Delicious..I actually ordered the homemade potato chips..Wow! They were thin and crispy..and the chicken phillly was delicious!! And the bartender/Server was amazing! Thank you Carrie!

The BEST soft pretzel I have ever had. Staff is always super friendly and attentive. Sometimes some of the other guests can be questionable but other than that it is always a great experience especially with the food.

Went to the Bullpen yesterday for the first day of March Madness. I was blown away. The food and service were outstanding! I was with a group of 10 and between all of us we ordered most everything on the menu and not a single thing disappointed. I especially enjoyed the bang bang shrimp po-boy.
Our server Beth was remarkable! She handled the entire bar by herself and we never wondered “where is our server”? She was able split our checks with ease and was just freaking awesome!

Will definitely be going back.

The food here was excellent! We sat at the bar, so the service was quick as well. As far as the place, it's a bar & and grille, nothing fancy. It was clean, and for the most part, people were polite.

However, you can tell it is a place that people from the area frequent often as it tends to be a "clique" type of group.

We often frequent this bar, but last night in particular I was impressed with Sarah. She had 3 deep at the bar and handled all of the customers with ease. She even served tables in the main area. She is quick, efficient, and always kind! She made a full bar look easy which is an incredibly difficult task.

Visited The Bullpen recently during the day on a Saturday with a large group. Service was quick and kind. The food was delicious — I had the sliders and fries. Absolutely delicious fries and burgers were so tasty! Plenty of TV and noise level was at a considerate level. We brought our 2 year old and he did well in a booth. The new owners are making smart changes to the place! Will be back soon!

Had the new protein bowl and was surprise how good it was! The chicken had a great grill flavor, the veggies were perfectly cooked.and crispy and the teriyaki sauce had the ideal amount of spice. Very well balanced flavors. Service was great. Will be back

This was my first time at the Bullpen and I was pleasantly surprised regarding the menu, quality of food, and cleanliness of the restaurant. The TVs were set up in a way anywhere you sat you saw the game you were hoping for and were able to hear everything. I will definitely be back!

Tacos! I was pleasantly pleased, to say the least, wasn't expecting what I got from a place called The Bullpen, but their tacos were really good. I've eaten there twice now for lunch, that's why I can't say much about the atmosphere. But the service is always fast and friendly.

Oh my goodness the food is so good! I have ate here a few times and tried different things. All has been so good. The owners are out at your service to make your experience that much better.

Nothing is frozen! Everything is made to order. Meat quality is great and fresh vegetables is always a plus.

Owners are very friendly and welcoming including the staff.
Highly recommended place to watch sporting events and have great food and beer with cheerful staff.

Love the new menu! Grand Slam burger is amazing and they have the best fried pickles. Servers on top of orders and quick to refill when needed. Game Day perfect to watch!!

Great bar, just the kind of atmosphere you want after a long day at work. Try the Bullpen Bites, they are YUMMY! Like nothing you've had anywhere else. The owners seem nice and I've always felt welcome!

Food was excellent. Caribbean jerk wings were perfection. Wife had the steak and found it to be flavorful and tender. Fries were crispy on the outside and they cooked our broccoli to order. Getting it right the first time is the way to get my business and Darin and his team did just that. Great food and a great place to catch the game. We'll definitely be back.

Must be the best mostly well kept secret and underrated bar-pub-grill I have encountered in a lifetime of Kansas City nights out. Food (I have ordered bot Greek and Caesar salads with grilled chicken as well as ordering grilled chicken sandwiches and hamburgers for takeout). has been uniformly excellent - fresh, properly prepared to order, and brought to table in more than reasonable time. Drinks kept refilled. Best of all, considering location and nature of other competitor businesses in that part of south Overland Park - never overly crowded. Wait staff (in particular I have had Lydia as a waitress three times) courteous and properly attentive based on what you indicate you prefer. Really great place to watch a sporting event.

Amazing! Accommodated for a large group with ease. Do not sleep on the bang bang shrimp. Those are amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

My family and I wanted to eat at a place we've never been to. We decided on The Bullpen and we were not disappointed! The food was great! My husband and I had the pork tenderloin sandwich which was one of the best we've had anywhere! The onion rings, fries, and the pretzel were just as good! Definitely be going back!

Want to give a special shout out to Alex or server. Top notch customer service and always super friendly. One of the best servers I've ever had. Keep up the great work girl!!

Every time I have eaten here the food has been great. The atmosphere is welcoming, it’s a family friendly bar where you get excellent service!
