Sonic Drive-In

My daughter and I walked to sonic this morning and enjoyed delicious burrito and strawberry water. Wish I'd of remembered the carhops name that brought us our order. He was so very nice and greeted us.

I love Sonic. Especially this location. I work with these amazing people . We have great staff and great food. Everyone is always positive and we make sure our customers have the best experience and fresh food:)

I know it is Sonic. Fast food to me is generally a 3.5 star tops. Mainly because well prepackaged precooked (there are exceptions) but yesterday for whatever reason the burger I got tasted so much better than what I am used too. This Sonic I visit routinely as it is on my way home. Not sure if they got a new distribution center, they changed their meat to fat content, or higher quality beef but it hit the spot. The lettuce and tomatoes where fresh too.

Hope this was not a one and done for this location.

I pulled into this SONIC location to grab a quick lunch on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon around 1:00 PM. There were about 15 cars in the parking lot, so it was pretty busy and I selected a stall to park in rather than going through the drive-thru. I pushed the red button and within 10 seconds, there was hugely-enthuastist Jake who assisted with taking my order. Wow Jake. Nicely done. Keep it up. I enjoyed our short time together.

I received my order after about 3 minutes and was greatly surprised. The food was super-fresh and tasted great. Cold condiments, perfectly-melted cheese, crispy lettuce, the right amount of mayo without being too sloppy or soggy. I especially liked how the bacon was not burned and perfectly-cooked with a smokey flavor to it. That added to the flavor of the entire burger and leveled it up.

Convenient location, lots of parking, clean parking lot, drive-thru available, fast service, fresh food that tasted great for fast food, with an overall spend less than $10. Not bad.

Next time I'm in Leavenworth Kansas, I will stop by this SONIC and grab a bite to eat or maybe a dessert. Maybe I'll run into Jake again LOL.

I'm going to be as real as a customer in as few words. My wife works here, but believe me this will be non biased. IF YOU OR YOUR KIDS NEED WORK GET THEM A JOB HERE!! My wife works 9 and a half to 10 hour days now. They need help with this summer business. Some of the employees just go there to slack off and talk, or move very slowly for being so young, especially now that it's essentially a skeleton crew with inexperienced newbies slowly learning. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH THIS STORE!! we all get a bad order from time to time, mistakes happen and employees have bad days.. its life!! This is a fast paced cutthroat business where you sink dead slow or swim with the sharks. Give them time to get new people on board and up to speed, as I've never had bad food here even if they were severely understaffed. 100 people in the lot expect to wait. Be smart about it... if you see 3 to 5 people inside, sometimes 2, and the lot is full don't get upset when you wait. I see people go up their saying they can handle the heat, but leave after 2 days.. no call no shows daily. I see my wife once a week and only until like 9 or 10 at night. So my daughter and I barely see her, and that's fine because she has the best work ethic of anyone I know. Shes making her career out here, but please PLEASE, be patient. Jake the gm is a busy guy, I see him constantly on the move everyday same as my wife. They are doing their best to keep up with business, and for the quality of food I usually get!? I'm jus not the type of guy who minds a wait if my food is top tier. Again I've never had bad food here, ik it could happen, but it's just rare when it happens here. If you come with and attitude though expect to get one in return, that's common sense. You want respect you show it.. I have seen people show up acting like this is supposed to be the perfect food experience for them, COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS TO THE FULL LOT AND ONLY 4 EMPLOYEES! One more thing if you want custom drinks, BE VERY SPECIFIC BUT DONT TALK DOWN TO THEM WHEN THEY ASK YOU TO SPEAK UP PLEASE, THE SPEAKERS AND HEADSETS ARE ROUGH FROM WHAT I HEAR AND SOME OF YALL SO RUDE!! ive hears people talk to the box like they were talking to children just because a worker said could you please speak up. Don't be offended, some of them have low volume. Jus give it time and in a few days or a few weeks they'll be efficient and fast again. NEEDS WIND BLOCKS FOR OUTDOOR SEATING!! My food and bags always get blown off the table, it being by a highway in pancake flat kansas never helps. Jus a real pov from my frequent visits. All employees try their best to be professional and courteous tho, some may have rough days, and bad attitudes get fired quick round these parts folks. So if it's just a gloomy grumper grumps, don't expect then to burden this sonic location long lol

I literally came here almost every day after work. I do love Sonic with all my heart and even have text updates and the app. I will say, though, when other locations in the area were closed, had broken stalls, or were a lot smaller than I’m used to, this location NEVER disappointed. Always fully functioning, they never got my order wrong in the dozens of times I ate there, even got my complicated drink specifications right every single time whereas I can’t say other locations always do. I love this sonic and I miss it having moved away!

Sonic has very good drinks here. I got a Sprite with cherry flavor and it well mixed and has great flavor. The staff are very polite and courteous.

The gentleman who took my order (Timothy) I believe he is a manager , he was very accommodating when my child wanted french toast sticks and they were out he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Very polite, courteous and respectful, he should be the team leader and employees should emulate his professionalism

Finally able to tip carhops via screen with card at most locations. These guys and gals work SUPER hard and I never carry cash.

This is possibly the best Sonic in the area and when I say area I want to say with in 30 or 40 mi I got my order. It was what I asked. I got in an a good amount of time and I got courteous service. You couldn't ask for anything more, however this one is about 10 mi away from my home so I won't necessarily be going over there just to get Sonic. But if I'm in the area I'll definitely give it a visit

Excellent service And Tasty Food!!!

Carhop brought our food out very fast, literally ran. They had forgotten to give us maranara sauce, but they brought it right out as soon as we asked. Food was good, as usual. Best sonic around in my opinion.

Carl Richmond's North Leavenworth Sonic is the absolute best all around!
They have the best food, drinks, & shakes there!
We have been going there, almost daily, for years & our orders are always accurate, exactly as we request!
Very fast service & the employees are so polite & friendly!
I highly recommend that if you've never been there, you really should try them out!

The customer service here is on point, and their food was awesome, and fast, and they got everything right! None of my onion rings were burnt, there were no pickles in my hamburger and our server was beyond friendly. This is the first time an employee has came back by while I was eating in my car and asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything. This location is better than the other Leavenworth locations, that is for sure!

Our experience at this location was surprising! The young man, Sam, who served us was the kindest and most genuine server our family has ever had at a fast food location with the exception of being at a Chickfla! They may have forgot the Sprite Zero, but after the day I had, the professionalism and kindness was greatly appreciated. Sam seems to have quite a future ahead of him!

I LOVE THE DAY CREW!! So kind and fun to talk to when not busy. But as far as night crew go one star. Every time I go at night my drink is wrong. I try to be nice when I ask them to fix it and even tip them. Tonight I'm done they just went in, went to the back then came out. It was he same drink. I went home and had my step dad try it he said it wasn't what I ordered and they added flavoring to it. I'm pretty pissed at night crew I'm a regular and very nice to them because I know how it is working in fast food.

Good food and good service, used to work there and did for 3.5 Years, the one at 3211 S Fourth Street in Leavenworth is ran by Sonic Partner Kelsey Galliart.
