Candlewood Suites Overland Park - W 135th St., an IHG Hotel

I've stayed here i think 4 times. Multiple nights each time. Little store is convenient that's inside. The coffe is meh... but there is a Scooters is across the parking lot to solve that problem. Bed super comfy and everything is clean.

This is one of the best Candlewood suites I have seen, and I have traveled all over the country for years. Great value for the money 💰.

Feels like a second home. Great staff, great rooms, great location. This is my top go to location when visiting KC

TEN STARS!! We are so impressed. From the very Sweet woman who welcomed us to checkout, an excellent experience. Very clean big room, very comfortable queen beds with sharp, bright white sheets, a yummy duvet and FOUR feather (?) pillows; full sized fridge, microwave and plates, cups, etc. We only wished the TV and cable were better quality. Highly recommend!!!

I stayed at this hotel 6 years ago, and absolutely loved it. It is in a nice safe , quiet area and is several blocks from a shopping area. The rooms have kitchenettes with dishes. The amenities, customer service, quality of rooms, cleanliness, and price are excellent

Excellent customer service (same gentleman on check-in and check-out). Clean, comfortable well-stocked rooms. Was upgraded on arrival to a king bed suite for our loyalty. Quiet room. Easy access to sports facilities and amenities.

Very nice rooms. Full size fridge/freezer, cook top, dish washer, microwave, dishes, etc. Very clean and everything worked. Got a great deal on priceline. Great location with plenty of restaurant options. Easy highway access. Highly recommend.

My family stayed at this location twice in February. Our area experienced winter storms and we were without power. The staff at this location work hard to help and are friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Cory, works st the front desk and always greets you with a smile and asks if there is anything needed to help with your stay. Definitely, recommend this hotel.

All the employees were very good at their jobs, very attentive and friendly. this was our first time staying at this brand of hotel. They charged $12 for our 60 lb dog to stay - Very reasonable. They had a doggy pick up station on one end of the hotel but not on the other. There were some really bad dog owners who did not pick up after their dogs, so watch out for poop everywhere.

I’ve stayed in this chain in Tulsa, OKC, and Kansas City.

The staff is great; rooms clean and the beds are wonderful.

I don’t really post much about much. But thought it was appropriate to sing my accolades about such a great staff of people. They make the sadness of missing home less painful.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights while visiting friends in the kansas city area. The hotel and room were fairly new and in good condition. The room was overall very clean. The kitchenette and laundry facility made our stay incredibly easy and relaxing. We look forward to staying there again.

Very up-to-date decor and appliances. Everyone was very pleasant, though I had no issues to judge how they might be handled, but I'll take no problems! Location provides some natural noise protection, as the hotel is not right on the busy road but quite a way into the piece land it's on. And the egress is right by a traffic light, so going in either direction is convenient. The road it's on is almost nothing but stores and restaurants and services so anything you could want is close by.

Excellent New Hotel!! I stayed here on Dec 23-25 and the staff was fantastic over the holidays. Everyone was so kind. I was also a straight shot away from the Prairie Fire Museum that was only about 1/2 mile down the road and right next to all the shopping and the new Scheels. This is the best area in Overland Park and everything I needed to take the family to was right next to the hotel. Great experience and thanks.

Nicest place I've stayed. Had a full kitchen stocked with dishes, a full sized fridge, big desk for work. A cozy recliner and spacious bathroom. Definitely worth it despite the fact they don't have breakfast.

Great place to stay, especially with kids. Staff had our requests ready by the time we checked in. Our suite had a full kitchen, living room with pull out bed, and a private bathroom. They also have games, movies you can borrow during your stay. Supposedly there are outdoor grills you can use, but we didn't get a chance to try it.

The room was quite nice, especially the suite portions like the kitchen area and bathroom. The television was difficult to operate, as no instructions were provided for the three remotes, but overall the best was good and easy to sleep in.

Staff was very accommodating to our needs given the size of my family and the fee for the cat was very reasonable.

The suite was very clean and as a father of 4 I cannot overstate the value of being able to close a door between myself and my children at night.

The only thing missing was an oven. Loved it.

The rooms were wonderful! Everything was clean and stocked! The staff when we checked in was welcoming, friendly & courteous! Its 1 of the NICEST hotels we've ever stayed in!

I liked the location it's not in a busy location. The room has everything that you could possibly need from stove top to a microwave. Had plates and silverware and even containers if you needed them for leftovers. Definitely be on my list next time I need a place to stay.
