Staybridge Suites Overland Park-Kansas City Area, an IHG Hotel

I stay at a lot of hotels and Staybridge Suites while traveling for business in 10 different states and beyond. This location is one of the best deals travelers can find. It’s always very clean and the staff and service is second to none. DeAnthony (Evening Shift) and Melissa (Day Shift) are great! Both are very nice and clearly have a commitment to excellent customer service. If an issue does come up, it’s taken care of immediately. I can’t say that for their competitors and other more expensive hotels. This is my home away from home when traveling to the Kansas City area.

Room was very nice and clean. Bed was really comfortable. Shower was hot but low water pressure. The free breakfast was adequate and there are only two ice machines in the building. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is right off the highway with a convenience store right out front. I would stay there again.

I've gotten kind of picky about hotels on these business trips and I had never heard of staybridge but I noticed it had higher reviews than everywhere else in the area even some of the best known brand hotels.

Well I have to say I was not disappointed and the perfect way to describe it just that... A solid notch above the rest and definitely exceeded expectations. Very good and better than a lot of places at twice the price. Layout of rooms is A REFRESHING CHANGE OF SCENERY and it's really easy to get settled in cozy and actually forget you're at a hotel. Perfect location right in the middle of EVERYTHING and Everywhere you could wanna go for food drinks and entertainment.

If you're having trouble deciding, look no further, this is the one.

Very pretty establishment, clean with spacious rooms. I loved the Dove products in the bathroom! The queen beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed beer on tap and wine during social hour. It was a relaxing stay before we had to be at the hospital for surgery. Highly recommend!

This seems to be a newer hotel. Rooms are nice and equipped well for our needs. Appreciate finding a nice place we can bring our dogs with us.

The staff at Staybridge Suites in Overland Park is like my second family. Been staying there for the past three years at all times I’m greeted with â genuine warmth of appreciation of returning back. The conversations are always awesome especially with Stuart.
They provide us with free breakfast and free happy hour each evening. Pricing is well priced. Come stay here and you’ll know why I’ve been a loyal customer for over three years.

It was our first visit here. The desk clerk was so nice and helpful! I had mentioned I needed to add a other night to my stay, and he cheerfully said it would just take 45 seconds to make that change. The rooms were so nice and so clean. I loved having the mini kitchen! I honestly can't say enough great things about this hotel. I'll be back for sure! (Pardon the messy pics, we were packing in a hurry)

My first time staying at this hotel. Nothing to complain about. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Room was exceptionally clean. Bed comfy. Makes returning here an easy decision of the opportunity presents itself again!

We had recently had to stay at a hotel for a little over a month due to water damage and this place did not disappoint. The units are clean, had up to date decor and were very comfortable. The staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was amazing. Fresh, hot waffles, bacon, sausage and eggs plus a large selection of cereal, fruit and pastries. What more could you ask for?! The on site laundry was free to use! I know, free!! There was a very nice gym and a nice indoor pool. They really made our stay comfortable and happy. A refreshing change from the horror of the Ameristar but that’s a different review. Lol

This is by far the best and most favored Staybridge that I've stayed at. I come here quite often for work and it is consistently clean and they treat me like family, including the manager, whenever I come. It feels like home away from home.

There's also great restaurants and food spots surrounding the location, some within walking distance. DON'T BOOK ANYWHERE ELSE WHEN YOU COME TO TOWN!

Friendly staff. Clean, Sizeable rooms. Good selection of breakfast. Rooms have full size refrigerators, hot plate, dishes, pots/pans, toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, etc...nice place to be able to eat in if desired. Bedroom was super quiet, couldn't hear noise from hall.

Melissa the manager is amazing here. She works more than I have ever seen a manager work/ help their employees. She deserves some recognition for her patience and professionalism and what she brings to this hotel.

Good location right off the highway and lots of things to do and places to eat within short distance. Rooms are nice and well kept and there are several nice free amenities.

Clean, quiet room. Friendly service.
Meeting room equipment did not work as expected (projector) which impacted our meeting. I'm not taking any stars away for that, but it was a bummer.

Very clean, nice, like new hotel near all the shopping areas! It’s a little further away from Country Club Plaza but I don’t mind driving 20-25 min to get there. I enjoy having a small kitchen with my king bed studio. Highly recommend staying here!
Stuart and the other front desk lady were super friendly and courteous!

One of the best long stay hotels I have ever stayed at. Great corporate rate, excellent weight room, excellent laundry room (many machines, new, and free!), great pool, fun TV room, great free breakfast, conveniently located, easy parking, excellent staff and management, clean, great service, and right near freeways. I stayed a year and didn't have one complaint. I will miss it.

We stayed two nights in this brand new hotel. The location is great! The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Great kitchen area with everything you need. Our room has a door between bedroom and living room which we really liked. It is very nice The hotel even offered free dinner! We enjoyed our stay and will for sure stay there again next time.

A comfortable and spacious room with a kitchenette and sectional seating area. A bit noisy due to the close proximity of the busy roadway and interstate. Great if at a conference or while on business.

No fault of the hotel, but if you are staying, make sure to grab a rental car. Ubers are a bit unreliable and expensive, especially if you are going out to dinner or looking to travel to the conference centers nearby.

Would stay again if traveling in the area.
