TownePlace Suites by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

Best location. Love that it has a kitchen. We stayed in the two bedroom suite. Only downside was they didn't take out the trash or replenish towels till the 4th day so I had to keep taking out the trash and putting it in the hallway. But I'm sure I could've requested them to clean and replenish towels. Can't beat the location though. I really loved overland Park. I can see myself going there again in the future.

This hotel has a cool entrance far away from traffic so you don't have to deal with people just driving around for fun. I stayed for 3 days and would love to stay again! The service was fantastic (especially from the night shift), and my room was quiet all day.

Our dogs loved this location! There is a big field right next to the hotel that used to be a golf course.
For the humans, it's super close to a bunch of dining options too.

We stayed 1night. Our room was clean and the people that work there are friendly. We had a missing light bulb on one of the nightstands but the hotel quickly remedied that. We felt very safe at this location.

I stayed from December 7th thru the 8th and I just wanted to give a shout out to the front desk associate who greeted me when I arrived. He was very helpful and very informative with getting me checked in and helping me with a few questions I had about the rest of my trip. Also, the room itself was phenomenal. First time I've ever stayed at a Marriott property that had so many amenities that I had to show it off to my friends and family it was so cool!

Has always been clean when we visit and staff has been friendly. There's a stove and full size refrigerator so if you need to cook your own food you can. They even have rice cookers and other appliances like blenders you can check out. It's close to food and shopping but is a nice quiet location.

Rooms are really clean, there's a kitchenette you can cook your own food or you can use the grills on the patio. The staff is VERY friendly and happy to help. The breakfast is great! There's hot options like eggs & bacon/sausage as well as cold cereal and yogurt, etc. Great place to stay!

A truly lovely setting for an unexpected Hotel that is incredibly well equipped, both as a whole and in the individual rooms. This is the perfect place if you are coming for the weekend, coming for business, or coming for an extended stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the linens are top-notch. The fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator also sports a range and oven, full size microwave and a dishwasher, and there is a ton of storage-- and they actually have dishes and cooking items inside the room. The staff are also exceptional, Brittney the GM and Rebecca at the front desk have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and safe, and their professional courtesies and wonderful attitude (along with the other staff members and the breakfast and housekeeping staff) truly make you feel welcome as a valued guest. And the setting feels like you're on a private estate but minutes away from major thoroughfares. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very nice and had great accommodations. My review is really for the service we received while staying at this hotel. Pam was the front desk person who checked us in after driving 14 hours from New Mexico. She made sure that our rooms had the appropriate names on them and so on. After that Pam became our ambassador. She provided service to our little group of competitors that we rarely see in the hotel industry anymore. Special space was offered for my students to consult with each other about their competition as well as making fresh cookies for us after the stressful competition was over. Pam helped to make our stay as amazing as possible. She is the epitome of professionalism and friendliness. I hope that the management team recognizers her willingness to provide the best experience possible to their guests. So if you're able to, ask for Pam as she will make your stay a memorable one. Thank you Pam for everything you did for myself and the team!!!

An absolutely amazing stay for a week in an absolutely amazing location with absolutely amazing staff. The room is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, range, full size microwave, and tons of storage. Close to a wide variety of dining and entertainment and drinking establishments, along with museums and close proximity to all the major corridors to get you around the Kansas City area. Britney and Rebecca and Stacy and Pam and Nicole and Lesley and Gwin were all absolutely spectacular, and they made my stay ever so much more relaxing and pleasurable. They took the time to always make sure all of my needs were met and the room was tidy and well kempt. The setting is like being in a private park surrounded by trees. This is definitely a very hidden hotel. From a street side standpoint you can't even see this property, and the parking lot is very private and there aren't any bright lights shining in your room and there is a golf course surrounding it. I felt safe and well cared for my entire visit.

This hotel is greattttt.. the staff is exceptional. Highly recommend it. Erin has a pick me up attitude… and just a happy soul.. the check in was great… this coming from an ambassador elite member with Marriott.

I am a professional Residential and Airbnb cleaner and I was very impressed for the first time in a long time with how clean our suite was! Everyone was super friendly and happy to help. Will be staying here from now on! Thanks to their team for getting the job done right.

The location is great not too far from Restaurants. Breakfast is included. The rooms were clean and up to date. Mattresses are old and need to be flipped or replaced.

We had a great experience with this place! We had noisy neighbors and when I talked to the front desk, they got it taken care of so quick and we just decided to change rooms. Eli helped us and he was great! He gave me no problems at all and handled the situation very well. My in-laws liked it so much they wanted to stay another night! It's a casual place that feels like a little home.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 2 adults and 3 kids. The entire suite was so spacious and nice. The bedrooms were huge and one had a walk in closet bigger than my own at home! My husband and I were in one bedroom while the kids were in the other. The bathroom was oversized with a good spacious layout. The best part was the strong water pressure! There was a medium sized kitchen area with a fridge, sink, and 2 burner stove with oven. This looked super convenient, but since we were only there one night we did not utilize. As far as an extended stay hotel this is by far the nicest I have ever seen. The hotel is located in a great upscale area of KC on a golf course and within walking distance of retail shops, restaurants, a market, and recreation.

I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was ample. I enjoyed the fitness center as all the equipment was in good, working order. TownePlace Suites are within walking distance of several excellent restaurants and a large grocery store. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Wow, Towneplace Suites by Marriot in Overland Park is my number one. The staff was amazing from the front desk to housekeeping. Kim, was very kind and helpful. She helped make my son and I trip even more special. The rooms are very clean and having 2 closet was a plus. The outside pool is a rare find in KC area and we enjoyed swimming in the sunshine.

My wife and I travel A LOT, and we’re always looking for the best complimentary breakfast. Today we found it. The chef, Joel, had the eggs and bacon cooked perfectly, pre-made Belgian waffles were delicious, and 6 different cereals to pick from (including granola, my favorite).

My coffee was on point and they had 4 different pre-bottled milks to pick from: skim, 2%, low fat chocolate, and OAT MILK!

Fun fact, apparently Joel the Chef works maintenance but steps in for breakfast on the weekend. I’m so glad we caught him on the weekend. He made our stay!
