Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park/Metcalf, South of College Boulevard

I had to travel 2 hours to Kansas City for a doctor appointment and a snowstorm was on the way and my daughter didn't want me driving through the snow in the early a.m. so she booked me a room here at the Courtyard by Marriott. It's less than 10 minutes drive from my doctor. I can't say enough good about the people here from the front desk to The bistro and Starbucks everyone had a smile on their faces and were incredibly happy and helpful.

Hotel was under a remodel but the room we had was clean and quiet. Friendly staff.

Even during construction it was nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was really nice!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Very clean rooms. Had a small café which was nice for a coffee/breakfast or a drink later in the day. Good location with shopping and dining close. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

They do have hand pump soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There is a mini fridge in the room in a little coffee pot. Everything is very very clean and very, very nice.

Very nice, loved the little bar and dining area. Food was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall very happy with the experience.

This Courtyard is a little dated, but is very clean and comfortable! All of the staff from check-in to bistro were very courteous and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

No complaints from this Marriott property. Upon arrival, the staff was very welcoming and answered any questions I had. My room was very clean as were the facilities. Great property and I would stay again if I am in the area.

really enjoyed this hotel for 2 days! PLEASE BUY THE 7 DOLLAR BREAKFAST BEFORE HAND!! the breakfast is so worth it. we spent probably 32 dollars for 2 including a venti starbucks drink with a good hot plate. our favorite part was breakfast. we got two ventis along with a bagel and french toast for the price of one venti with the breakfast thing. it’s a very convient hotel with great interstate access. the staff is very friendly and recommend staying here. it’s close to a target along with the cheesecake factory and walmart! great stay:)

Nice hotel for our family during our journey through Kansas. Special thanks to Bryan at the front desk who helped track down a pack-n-play for our baby when we arrived and brought it to our room. Great location, close to restaurants and gas stations for traveling families.

We stayed overnight through Black Friday weekend. The rooms were clean and the beds were nice. One thing that would set this hotel apart from others is in their showers they have large pumps of shampoo and conditioner and body wash mounted to the shower wall, instead of the small single serve items that you typically see in hotels. Overall it was a great experience, I wouldn't have a problem recommending it to a friend.

Staff was very attentive. I was traveling with my parents, who are older and they needed help during the middle of the night. The staff made every effort to help them - I really appreciated it! I will definitely use this hotel in the future when traveling to the KC metro area.

The people running the show are excellent. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and a quiet location. Again, the staff are fantastic!

Everyone here was SO nice! We were here for 3 weeks & they really took good care of us. We will come back for sure! Super tidy & stayed on up too of their sanitizing which made it more comfortable for us.

We originally booked an airbnb in a unknowingly sketchy part of town. Once we arrived we freaked, left and started calling pet friendly hotels but nothing was available. Thank God they had a room for us!! It was clean, well kept, updated and staff was super helpful on all shifts. Due to covid we had to reserve our pool time but that was nice to have the pool all to ourselves. Will definitely stay here again. :-)

We've stayed here many times and each time has been nice.

Very helpful and friendly staff at this hotel. After arriving in our room the first night we called the front desk about a refrigerator that we thought was to be included in our room. The answer was no, however they said they could provide us with a portable mini-fridge and had a staff member at our door with the unit in less than 5 minutes! It’s odd others have complained about noise. Our stay was 3 days last weekend and the hotel was full each night and experienced no noise problem. In fact, consider this: I commend this hotel for their choice of entry room doors and quiet operation. At most other hotels, you can hear entry doors automatically slamming very loudly down the hallway which is very irritating both in the evening and especially early morning. It was a pleasant surprise to find that Courtyard has done something to muffle that universal problem! Only problem with this hotel: WIFI is crap

I have spent many nights at this Courtyard. Always clean and comfortable. A little off the beaten path always quiet and usually a great value. Like every other hotel in the country, wear your mask, keep your distance. Unlike a bunch of other Overland Park hotels the parking is free. I will stay here again.
