only slight complaint is that the restaurant was a bit noisy, but overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Definitely a spot I'll visit again if I'm in town.

A St. Louis girl must love Imos, and this one of two location's in KC, and it's a good one! Online deals and outdoor seating is a plus!

I am sad to say that this pizza place only is available in St. Louis and the one where we ate in Missouri near Kansas City. It was clean and friendly and the pizza was amazingly good if you like thin crust. The sauce was yummy and the cheese different yet good. It's a must try if you anywhere near one.

Fabulous thin crispy crust right out of the oven, square cut and topped with that delicious melted provel cheese. Perfection. Always stop here when visiting. Reminds me of my home town StL.

We love this place. The atmosphere is super inviting, the staff is great, and of course the food…not to mention the fact that the short manager is super friendly!
If you’re not making pizza at home, this is the only place to go.
