Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

We are a Marriott family and always stay with Marriott when we travel. This was yet another great Marriott hotel and they went out of their way to make guests comfortable during their remodel.

Our room was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and our overall stay was good.

Unfortunately … this particular hotel had the most uncomfortable sofa and chairs (all in the room) that I have ever experienced at a Marriott. I hope this furniture has yet to be upgraded.

I was desperate to relax, and booked this hotel the day before. I was so tired and needed to get some rest and relax. I was so happy I booked this place! Residence Inn never let's me down. I took a hot salt bath and slept like a baby. Made my motorcycle trip back to Texas easy the next day!

Home away from home. I travel a lot, and it's nice to have my own quiet place to go after a long workday.

Beds are soft yet supporting. Bathrooms could use a refresh with newer fixtures, but they work and aren't the worst by any means. Definitely clean throughout the hotel.

"Closet" door kept falling off the track in room 142. Not end of the world but aggravating.

Breakfast gets a little repetitive once you've eaten it for a week, but hey it is hot and free, so I shouldn't complain.

Overall it's a nice place.

Nice rooms, recently updated. Some remodeling still ongoing. Good location, lots of food and shopping nearby.

The Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park is a great place! Wonderful and easily accessed location. Good parking. Near a ton of restaurants, stores and even some entertainment. The facilities weight room and pool are clean and well maintained. The rooms and pretty big with good layouts as well as very clean. Friendly, helpful staff!

During the recent wind and rain storms our home was damaged and my insurance company put us up in the Residence Inn , Overland Park, I am partially disabled and require a little extra time to get around, And assistance carrying items. Without saying a word to the staff they have bent over backwards to help me everywhere I go. The Manager and Staff check in on me every morning and throughout the day. With this level of care my insurance company can take their time repairing my home.

The staff was incredibly nice! Very homey feel! We had a wonderful stay! Love the outdoor area and basketball court!!

Just finished a three night stay with a youth group of 100! This hotel far surpassed my expectations. The suites were clean and spacious. The kitchens were fully stocked. The breakfast area was large and comfortable with plenty of room. I’m picky about my breakfast items, and the selection was large and the eggs were real! The staff went above and beyond making sure our stay was comfortable. I highly recommend this location as well as other Residence Inns.

We stayed one night in a 2 bedroom suite, so much space for family of 5. Close to target and shopping. Best part was breakfast. My son has a gluten allergy and they had gluten free udis muffins for breakfast!!! This made his trip having something safe to eat! What a surprise. Also impressed with coffee bar!!! ☕

We moved from Wisconsin for my husband’s job in KS and were put up in this hotel. Customer service and breakfast were excellent. The place feels like home. I met a very sweet housekeeper named Susie who was always very accommodating and respectful. Whenever we had issues in our suite, they are able to fix it right away. I would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here.

Pet friendly, rooms in a room, and a pool. Kitchen is a great perk too.

Lynn with sales was so helpful and accommodating to try and make special arrangements for my wife's birthday.

Welcoming front desk staff and manager were so kind to us.This was our 39th anniversary. They made our celebration a happy one. They were helpful and attentive. Our room was clean and fresh. The young lady who attended breakfast did an awesome job of keeping food hot and appetizing. Tables were kept nice and clean. I would definitely stay at this location again. I wish I knew their names. Thank you so much.

Rooms are well equipped, like efficiency apartments. Amenities are nice for business or family guests... basketball, mini golf, pool, gym, mini convenience store, common areas for business or socializing, hot buffet breakfast and weekday dinner/happy hour. Staff is friendly and accommodating. This facility meets the world class standard Marriott travels have come to love. Highly recommend

We recently completed our second stay at the Residence Inn - Overland Park & it was again, wonderful. I love the mobile check in (makes it so much quicker upon arrival!), the front desk staff, the breakfast staff, the maintenance guys, the housekeeping staff... everyone we encountered was super. The breakfast changes a little each day, but is really very good (scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt....). The outdoor play area is cool for the kids young & young at heart, & the indoor pool is nice, too. Oh, & the rooms are really homey & well appointed! We are spoiled now & cant stay in a regular hotel room! I’m looking forward to our next stay.

This isbone of the best Marriots I have stayed in. The staff is supper nice. Shawn was the night manager during my stay and he has been wonderful. They have an indoor pool, halfcourt basketball, and a putting green. Awesome hotel.

After being on vacation with 3 children and my husband, this was a gem to find. We reserved a 2 bedroom which was perfect for us to all get a break from each other, yet still be behind one door together. The rooms were were clean, very up to date, kids were so excited to find smart TVs, and we felt very safe and comfortable in this unit. We will be looking for more of there types of rooms when we travel!!

I usually don't stay with Marriott, but after this experience I will definutely consider it again in the future. This location has great amenities, a decent fitness center, pool, and small (half) basketball court. The staff is all very friendly and happy to help with any problems. Breakfast is well done and healthy, and on Monday, Tues, and Wed they have evening socials with great light food! If you need to stay in the area consider this Residence Inn!

Newly (and currently being) remodeled. Fresh carpet smell (which is surprisingly pleasing). Jasmine at the front desk is awesome. One odd thing, they were sold out of regular soda and only had diet. Clean, fresh rooms. Great place to stay.

The room was very spacious, clean, and contemporary with a pullout sofa couch and mini kitchen. Complimentary popcorn and tea bags. Paul Mitchel shampoo and conditioner. We were very impressed. Marriott will also deliver groceries for you. The front desk was very kind and professional and the free breakfast exceeded our expectations with five cereal options, bagels, toast, sausage, eggs, greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and plenty of space for seating. A swimming pool and other ammenities are included. The location is conveniently right next to a QT a few miles away from the mall and restaurants. If you are looking for a hotel not directly in KC but a place more quiet I would recommend this property.
