Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

Loved the location of the Marriott compared to the event we were in town for. It really felt luxurious and was immaculately clean. We had some friends over to socialize and they mentioned how nice the hotel felt and looked.

The service at the front desk and the breakfast attendants was stellar and I felt valued as a loyal customer. Thank you for making my family feel welcome.

Great experience! Clean rooms, spacious, friendly staff and the pool area was inviting and clean too. Pillows were ultra comfortable and luxurious. Would go back today!

Hotel was very nice and clean. Employees were friendly and helpful whenever a request was made. Hotel bar / restaurant area was perfect. Only reasons for the 4 stars on the rooms portion, are for them not being the most spacious when having a king sized bed in them and also for the awkward style barndoors attached to the bathroom. Otherwise - Thank you for making our stay feel welcomed !

We had a great stay at the hotel. Loved the bed; clean and comfortable. Slept like a log. The bathroom floors and showers were first class. Great staff and location. Will surely stay there when in Kansas City again. Thank you.

The room is standard 2 king beds . Comfortable.
Wasn't thrilled about the blonde hair x2 in the bathroom.
Don't bother with the breakfast buffet. For 17 dollars, the food was less than average. Very few options . There are too many places in the area to get decent food.

Excellent staff, recently updated rooms, and a great location make this spot a perfect stay in the Overland Park / Kansas City area. Very easy to get to and lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby.

One suggestion, the booths within the restaurant have cushions with no support. So, when one sits within the booth, everyone is in an awkard position, with the table top being too high, much like a child sitting at chin level with the table. When we had dinner all of us, 4 in total, all over 45 years of age, used the cushion for our backs as telephone books, placing the back cushion on top of the seat cushion, for more elevation. It worked. Our suggestion is .... invest in higher / firmer booth seat cushions and / or lower the level of the booth tables.

Bourbon bar in the foyer. Starbucks. And free laundry. Ample parking for my truck!
To get to the pool you have to go down stairs. To sore to make it there.

My favorite hotel in the KC area. Rooms are very nice, well lit (I hate dark hotel rooms), and the beds are comfortable. I always enjoy the restaurant and bourbon bar. Their M Club is large and a great convenience to have. Staff is always nice and helpful. After meeting the general manager I can see why the hotel is so strong on hospitality and the staff so friendly - great guy and great hotel.

Nice hotel with modern style rooms, laid out for relaxation in a living room type environment and sleeping area. Loved the bathroom! Nice pooling area in the lobby with various seating styles to appeal to different guests and their needs. Only problem was the 2-hour refrigerator. We left for our activity and came back to warm food inside the refrigerator. Cold drinks had to be put into a warm refrigerator until you turned it on. Don't forget to push the button when you get up in the middle of the night. Just not a good situation for food-born bacteria or cold drinks--no ice machine working on our floor the first day.

We have been staying here for over 20 years always enjoy staff and the food location is wonderful

great hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly and professional staff members.. My wife, our dog and I have stayed here 3 times so far and will be spending more time here next week as we return from visiting grand kids. Be sure to have a drink and tapas at the bourbon bar off the lobby and a coffee in the morning from the starbucks also off the lobby. Our last stay, right after we had checked in we had a problem with a toilet that overflowed. Reported the incident and were immediately provided another room.. thanks for making our stops comfortable and hassle free.

Nice and clean hotel. Came here for a marriage conference and stayed over the weekend. It was a wonderful time and experience. Comfortable beds and pillows. Starbucks coffee on main floor. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was nice with upgraded finishes. The lobby & bar area made for a great spot to spend the evening with coworkers. And the Starbucks on the main floor is a convenient spot to grab something to get you out the door early. With my Bonvoy status I also add access to the M Club area. Nice, quiet area with perks. Overall a very nice hotel!

Michaela and the rest of the front desk staff were outstanding. Really liked the room with two king-size beds. I’ve never seen that before but we enjoyed it. The M club was nice and a welcome addition over the old hotel. All in all an excellent update. We’re still great people.

This is a great property! I stayed the night for a concert at Arrowhead and it was easy to hop on the interstate and get there and back. It is in a great location with tons of restaurants nearby. The hotel interior is updated the rooms are spacious and modern. The bathrooms are somewhat small, but that wasn't an issue for me. It was great having an actual Starbucks on property as well. I highly recommend staying here!

I attended a Gala with a nonprofit, Giving Hope & Help. The event was lovely and the space was a beautiful.
