My room was fantastic, clean, comfortable bed and very quiet HVAC. THE restaurant's food was extremely good, and the Sales Department ( Mira) was unbelievably helpful. I plan on staying there my next trip.

Great Hotel at a great rate! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room Service was fast and efficient. Breakfast arrived in room still hot. A rarity in today’s world.
Pool, Jacuzzi and Sauna was functional.
Room was squeaky clean.
All around a great relaxing New Years Eve getaway

I didn't stay here but my Best Friend and her Daughter did... at one of the most difficult times in my life, they came from Chicago to be with me and comfort me. I went to their room and even though it is under construction 👷 🚧 it proved true to the 5-star standard.

Place is not near anything so hopefully you've rented a car and not ubering from the airport which is crazy expensive. The room was comfortable and we used the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast. We ordered the steak and it was delicious but smaller than I expected for the $32 price tag. The roasted vegetables were excellent. Breakfast we ordered Eggs Benedict and they were perfect. Server did ask if we needed hot sauce and they had Sriracha. Didn't use the pool or weight room but they looked like they belonged to a spa and not a hotel.

Had an amazing weekend event here. Ask about the free upgrades when the parking lot is not full. The cookies are good too!

I read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel, but as we were here on business, and didn’t have a choice in hotels, I wanted to keep an open mind. We have stayed for 5 days and I have no idea what the negative reviews were about. Yes, you have to use the service elevators. They are having to replace the entire elevator system, and it was being actively worked on while we were here. The noise was minimal. The service elevators are just elevators, they go up and down… nothing to give a negative review over! The room was so clean, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the staff was incredible! So friendly, and helpful! The food at Trofi was AMAZING! Hint… try the burnt end Mac and cheese, and the 12 oz strip! Incredible! The pool and hot tub were very clean, I saw them cleaned daily! Again, not sure why the negative reviews on this. I loved my stay here and would absolutely recommend it and utilize it again!

This was a great hotel! Comfy bed and pillows. And the warm cookie at check in was soooo yummy! 🍪

I’ve heard some bad mixed reviews about this place. However, my experience was wonderful. My room was clean. The front desk staff knew me by name (I stayed 2 nights) and the cafe staff was so pleasant. Did not check pool and yes elevators are a pain. Once fixed, it should avoid any further poor reviews. Give this place a chance. I loved my stay.

It's a late 70s early 80s building design, but not in a bad way. The rooms are in good shape. The pool and the building form a nice courtyard and on the fourth side there are trees. It is a fairly nice view from the second floor. There's maintenance going on during Easter weekend 2023, so only the service elevators are working, which made the visit more interesting.

We didn't have any special requests, so I can't comment on the service, but the staff seems friendly enough.

Parking is a little further from the building, but that probably makes the building look nicer, buy may not be so much fun during bad weather. There are luggage carts and a covered entrance

Staff was really nice, the cookies were good, and the 24/7 gym was nice
Only thing was the broken elevators, no microwave and I found some old dusty soda behind the shelf..

Dont mind the karens leaving one star review, they must be miserable people. Hotel including the pool is very nice. Using the service elevator IS NOT a hassle nor does it take any longer or cause you to have to walk further to your room. Front desk was prompt and friendly. Zero complaints. Id stay again.

Excellent facility and staff provided a restful stay among two busy days. Location worked well and the restaurant next door should be a destination-level place. Very clean and functional space. The team handled a large group of soccer players and parents very well.

Should be a 4-star hotel not three. I know because my parents expect service, and they get it here. Anyone complaining is probably used to 5-star treatment. Also the property is nice. You'll enjoy views of the city, and the pool is absolutely one of the best in all of KC. It's full size, and in a glass enclosed outbuilding.

Our room was just fine. Everything looked and smelled nice and clean. Lucky for us we were on the 2nd floor so the elevators weren't so bad for us.

Checking in was super easy. We got a kings suite on the 16th floor. The room was spacious and clean. The view was AMAZING!! In the morning we drank coffee and ate breakfast at the table in our room watching a hawk fly window level and even saw deer in the trees below. I think it might have been the best room I ever stayed in. Checking out was a breeze!

My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the food was very good, and the conference center/services were great. All the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone having a conference in the Overland Park area. My colleagues all felt this hotel provided a very professional and comfortable conference experience.

This was a really great stay! We were here for a couple days workshop & everything about our stay was really great.

The room was clean, well kept, & comfortable. The conference/meeting room facilities were great. Every employee I interacted with was fantastic & very accommodating. Particularly the coffee shop every morning was always a great jovial place. Also, Walter, at the front desk was very helpful & accommodating.

I highly recommend this Doubletree.
