Old Shawnee Pizza & Craft Cocktails-Lenexa

We haven't been here in years due to us moving 30 minutes South. Coming back here has reminded us how much we love this place! We will making a trip back here often! Especially for their all day Sunday happy hour specials!

I have lived in Kansas City since 1977 and today was my first time @oldshawneepizza. I have been missing out. It was very good pizza and loved the different selections they offer. My wife had the crab Rangoon pizza and I had the Smoke house pizza. Both were full of flavor and cooked just right. The sales were good but when you add the garlic ranch house dressing, it takes it up to a different level. Ben was our waiter and he did a great job taking care of us. We will be back!!

My local go-to spot for a caprese salad. Unfortunately, it's a seasonal dish (summertime). Off season, I love their house salad dressing (creamy green garlic). Divine and Luscious! It is so popular, you even have the option to purchase the dressing on its own to take home. Best purchase ever! 🤗

Side Note: You won't believe the selection of HIGH END BOURBON at this location! OH MY...💪🏾🥃

First visit here, and it definitely will not be the last. Their bourbon selection as well. Made me drive 45 minutes but the pizza was amazing.

Very generous with the toppings. The daily specials are good, the deal we used was on Thursday, $21.99 Large specialty pizza.

Amazing pizza and garlic knots. Great happy hour specials even on a Saturday. Nothing like having fresh ingredients on a hot and cheesy pizza with cold draft beer for late lunch or early dinner. Wod definitely recommend this little gem. Service was super friendly and fast. Hubby had meatball sub and enjoyed every bite. We will be back.

OSP is one of our favorite stops in the KC area. Pizza and house salad are awesome plus incredible desserts! But the surprising "must have" is crab Rangoon pizza!

The absolute best keto pizza in Kansas City. It's made with a fatty head crust which is amazing and low carb. Highly recommend the cheeseburger pizza It's almost too good to be true

Place and staff is amazing. Everyone is super kind and it feels like one big family. Food and everything is amazing! The bartender is top tier!

My favorite pizza in town. Great service. Really like the crispy thin crust better than the Minskys thick doughie crust. Nice atmosphere.

I really enjoyed the pizza here. I especially liked the cracker crust and the many options for topping your pizza. The staff is friendly. I will come back the next time I'm in the Kansas City area.

The ranch dressing is insanely good.

The bourbon selection is top notch here! On that note, your going to pay some $$ for the good stuff! I highly recommend the crab Rangoon dip, it was amazing. We got an 11” farm fresh pizza. It was also amazing as well as the side salad. Great selection of beers on tap as well. It was my first time here but not my last. My only regret is that I haven’t went here sooner.

FANTASTIC Pizza, crust has a firm but flaky sense to it. Kids meals actually have toppings on their pizzas.
Chill staff, kids were a little on the busy side, but never had even a glance.
Check coupons online, sometimes pays off :)

Here’s the deal, this place has been around for 60 years for a reason! A very delicious reason!!
They are a family friendly, loyal to the customer base, tasty and affordable option for any type of Italian food you are looking for!
Their mainstays are pizza but don’t sleep on their sandwiches either.
Bottom line: go and you’ll be a convert!

Service was fantastic. Very attentive, very informative. I'm excited to go back and enjoy more evenings here and try to work through some of their epic selection of beverages.

Cocktail menu is extensive, whiskey selection is amazing. Only a few beers on tap but a few craft options.

Pizza was good, if a bit dry (just needed more sauce!). I asked for a side of marinara but I think it slipped our server's mind. Will try next time! Crust is on the thin side. Decently crispy but still some chewy bite. Holds its structure pretty well even with an abundance of toppings. Not that anyone is here for my structural analysis of pizza, but I appreciate a pizza that isn't floppy and sloppy!

The OSP Dip was delicious, but also needed more marinara sauce IMO.

Overall, we had a great experience, loved the space, the personality, and the cocktails. I was looking forward to our next visit before we left!

Restaurant was not very busy when we were there Saturday Afternoon. Server was very prompt to greet us at our table.

The best pizza I have had in a long time. So many great specialty pizzas and the lunch deals are great. Salad dressings brought to your table in a squeeze bottle, so no having to ask for extra. This place is great.
