SpringHill Suites by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

We booked this hotel after canceling our previous one and what a great decision it was!

Fantastic location, great customer service, rooms are comfortable and cozy, the breakfast is great and most importantly they have coffee on 24/7 which is a nice added bonus, especially when you're a coffee drinker.

We will definitely be staying here again

Loved it except for traffic noise early in the morning. Otherwise, it was very clean and quiet. Continental breakfast was ok. More choices than a lot of places I've been. I'd come again. Friendly staff.

Amazing stay at a budget friendly price. Vijay was super helpful and got us checked in, had plenty of information about anything we needed. Housekeeping was professional and polite, the rooms have nice large dispensers for shampoo, body wash, and conditioner and it's convenient and lavender eucalyptus scented. The room has a really nice desk area, free wi-fi, cable TV and a comfy couch all separated by a small wall from the King Size bed space, lots of plugs and
USB-A plug in spaces and bedside reading lamps. It was lovely! I got some great assistance from Jeff regarding how to find and use the laundry onsite, as there was a snowstorm and my clothes were a soggy. They have quarters at the front desk and can help you out with change so you don't have to venture out in the freeze. Breakfast was delicious, over the week I've had the waffles, bagels with cream cheese, muffins, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and yogurt. They also have oatmeal and lots of pastries, the selection of foods and flavors rotates throughout the week which is nice.
Overall a great stay and good place to be stuck in a freeze. Heaters worked great, too.

Excellent experience here! Raj and Shivani provided me with excellent customer service. I walked into the hotel, and Raj had a huge smile on his face - not painted on and fake. I felt like he was actually happy that I was staying at his hotel. He and Shivani helped me track down an iron as the one in my room was not working. There were many breakfast options and the staff working the breakfast station were attentive and replenished the food items. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had a great selection of channels on the TV. I would definitely book again here!
Great room, great location!

I had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Spring Hill Suites. The hotel was under construction but it didn't effect my stay at all (other than a little confusion about what hotel was what). Check in was a breeze and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very large and well appointed and cleaned well. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked amazing in the blazing heat. Although I did not eat it, I walked past breakfast being set up one morning and it smelled delicious. The price was also reasonable when I booked. Would recommend and return

Last time I was in town, I stayed at the Courtyard just up the street. I like this Springhill Suites much better. It’s more reasonably priced and the upkeep seems a bit better. Very good, hot breakfast, friendly staff, and great location. I will be back! There is a great running/walking trail right up the street that goes along a secluded creek. Great area.

Needed a quick room for a wedding we shot in Overland Park. Found a great rate here and didn't have high expectations... But they have renovated the place and it looks great. Super clean room, surprisingly comfortable king bed, and blackout shades. Continental breakfast was solid from 7am to 10am I believe. Close to plenty of things to do in OP. We went over to Johnny's Tavern (sports bar) one night, and over to Martin City for their brewery and pizza another night (incredible). Highly recommend

Stayed one evening traveling through. Very clean rooms with a bedroom are and living room/office area, super hearty breakfast. Little snack alcove and friendly staff. Would stay again!

Update.
Came back again and the difference was night and day! Completely better experience than last time and I'm super happy with the rooms, the looks, the staff, and even the others ice seen in the halls.

Very happy to know my other issues were just related to renovations.

I stayed here while it was being renovated. So, likely there were more issues because of that. Even so, the "completed" rooms and areas seemed to be rushed. The contractors they hired were not great at all and seemed to cut lots of corners. It showed.

Last day the elevator stopped working.
The room keys didn't work properly.
Some doors were stuck.
Stairwell had pieces falling off the stairs.
The contractors were causing messes around the hotel.

Hopefully it is better next time I head that way...

Had a really nice time. Great room, very clean and spacious. The hotel staff were very courteous and professional. The breakfast buffet was very, very good. I can't wait to go back.

First off, the gentleman who manages the breakfast operation is top notch. He takes so much pride in his work and it really shows. This is the best hotel breakfast I've had in years. He even makes the gravy from scratch, as what's provided wasn't up to par.

The place is being renovated, so some things were in a state of change, but overall it's a great spot. Surprisingly quiet. A good night sleep two nights in a row, what more could you ask for?

My wife and I stayed there last Saturday. We didn't have a reservation when we came in, but they gave us an amazing rate when we did come in. The room was fine, but where they really won us over was with the atmosphere. I've never had so much fun checking in! The staff was incredibly nice and made us smile after a very very long, hard day. Will definitely stay there again!

I was placed in a accessible queen room. The shower curtains were too short and the water would get all over the place. Breakfast is very nice and complimentary. Staff is very friendly.

The studio with 2 queen beds was excellent. The entire hotel was meticulously spotless. The breakfast was delicious. The kids loved the pool and it was perfect for them all (4 years - 13 years). The only issue was that it wasn't possible for us to pay cash for the room, even with a card on file for incidentals. Otherwise, everything was spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again.

The room was nice. It wasn't anything too fancy, but the decor was nice and the room came with a fridge, microwave, coffee pot/coffee, and a little "kitchen sink" (instead of only having a sink in the bathroom). The free breakfast the next morning impressed me. Pretty good assortment of choices, but everything I tried (biscuits and gravy, cheesy eggs, apple cinnamon muffin) was all very good. I would definitely go back 😆

Was here for a soccer tournament. Was a decent distance from the facility. There was a small issue at check in but it wasn't the hotel's fault it was the tournament organizers. Would definitely return.

Front desk workers are all very nice. We love the layout of the room and the room had enough space for 2 adult/3 child family. Small heated pool is nice for 5 years and up. We would stay again.

I stayed three nights for a business trip. The rooming was way more than I expected, very cozy and quiet. The staff was very professional and friendly. Very easy to navigate the hallways. Breakfast is provided tho I didn't attend. Lots of places to park. The bed was amazing for that long day to just come to and flop down on. I'd recommend a stay or more at this location.

This is a nice property. The rooms are spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The layout of the room works well. My family and I used the fitness center and the pool and hot tub. The hot tub appeared to have been recently renovated and was very nice. The fitness center equipment worked well. The breakfast was excellent.
