Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel's modern and well-appointed facilities made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, featuring plush bedding and a range of amenities that made me feel right at home.

The customer service at the Sheraton Overland Park was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, each team member provided top-notch service with a genuine smile.

Went here for my bday and it was an amazing time. Definitely coming back. They brought me a bday dessert. Caught me off guard and definitely made my day.

I had an outstanding stay at Sheraton Overland Park Hotel - at the Convention Center. Kennedy at the front desk was incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in experience. While the $50 early check-in fee was unexpected, the overall service and amenities exceeded my expectations. One thing to be cautious about is the parking deck, as it can become very slippery—I witnessed a man fall. Nonetheless, the staff’s prompt response and the overall positive experience make this hotel a five-star choice for me.

The friendliness is beyond excellent. It starts with the front desk where Amy was very friendly and very helpful. Then at the 1906 grille & bar I had the best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant or hotel. She made us laugh, we never whet without, and she made it to were I would rather be there than anywhere else in town. Andrea is serious the best waitress I’ve ever had

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It is elegant and impeccable. As is the service. Special thank you to the bartender, who suggested I try the gumbo. He was great, and the gumbo was excellent! Compliments to the chef. And to May-Ling(?) in the breakfast area. What a sweetheart. Also the staff in Room Service and Front Desk. Thank you all.

Have stayed here multiple times for out of town work visits. Nice Clean rooms, nice pool, and very nice bar in lobby. Staff has always been friendly, rooms are always clean, and have good amenities. Staff always does very well with our big work gatherings of hundreds of people. Breakfast is not worth it. Would recommend

I selected this hotel as a place to stay while celebrating my daughter’s birthday in town. The salt water pool was comfortable, the whirlpool nice and hot, and the room was perfect for us and her two best friends.Thanks to the management and staff for the extra effort in giving my daughter her “best birthday ever”!

Very clean - actually smells very good! Nice pool and workout room. Gina was our bartender and a delight! Food was good and service was outstanding.

Location is great - easy to get around kc from here. Concierge lounge was well stocked and open all day. Definitely would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Due to the great KC windstorm of 23, we had to find a place with AC as our power was off for a couple of days.

Jake at the front desk checked us in with warmth and hospitality. He offered a nice upgrade for our room at a nominal price. Room was extremely clean and spacious.

We had a few cocktails, giant pretzel and pizza in the bar area. All very good and very needed after a couple of days with no electricity!

Had gone on a business trip for 3 days 2 nights. Hotel was great. The restaurant was great good food. The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean and peaceful. Definitely will stay there again. The elevator had scan room card system where it was secured. The elevator will not move till you scan the room keycard. Which i felt was great.

Great, comfortable beds! When dropping faucet was an issue they immediately responded and moved us when they couldn't fix it. They sent fruit with a note to apologize for the inconvenience. Loved the living room feel of the lobby and enjoyed hanging there with friends after our meetings.

The staff here is GREAT! I was greeted with a smile upon entering and the hotel itself has the "high-end" feel and near great places to eat like Towne Center. If you're not wanting to leave the hotel, that's fine too! You can head downstairs and eat at their in house restaurant. I've found my new favorite spot to rest my head in Kansas City.

Room was very clean and comfortable, the shower worked perfectly, the woman that checked us in was so friendly and there were no issues at all. The hallways were clean, we couldn’t hear anything going on in other guests rooms, will definitely stay here again.

This is a really nice hotel, only a couple of small issues. I wish there was a microwave in the room, and when I arrived my shower drain was super clogged and the first shower I took I was basically standing in standing water at the bottom of the tub. That said I did request this maintenance from the front desk and it was taken care of quickly. The shower head wasn't that nice either, it was spraying water in several different directions, but I got the job done. Several other people I was traveling with mentioned that they did not have soap in their room when they arrived, it wasn't just one person, so that also doesn't look good. I also wish the breakfast menu down the restaurant had a few more options. But The Omelette was really good so no worries I suppose. Otherwise the look and feel the place is super nice and I'd be happy to stay here again. I also forgot my iPhone charger and one of the front desk attendants was actually really helpful in letting me borrow one.

Very nice hotel and beautiful renovations. Terrific customer service. Will definitely use this hotel again for my next stay.

Suggestions: I would recommend providing bathroom toiletries that offer more gender neutral scents or offer more than one option. Also all the doors slam when shut and make consider noise. Not sure if anything can be done about this.

This is a great hotel. It is very clean. All furnishings and rooms are updated. The beds and bedding were top notch. Located in the middle of Overland Park in KC.

The renovation at the Hotel was outstanding, unique, classy and comfortable. It was our thirty-seventh wedding Anniversary. I had mention that at their ribbon cutting and they remember and sent a wonderful treat up to our room later that evening. Just a wonderful stay, thank you !

Beautiful hotel near everything in Overland Park with easy access to the highway. Loved the service and ambiance of the lobby. Room was really nice with a great view.

This is one very outstanding Hotel. It's always clean staff is always responsive and kind to all. The housekeeping is great. There is always someone sweeping mopping or wiping down. The outside grounds are just as clean and neat as the outside. A true reflection on an excellent management staff.
