Drury Inn & Suites Kansas City Overland Park

Hard to believe this hotel has only a 3 star rating. The facilities overall were excellent, the staff was friendly and accommodating the rooms were as nice as any I've seen. This was far nicer than the Holiday Inns I usually stay at. They had a secure parking garage that only guest could access. When checking in I was told that not only did they have a full free breakfast but a dinner as well. It was street tacos tonight. We were also given cards for 3 free adult drinks each for each day of our stay. And I only paid $125 a night. WHAT A DEAL! I've stayed in hotels all over and this one tops it!

Miss Claudia at the front desk was amazing. She was very polite and made us feel welcomed. This was our 1st time staying at the Drury Hotel and we definitely enjoyed it. The rooms were clean. The location of the hotel was perfect. We enjoyed the free breakfast, dinner and free drinks. The gym equipment in the exercise room was high quality which is a plus for me. I felt like I was working out in a real gym. I loved the amazing view from the the garage parking lot

As a part of 4, we came in just before midnight after a 12 hour day of drive time. At the front desk, Eli informed me that the room we had reserved needed some unforeseen maintenance to be performed. He quickly gave me the best option available and was able to make adjustments so our entire party were able to sleep in a room together.

Eli was a breath of fresh air to our long day and a reason I will continue to seek out Drury Inn & Suites when I am in need of a place to rest while away from home.

Also, all other staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this location if you are in the area.

FYI they are pet friendly and their rates are easily available for your furry friend on their website. At the time it was $50/night.

We LOVE the Drury. This was our second time staying here visiting KC. It helps so much with vacation spending with the included breakfast and the food at dinner and the drinks at dinner! All 4 of of us never had to buy breakfast or dinner(or drinks!) while we stayed there. I am vegetarian and so free dinners like this usually don’t work for me but it was great. They had tacos one night with beans and a veggie soup one night and mac and cheese another night. Kids were happy and so was I. It was enough food for my husband too. Their drinks are delicious and there’s a lot of choices. It’s not just beer and wine. We spent a lot of time in the pool it was a decent pool and hot tub. It was closed the first night we were there so we were bummed but someone had an accident so it was not preventable. Highly recommend this hotel.

To give one piece of advice would be wary of some of the pool tile being slippery closest to the pool. I didn’t want to score down from the pool because it was otherwise well maintained.

The people who work here are AMAZING. Everyone is kind, caring, attentive, and outgoing. They're even kind to one another! The place is clean. It's nice to sit in the lobby...lots of comfortable seating. Food and drinks are a great perk. So happy we decided to try Drury.

Stayed a weekend and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast buffet was well taken care of and had a nice variety of breakfast items. Coffee, juice, water, tea and soda pop available. You can also eat a light meal there and have a few drinks.
Indoor/Outdoor pool and small hot tub. Workout room also available!
Keep your key card to be able to get in and out of parking garage.

We really enjoyed our recent stay here. Our room was very big and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast and dinner was a great perk that my family enjoyed as well. For the price its a great choice.

This calendar year, we have stayed at this location 25 nights. There are so many good things about this place for people on business or families. The best is the staff. It is home away from home.

This hotel was top notch! Very best choice! Friendly staff, seamless check in and room location. Easy parking close to our room with a silent butler waiting. The room was in pristine condition! Totally spotless! The pool and hot tub were clean, warm, and relaxing!!!!! The free food for dinner and breakfast was great! I appreciate this hotel’s consistency!!!! Claudia was very helpful and professional during my stay. She went out of her way to explain way to explain the history of the hotel and signed me up for a membership. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. I travel for business and I plan on making this hotel my go to for now on

This hotel is amazing. We came to town for my mother-in-law's heart surgery they were very accommodating and getting us into a room well before I know any check-ins are usually welcome at hotels they were just super sweet the breakfast is awesome that 5:00 kick back that they do is another amazing deal I will stay here again every time we come to overland Park

For a large chain hotel, we were incredibly taken aback at how friendly every single staff member was. From the front desk to cocktail hour crew, the folks keeping the breakfast bar stocked and clean to the folks cleaning rooms, and everyone in between. Everyone had a sweet smile and acted like they wanted us there. We can only guess that they must have a very healthy culture there end employees reflect it! Thanks so much everyone!

