Holiday Inn & Suites Overland Park-West, an IHG Hotel

Kelly at the front desk is everything. She is kind professional and knowledgeable. I am in the travel industry and this by far was one of the best experiences with hotel staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Air conditioners is a bit loud and breakfast buffet pricing is high. But the hospitality and rooms are great.

The best decision I could make was to stay with my family in this hotel, the attention of the manager and the people at the reception were super professional. I was there for a week with my family and everything was super good. The cleaning team was super professional. Everything was good. The breakfast at the hotel. Super delicious hotel restaurant. I recommend this excellent hotel. The prices are super affordable.

Well let me begin with Christian,He was very friendly and helpful.when I booked my reservation.answer all my questions and concerns I had. not to mention he also made sure I got the right room I had ask for.Then he helped me with my Wifi on my laptop.then there's Heather, another great friendly person,which I believe she's the GM.she help me get to a nearby bank so I can add $ to my card. being that I had cash only . 😂. Then once I return back from getting that done,There he was again,Christian.who had me all set up .ask Sandra from housekeeping to take me to my room whom was very friendly and kind .my room was #611 . overall I Highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.I think Christian should get a big raise or bonus if you ask me.Thank you to all the staff for making my stay a wonderful stay..I will definitely be making this my #1 hotel if I ever should need it.Again One very very satisfied customer..wirh a staff like Christian,and a great person like Heather, who i think she was the GM .she also assisted me and greeted me with a nice friendly smile thank you all great service and hospitality at the holiday inn on Reeder Street. Evelyn is an angel in disguise, I wrecked my car not too far from the hotel. Evelyn got me a room that same morning and I ended up staying for a few days until I was able to retrieve my belongings from my car.

Angie was really nice too, Angie allowed me to do a later checkout. Sign up to be a rewards member because it’s worth it!

Kelly is so friendly and was very helpful during my stay!

Marco helped me find some nearby stores that I needed to get something’s from, Marco also helped me with my luggage during my checkout!

I also met the general manager the day of my checkout, all of the hotel staff goes above and beyond to help make your stay a memorable experience!!

I gave it a four because in the room when the air conditioner came on it was loud. And the people upstairs may have had children because there was a lot of stomping and running. Other than that the room was clean, the bed slept very well. The breakfast you have to pay $16.00 per person per day. It was a very good breakfast. Oatmeal, two eggs, toast, two sausage patties, country potato. The menu is a very good selection. The location is not far from great places to eat and shopping.

Good location, great outdoor pool, really nice restaurant on site, and not excessively priced like so many hotels these days. Good hotel and a great value.

The room was very nice for the price. The bathroom sink had a crack but the rest of the room was good. The coffee maker in the room didn't work either but there was coffee in the lobby in the morning. The cook didn't show up in the morning so no breakfast that I paid for. But I expressed my concerns to the manager and she did call me and refunded my breakfast. The location is great -- right by I35 and the hotel is going under renovations. I would give it another try because of the location and the price. Thanks

This is a nice clean place with a friendly staff. The price for our suite was very affordable for a big and nice as it was. This will always be the place I stay when in town from now on.

I would give this place 10 stars on service alone. The overnight front desk person (for the love of me I can’t think of his name) has saved me many times finding me a room on last minute business trips. He is always quick, courteous and just an awesome person. I have traveled for almost 14 years, hands down one of the best people to deal with.

Spent 5 nights here for work. Rooms and hotel were very nice, pool was like bathwater and the hot tub was hot but only had 2 working jets but still very nice! Room had a micro fridge and microwave and also had a kurig coffee maker. Not sure if they gave u more free cups or not since I bought my own flavor. The bed was comfortable, and shower was nice. The ac vents were also clean and not full of dust which was a nice surprise! I didn't eat at the green mill so can't comment on that but it smelt good in the mornings. I did not get house keeping while I was there but I went to the front desk and was able to get more stuff. Definitely a nice hotel, just not much around it!

