Sis' Sweets

What a lovely bakery! I was in town helping my cousin get ready to move and she recommended Sis' Sweets. Cookies galore! And delicious every one. I got a sampler to take back for all the kids. We had a great time trying all the cookies. They decorate with the historical township in mind perfect since they are right across from the hay market. There are actual hand carved carousel figures on the wall. I learned so much about the history of Leavenworth while visiting there. It sounds like there is a working carousel just a few blocks away and that area was the largest maker of carousel figures at one point. They were also getting ready for a cookie decorating with Santa the next day. I loved that they were so involved with the community. If I was to move to Leavenworth someday. This is where I'd want to work. Thank you again for the lovely visit.

I would note that coffee isn't readily available. But they gladly brewed me a fresh pot. 🙂 I truly enjoyed my stop here at Sis' Sweets.

Love coming for lunch. You get a complementary treat with every meal. The cookies are amazing. My favorite is the sugar cookie with cookie dough and chocolate drizzled on top. Small business in Leavenworth Kansas never tasted so good. What a great little bakery shop specializing in cookies, brownies and cake. Everything we bought was very good. The peanut butter sheet cake was my favorite.

We tried quite a few treats from here today and everything is so yummy. I’m currently snacking on something hours later and it’s so fresh and soft.

Always a delight and delicious. Dawn Monroe only uses the best ingredients and her cookies are wonderful! The cafe is decorated with nostalgic accessories. It is charming!

Even yesterday’s best at Sis’ Sweets are incommensurable!!! I’ve been hooked on Mrs. Dawn’s sugar cookies since I was just a girl. I’ve travelled the world and back and can attest that Sis’ Sweets baked goods are still to this day are incomparable! 🍪

If you don't do anything else when you come to Leavenworth, you have to stop in this amazing cookie shop. Love love love all her cookies. I know she serves other real food for lunch but the cookies keep me coming back every chance I get.

Excellent choices in baked goods and very friendly staff!! No gluten free options though. Only downside.

My first visit was very satisfied, food was excellent and the amount was more than any other place in Leavenworth. The cookies are hands down out of this world, do yourself a favor and visit them soon.

If you love the smell of freshly baked cookies, this is the place for you! Enveloped in the aroma of chocolate we ordered a simple lunch that was absolutely delicious. Choices of fruit, vegetables or pasta salad was a welcomed change from the normal fries or salad usually offered at other places. The prices were decent, the food delicious and the baked goods AMAZING! Definite Leavenworth must!

Best sweet treat, they have cookies and cookie bars, cake slices and brownies of all kinds. There are tables to stay and eat, the environment is very local kansas history themed, but interesting and not over the top. They are always friendly and pleasant to talk with. Sometimes they run out of what I came in for, but there are plenty of other options. I show up to satisfy my sweet tooth 2-3 times a month, and could more if i would exercise more.

Had a sweet tooth and decided to try Sis' Sweets. Although I think it is alittle pricey, i had to try a few of them...you know, to make sure they were as good as they look! Very decadent, treats. You will be satisfied with just one, very tasty. My 19yr REALLY loved the brownie topped with snickers and chocolate!

By far the best Bakery in the State if not the world. Our Teacher of the Year team still talks about their SWEET AMAZING cookies. They are scattered throughout the state of Kansas and have tried the rest. They will tell you hands down it is the best!!

There is a lot to see in this shop. My kids were enthralled by all that was hung on the walls, and especially by the penny table. It is worth at least $31.08, they counted 😉. The cookie dough brownies are delicious, as were the white chocolate brownies. My girls enjoyed their ice cream cones from the moderate selection.

Sis sweets is awesome. I enjoy the atmosphere and all the kind ladies that work there. Their cookies are the best!

Sis' salads are so yummy! I recently had the one with mandarin oranges and I was loving every bite. Also, it filled me up and so did the yummy cookie. I'll eat there again soon!

The best cookies, by far. We've had them cater a graduation and I always get a batch in lieu of a birthday cake: it will change your life.

More specifically, all of it is very attuned to an adult sweet tooth, it's not overwhelmingly sweet, each item is a complicated flavor as opposed to a simple oversweetening. It also helps you be able to binge eat a ton without wanting to die afterwards, but that means you need to be careful not to eat a million in a sitting, because it won't feel like you have.