We were in town to have a baby and needed a room for the night (our non-medical induction had to be postponed, due to the amount of people activly birthing.) This hotel was the right decision. ALL STAFF were pleasant and kind. The rooms were clean and there was a workout room and pool room(half outdoors and half indoors). When choosing this hotel we did not want to be fighting off weirdos and bugs at a low-end hotel. We needed peace and kindness for the baby and momma. The staff were singing and joyful to be serving. I also witnessed management interacting with employees. Manangement was kind and thankful to employees for staying abit extra. She was on point, cleaning wet spots in the hall left by those from the pool. I'm writing this as we just had baby and need a hotel for 1 more night. I know where I'm going;) I hope this helped you choose a good hotel, this is my hope for anyone looking for a hotel. A clean hotel, caring service, and lots of perks. Editing to add our experience for our second night stay. We came in just after 10pm, and had to be buzzed in to check in. The gentleman who checked us in was so excited for us and couldn't believe we had been there the night before, left at 11am and came back 12 hours later with a baby (who was 7 hours old). They allowed us a late check out and were very accommodating. He took our baby's name and the next morning we woke up to a little towel cake stuffed with candies and a card congratulating us. The lady who checked us out was the same one from the prior morning and she was also excited to see our baby after hearing we were going to go have a baby the morning prior. It was only a few miles from the birthing center we went to and just a wonderful place. We can't thank them enough for the memorable experience and kindness they showed us. Will definitely look for Drury hotels whenever we need a hotel stay in the future.

My family stayed here for the second time last week. First time was great, so we decided to return on our vacation this year. My son left his gaming case with all his games inside our room and the staff was quick on checking, finding, and getting our stuff shipped to us when we returned home! They even found my other son’s stuffed Pokémon that I didn’t realize he even left and thought he’d lost! They truly went above and beyond! The staff is always wonderful!

I am a cancer patient at KU med center. Every three months I see my Cancer Specialist. I am from out of town so we stay the night for my next day treatments. Drury Inn has always accommodated us and any of our needs. All of the staff are pleasant, and seem to enjoy their jobs. The Five O’Clock Kickback is perfect for us the food is always tasty. The Inn is always clean, and there is plenty of parking, and it is safe. Rooms are always clean and very comfortable. If I could give it more stars I would. We have been coming here for three years. Thank you for taking care of us.

This hotel is a pleasant surprise. The staff is so kind and very friendly. Breakfast and dinner are provided with a bonus of 3 adult drinks every evening. The rooms are efficient and clean. The pool and hot tub area has plenty of seating and fresh towels. This place would be great for family reunions as there are plenty of areas for groups to sit and chat. The decor is updated, clean, and sophisticated. The ONLY drawback is the noise from the highway. Pack a sound machine.

This is our first stay at this particular hotel, but it was a great one!
The best thing about #DruryInn&Suites is the included amenities -- dinner and drinks in the evening, a great indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub, and a huge breakfast buffet in the morning.
This hotel is next to the interstate and in the city, so there were a lot of city noises. The walls also seem quite thin, as you could often hear the neighbors. The pipes were knocking all morning when people woke to shower, which isn't ideal if you want to sleep in late.
Overall, it was very clean, the hospitality staff was engaging and fun, generally caring to ask how you were and we got to share several "inside" jokes with these strangers! How often do you get that experience? #KansasCityHotel #OverlandPark #Drury

Brad at the front desk was SUPER helpful from start to finish! His recommendation for local pizza was DELICIOUS, and they delivered it to my room! Minsky's Pizza was SO good! The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice free breakfast in the morning, but they couldn't top that pizza!

Fantastic hotel!!! I had a hard time looking for a hotel that would allow guests under 21, as my boyfriend and I are 20. Drury was a life saver in this case! This hotel is in a nice area, with tons of food options not only near the hotel, but also inside the hotel. A free breakfast buffet PLUS a free dinner option. Not only was the room beautifully clean when we arrived, but the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. Justin in particular had us cracking up during the check in process. Thank you Drury hotels for giving us a place to stay, it was nice not staying in a motel for our anniversary! I will be back again.
