Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park

Great experience. Booked a suite, which comfortably slept my family (including young kids). The kitchenette and countertop were nice. Kids loved the pool & hot tub. Coffee was great. Bar/restaurant excellent. Staff helpful. Location super convenient. Hotel is clean and comfortable. We ate nearby at Q39 (BBQ) and Shack (breakfast). Both were amazing.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times now and the best part about it is the staff. They are super helpful and kind. Luke helped me get checked in, in the middle of the night. I felt frantic as I had my children with me and a few obstacles on the way. But, he was very helpful which I so appreciated. The rooms are always clean. The entire hotel for that matter. But just a few things I noticed was our extra blanket for the pullout bed had holes in it. The toilet seat seemed to be peeling? Little weird. But other than that everything was great. The location is very convenient but a very busy area. We will be back and I would recommend this hotel any day of the week!

Couldve stayed at any hotel on my visit to Overland Park, but I chose this location again, and everything was the same as my previous visit.

The staff is awesome as always. Since we are Members, we were scheduled for check-in @3pm, but was notified that our room was ready hours early, which was a huge plus because we didn't have to spend unnecessary money trying to pass time somewhere else while we waited. We asked for a playpen when we booked the room, but it wasn't one there when we made it to the room. Wasn't a problem at all for the staff to get one for us. Small things like that would me book a stay with this location anytime I travel to Overland Park.

There wasn't any towels when we went to the pool, so we sent a text to the front desk. They were probably busy checking people in or other stuff, which isn't a problem, so I went to the front desk to let them know more towels were needed. The front desk attendant said she would bring them, and she did a short time later. The hotel is usually tidy any other time, but it was alot of guests staying this times for alot of events, so it was some things out of place or some trash here and there. They were on it though, because one minute you'll see something, and the next it's gone.

Unbelievable stay at Hilton for 4 days, I got to check in early, hotels was immaculate, staff was friendly and kind, pool was immaculate, breakfast was amazing, bed and shower amazing, and I accidentally left luggage behind at hotel, staff arrange shipping of luggage to me in 2 days, I cannot believe it, that you Elizabeth

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was nice and the atmosphere at the hotel was nice also. The hotel was close to shopping and other things we were doing in the area.
We will stay again in the future.

The rooms are really nice for the price and the food was also really good and not to expensive but what makes this hotel stand out as the best I have been to is the staff sense the moment k walked in I was helped more then I ever have been and this staff made me feel like a person and not just some money. I did not have much money for food and such on this trip so when I was going to get something and my card declined I thought I would just need to live without. Instead one of the workers got me want I wanted and sent them to my room I couldn’t thank them enough. This hotel may not be super fancy but the staff make it the best I have ever been to and I highly recommend to come here as you will be treated with respect

Wow what can I say, the room was very comfortable, it could used to be refreshed I saw torn wallpaper and unpainted spots on the ceiling and walls, but the beds were extremely comfortable, the staff was incredibly helpful, the breakfast was fresh and very tasty for the omelet but the other items that were in the hot trays weren't very good. The service and the restaurant was out of this world, there's not enough good I could say about this place it was really really nice.

I really like this location and the hotel also. But the true gem was the staff. I had a small issue when I first checked in but Bridgett helped me fix fast and was so nice the rest of our stay. The Saturday morning staff was super friendly and everyone just made the stay even better. If I come back to this area I will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was very clean. Check in process was smooth and on time. The one thing I really want to shout out to Daniel which was the cook at the breakfast time. He was outstanding. He was an amazing cook. Even shared with us his Grandmas recipe bread pudding. He cooked homemade style breakfast. On the last day we was there he made us peach fritters. They were amazing. Our world needs more people working like Daniel. He really enjoyed his job and made sure we had nothing but awesome service for our breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and especially to check if Daniel is working and take time to talk to him.

So the rooms are nice but nothing fancy. Could use a little updating but it's very clean and I love the staff esp breakfast hostess and cook but I have to say the staff from housecleaning to Mgr front desk and anypart of it has always been helpful no matter what I ask and willing to make me happy even if it's switching rooms which only happened 1 time and I stayed here alot so 1 time isn't bad they always smile and are polite as well as professional. It's close to my work and has a convenient location for all kinds of things from good to entertainment and shopping. I have yet to have a bad experience with this place and the staff I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel in that area esp if yout working an event at the Overland Park convention center cause the place is nice not too expensive but definitely in the middle their it's close so it's perfect for anyone doing events their it's walking distance plus it has a pool and hot tub and fitness center. So give it a try if it's within your budget I would be surprised if you were actually disappointed. The only part you might not like is their isn't free breakfast but they do have breakfast with a good chef and great hostess so it kind of balances that issue out.

Clean rooms. Good customer service. Skip the food - not worth it.

Location staff were very nice and friendly. Location had some intermittent technical issues with the WiFi and smartphone keys throughout the week of my stay. However, when it worked, it was great. I would have rated the location and room 5 stars, but felt that the carpet and furniture were a bit worn. While the breakfast wasn't free, I felt the service and food quality were well worth the cost.

Overall, I had a great experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park location; It all started with your incredibly helpful, kind front staff member Kelly. From the moment we walked through the door, Kelly went above and beyond making the check in process quick and easy and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect for a quick weekend getaway. This kind of service alone will definitely be bringing us back!

Great place to stay and be able to get away from home but still have all the comforts we're all so accustomed to.

The 24 store is great, especially after a long day of activities and really not wanting to go too far for a little midnight snack.

We also used the pool every day, well mostly the hot tub but a nice luxury for anyone that just wants to relax.

I was a bit disappointed that the breakfast wasn't included. It wasn't much; I believe only $11.99; however, it should be included and just remind guests to tip their server. Just a thought.

Came in with a group for a softball tournament. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Felt welcome as soon as we checked in. Will gladly stay here again when in the area.

I loved this place the beds was super comfy. They also have a very big food selection, laundry services, hot breakfast, a pool and if you sit outside at night it is peaceful I loved that part the most.

Friendly staff! The front desk staff was great to work with, the bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and prompt. They gave great recommendations and provided great service. The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom is nice and shower had good water pressure. I used the gym - great AC. It was a 90° day and that gym was cold! Overall, comfortable place to stay for a night out of town for business. I'll be back!

Over 70 Hilton nights for me so far this calendar year. I'm picky, but I care more about clean and service then updates. This HGI was very clean! This is an older Hilton Garden. It definitely needs some updates. Nice large newer TVs in the room. Nice hot tub! Small, but good bar area. Luke was outstanding. He filled in as a bartender one night, not his area of specialty, but he was great. David was bartending the next night and did a fantastic job. The cook was wonderful and accommodating. I don't know his name. I understand he works at a Mexican restaurant or two during the day. He accommodated a special request to meet my diabetic needs and hit it out of the ballpark with a fantastic meal. All of my interactions with the front desk were fantastic. Skylena was very sweet helpful. One suggestion would be add a couple of tap beers. Other than that this is definitely a hotel I will return to.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. Rooms were comfortable for our family, just as expected. Service was very friendly and helpful with all of accommodations. Breakfast and service was excellent. And the indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect on the rainy day stay over we had. We will definitely come back