Had a great stay. This hotel has easy access to freeways, restaurants, gas stations, and shopping. Just about everything is close by. I did have a door key issue a few times, but the staff at the front desk was very helpful. They did not have free breakfast, but offer a breakfast buffet at the restaurant downstairs for a price. I didn't use the pool because its outside, but it did look clean and refreshing.

My family and I had an amazing experience! We stayed in the suites and it was great! Plenty of space and lights with a good view. Everything was great except the computer system they have. I paid every morning and the machine said on my last day I needed to pay for 2 nights but I showed the front desk my records and they completely understood. Once I left the holiday Inn tried to charge me through Expedia and I denied it. I am very precise with my numbers and money so I know it wasn't on my end. The staff are great but watch your account when your staying there just to be safe. Other than that it's great.

Great location! Easy access to i35 and shopping areas. Hotel staff was extremely friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Night manager called about 20 minutes after our check in to make sure everything was up to par. Nice touch. Our room was on the same side as the interstate but that did not seem to be an issue as it remained pretty quite. The only small complaint we might have is that the shower did not drain well. Otherwise no issues at all.

With a big dog, it's hard for us to find quality hotels that don't have a ton of restrictions, but we were moving across country and had to drive with her. This Holiday Inn & Suites was not only accommodating of our dog, but also gave us a 1st floor room right off an entrance as her old age makes long walks very difficult. The staff was kind and hospitable, the room was clean and well stocked, and the location was very easy to find! Excellent experience overall!

This hotel has a nice bar. Try the mojito.

I've had the opportunity for a longer stay at this hotel. Every day, I see how hard the staff works to make everything easier for the guest and to exceed expectations. Heather, the GM, the front desk staff, the maintenance and housekeeping team are ALL (yes, every single one of them without fail) attentive, thoughtful, conversational and competent. The rooms are spacious, the towels are soft and it's quiet when I am working or sleeping. Vacation or staycation, it's a five star choice!

Wow what a nice hotel everything is you expect you'll never find a hand dryer in a nice hotel such as this or a freaking coffee pot where's the coffee pot? Any nice hotels supposed to have a coffee pot or refreshments that you can get to because travelers are weary! It was a very nice Mystic Fair I loved everything and everybody beautiful and I expect to go again! And Holiday inn welcome to the open arms and I'm very glad to have been there such a nice beautiful building and the Staff funny, receptive and incredible!

I had a sweet 16 Birthday party for my girls on April 30th.. I had been looking and planning for a venue for months, when I feel lucky that I gave Holiday Inn and Suites of OP a call.. I was feeling really worried about the look and experience of this magic moment. Every hall was booked or crazily priced. Setup break down time lump into venue time. And food and service to all be handle and paid for by myself. This Hotel sales staff member Dallas.. was like a fairy Godmother!
I got the Sunset Room (formerly Manhattan's early 90s reference) great room with lots of space facing the Sunset for $1700.. That included $1200 Dollars of food and drink, suite, and all day access because of scheduling to decorate. All the dishes and glasses, table cloths, center pieces were included. All I had to do was decorate. The manager that evening was very accommodating, he worked hard to get me a extra room on a very busy evening. The front desk attendant was truly joyful and polite during tour and checkout. The $500 dollars of service fees and taxes seems minor after the 3 employees assigned to our party performed so great! The food and beverage that I picked out went over very well. Just a great experience all the way around. Thank You Holiday Inn and Suites of Overland Park for helping us make a forever lasting Memory!!

Very nice...I booked on priceline and saved money. My room had 2 queen sized beds and big TV, microwave, small refrigerator, and wall mounted thermostat for A/c. Clean and friendly and they just resurfaced their parking lot. It was quiet and not too busy.

The hotel itself is gorge The hotel stuff is beautiful have no complaints on the room or anything about it my niece is participating in a beauty pageant currently at this hotel. I am a palled at the employees here though my niece had a door slammed on her back and I did not hear an apology from the employee who is cleaning the public restrooms my nieces back is all bruised up I put a complaint with the management who then apologized for the ladies actions they should send whoever is not happy working home for the day due to lack of energy! After a four night stay I hope the hotel will appreciate our service as clients and offer a sincere apology!
