Holiday Inn & Suites Overland Park-Conv Ctr, an IHG Hotel

We stayed because of the convenience of the hospital as the husband had an early morning surgery. The room was great. Bed and pillows were some of the better ones I stayed on. The room was clean. I loved that they use Dove products in the bathroom because I have sensitive skin and hotels are usually hit or miss on if I can use their offered products. My room came with the breakfast buffet but there is a cost associated with. The breakfast buffet is a standard buffet: eggs, meat, biscuits/gravy, fresh fruit etc. I don’t think I would pay the associated cost I believe it was between 12 to 13 per person. My morning check out person was great. The check in person left something to be desired. When we arrived ahead of didn’t acknowledge us or even tell us she would be with us shortly she just ignored us for several minutes. The cost was higher than we normally like to pay but the convenience made us ignore it. Was around the $150 to $160 range.

This would not stop me from booking again as I always like to give several tries before not booking with a hotel again.

I have been coming to this hotel for years and they always have superb service, excellent cleanliness and the location is great for my stay.
Rizza and Rachel always greet me with a smile and friendliness to make sure my accommodations are great. They go above and beyond all expectations and make me feel like family.
The fitness center has good modern equipment and was well-maintained. Breakfast buffet is delicious and staff is attentive and friendly. The Bar and Room service was prompt and good food as well.
The Staff is main reason I keep coming back. To be recognized is special and I do very appreciate them!

Nice rooms, quiet, breakfast was a bit pricey for a limited buffet. Bed was okay, just a but sagging. Front desk staff was very nice. Very quick check out was appreciated.

Easy interstate access. Was there on the weekend, so very quiet. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean!!
Only downside is limited dining nearby and no " free" breakfast. But you can buy it for 12.95.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this business rated hotel. Just brought my 5 yr old daughter to kc for spring break and overwhelmed by the great hotel. Greeted by a fantastic front desk clerk Rizza and taken aback by the room for the value. Definitely recommend this amazing hotel with indoor heated pool and gym if passing through Kansas City

We stay here twice a year for medical appointments and it is a great hotel! Always super clean, friendly staff, and overall just a great hotel!

This Hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable Everyone we encountered was nice but Rizza and Twinkle are nice, kind , friendly and professional Twinkle was training at the front desk and she did a great job checking us in This is a true 5 star stay!! We will stay here anytime we are in town

My buggiest requirement is that the hotels are properly clean, because I have little children. This hotel met my expectations and beyond. The beds are plush, and the pure white cotton sheets are exactly the type of things I need for good rest. Overall very pleased, will come back again, when visiting KC))
The 12pm checkout is also always a plus!!

Only negative was shower 🚿 head pressure was very low, because the main spout never redirected fully. Both had pouring water out of them.
But it wasn’t a deal breaker.

We stayed here for a very sad and traumatic experience..my father's death and funeral 💔 I cannot say enough good things about how the staff was so accommodating and kind. They allowed us space to be a family in private and everything was very easy with our accommodations which made this just a bit easier. Thanks especially to Rachel she was super kind d and gracious.

Since the reviews was really helpful in order to make a decision so I’m also contributing with it. The room was clean, bathroom clean, good bed and pillows. That’s what I was looking for since we came with a kid. Breakfast was ok, don’t expect much, only the basic. Other than that, good stay.

We have stayed at this hotel before and love it's convenient location to family. This stay I needed an early check-in as I was flying in from NY and had an event I needed to get ready for. I called the manager and he was so friendly and helpful. He was very professional and handled my adjustment with ease. Thank you, DeMarcus. We will continue to stay here as it is very clean and the staff is amazing. The breakfast was delicious and well managed.

The staff of this fine establishment were consistently friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The pool is clean but just wished Holiday Inns had hot tubs! The breakfast at this location did cost $10. but it was top quality with nice plates and silverware. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. She kept the coffee cup filled and was certainly deserving of a kind tip! We will certainly stay here again on future visits to the Kansas City Metro.

Rooms were nice.But they only gave us two towels and washings for 2 days. Upon asking the gave us more though. Haven't used the pool.But it looks like a nice area.Enjoyed the stay, it was quiet and was able to sleep well

Other than traffic noise, I have no complaints. Very nice room! Staff even suggested a really good Italian restaurant not too far away.

Had a wonderful stay here. Great location.
The hotel was super clean. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows were nice. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Megan especially was very helpful with making my reservation and checking in. There was another girl on the night shift that was super helpful too, I cant remember her name. But they were both very pleasant. You can tell the staff really cares about the hotel and the guests. Talked to a couple of the cleaning staff, they were friendly too. The pool is very nice and clean. There was a good amount of people checked in but the hotel was super quiet. I will definitely stay here again!!

Very clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food is so good and filling.

The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The whole place was really clean and appeared well kept up. (I suspect this is a newer building, so that should be easy still!) I didn't use the wifi or try the breakfast so I can't comment on those things.

This hotel has the best hospitality! It was a busy weekend for them and I felt bad for them but you could not tell they were tired or anxious. The service was great, the house cleaners are amazing and I can't wait to come back up at the end of the summer to visit a friend! Thank you for a great, clean, and fun experience!

This location accommodated our entire softball team for a week, setting up a block of rooms was a snap! The rooms were sizable and very clean! All of the staff were extremely friendly & helpful, there wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do for our group, including providing complimentary breakfast every morning without us even asking! The location was also great, super easy to hop on the interstate and many restaurants close by. Nice pool & bar area to relax in. This was a top notch stay!
