Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park/Convention Center

This place is amazing! I've stayed at 10 different Marriotts over the past 2 weeks, and this one really wowed me. The lobby is gorgeous. The pool is indoors. The fitness center is better than most luxury apartment buildings, and the rooms were super clean. Every staff member was amazing and they were very accommodating. There's a massive parking lot with tons of parking, too. I highly recommend this hotel, you get plenty for what you're paying.

The staff was awesome, especially Corey! Very helpful and kind. Our stay here was amazing. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable, and outside patio was great. Will definitely be staying here again!

Great location, but don't like that we must pay for parking when we have a room.

If visiting Kansas City, staff very helpful and friendly on places to visit, and were to eat, from big chains, to small mom and pop's eateries.

I've been staying at this hotel almost every year for the past decade and it's always consistently excellent. Its convenient location next to the Overland Park Convention Center makes it the perfect place to stay for special events, and it's much better value than the neighboring hotels like the Sheraton. This hotel turned me into a Marriott fan for its incredible value and superior service. This hotel is always impeccably clean and well-maintained. In my 10+ years of staying here, I have never had a single issue with tidiness or disrepair. Even the ceilings are spotless which is something you never see in other hotels. The rooms are quiet, filled with lots of high-quality amenities, and the beds are super comfortable. The staff is always very friendly and helpful too. In a world filled with so many run-down hotels, a place like this is refreshing simply because it meets expectations every time without fault. But they even go above and beyond that, which really cements them in my mind as the best hotel to stay at if you're visiting this area. I highly recommend this place and any Courtyard Marriot hotel. You won't find a better stay for your money.

Jasmine is such a kind and friendly employee! From the first call I made yesterday and then seeing her in person she's just amazing! This is one of the best hotel experiences and I've worked in this industry before too! Hands down you got a real gem here. Thank you for the outstanding customer service Jasmine!

Very good stay here. The rooms were clean as always, good selection of snacks even late at night. Allison at the bar was super nice and made excellent drinks. 10/10 would stay here again.

We were only spending the night as part of our mini vacation. We checked in at 4:30 and went our for a steak and lobster meal at a location close by. I wanted 2 queen beds but, none were available. They said they could get a suite with a king size bed and a divan that opened up to a queen size bed. Perfect! It was very comfortable! The ultra bedding for the divan mattress was immaculate and the bed linens were fresh and and smelled so good! The breakfast was Outstanding and Delicious. So many choices. My eggs were cooked to my specifications and there were more choices on the buffet to choose from!! They went above an beyond to cater to our every need. Love This Place!!!!!

Troy at the front desk went above and beyond. He helped us navigate the check-in before arrival through the app, even with some minor speed bumps. Both myself and my pregnant wife had driven over 20 hours And we’re arriving around 12:45 and Troy was there to welcome us and make our experience that much easier. As a business owner, I hope that my employees treat clients with that same level of service.

Great place to stay. They met all my expectations.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. No headboard, which was a bit unusual. Lots of light coming through under the door and had to use a pillow or towel to block it.

We had a phenomenal stay at this lovely hotel in Overland Park. Extremely comfy room, and the perfect size for our trip. Got a high floor as requested, and the early check-in process was extremely smooth. The front desk attendants helped with any questions I had with no hesitation, and were very nice to accommodate our late check out.

We had breakfast in the lobby, and loved the little nooks that had a TV attached to them. Great idea! I want to build that inside my home one day! The business center was great, along with the gorgeous courtyard. The location is perfect as it was right next to the highway making it easy access to get to downtown. Highly Recommend.

I spoke to the morning attendant, after our first night, about our heater having a huge gap around the top, which let in a steady stream of cold outside air. The room never got warm even when I turned it up to 78, because of the cold breeze. The floor was like ice even my slippers didn't help. Unfortunately he did nothing to get it fixed so our second night was just as cold, although I put a couple of my shirts on the gap to slow it down. Room 526s heater needs help. When we checked put on Sunday I told the same morning attendant the same story and he acted as if he knew nothing. I'll stay at a different Marriott next time I go see my Dad and Mom.

Good spot for your stay. The indoor pool and hot tub were great and thr rooms were cozy and welcoming. We had a slight issue with our room A/C and the front desk lady was super helpful and showed empathy and genuine concerns for our comfort.

Had a great stay here. The price for the location was perfect and we were treated very well by the staff. Shout-out to Corey at the front desk, he was legendary, always having a great attitude, giving us good food recommendations, and even bringing us towels and filling our ice bucket for us.

We arrived on Thur - 7/16/20 - 7/19/20 - the 1st night the AC had a fan problem and was very noisy.When we tried to show the cleaning person it stopped so we thought it would be fine. My husband is a very light sleeper and had to put ear plugs in and didn't sleep well. The next day we told the Mgr, she came up and said there was differently a problem and offered us a one night refund or to move to another room. When we came back in from our outing, I felt we should get both - a refund for the night having to deal with the noise and be moved. That is EXACTLY what they did and we so much appreciated it. I would recommend this place to ANYONE! We were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It is exceptionally clean and the people who work here are very kind and care about their patrons. We will differently stay here again, with no hesitation.

Staff was super friendly! It was very clean! Looks to be in a safe part of town we did bit have any issues. Pool and fitness room looked clean but we didn't try either out. Room was very clean, had enough room to move around a little with 3 adults and 2 kids. Beds were very comfortable! My husband and I fit an amazing nights sleep even with our 7 yr old in bed with us. It's only 20 mins from stadium, Over land park mall was only about 15 minds away as well and was best mall I've ever been in. We will definitely stay here again!!!
