SpringHill Suites by Marriott Overland Park Leawood

Was just here for a work conference during the week and we had a wonderful time. The rooms were very spacious, the staff extremely friendly, and the location was great for our group! I hope we get to come back and stay here for our next meeting!

Very nice place. Staff is accommodating and pleasant. Rooms are different but in such a good way. Had a great stay. Left my jewelry and watch in the room and the manager was so kind to return it to me and then email to make sure I received it. This is a great hotel in a nice neighborhood. Would stay there again

Springhills Suites is one of the best small Hotels I've ever stayed in.

On October 29th, I arrived in Kansas city with only the Clothes on my Back after losing everything in Hurricane Ian.

Jason and Dennis, along with the entire stall, made sure that all needs were met.

A year and a half later, I returned to Springhills Suites again as I made plans to return home.

Once again, the staff was magnificent.

The morning Breakfast is perfect.

The Facilities are clean and will maintain.

I will definitely stay there again.

This is our second stay at SpringHill Suites @ Overland Park Leawood and we are still impressed. Grounds and facility are clean, well taken care of, and esthetically pleasing. Rooms are spacious and our queen suite offered two queen beds and a pull out trundle/couch option; which worked well for our two teens. The mattress were comfortable and the pillows were the standard hotel quality, I bring my own :). Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in shower offerings were clean and free of mildew/mold. Plus they smelled AMAZING and left our hair/bodies clean. Pool was clean and well taken care of; we love the fact that it is a salt water pool so no overwhelming chlorine smell in the pool area. Breakfast offers your typical US options.

After an 8 day road trip with family of 4 adults, staying in various types of accommodations (some houses & some hotels), this was an extremely pleasant find. Our room was one of the largest standard hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The separate living space that transitioned into 2 sleeping spaces was fantastic, allowing our group room to spread out and relax/sleep. Lots of space for each of our bags, hooks for toiletry bags, mini fridge, guest laundry, ice machines, gym were all used by members in our group. This hotel is very clean, fresh finishes, and quiet...I think it was pretty well booked but we didn't hear any noise from other guests.

I would like to add 2 areas where I think this hotel could improve. One was, the door lock on the bathroom didn't work and appeared to be damaged. The other is, the website shows the sofa providing 2 seperate areas to sleep with the top cushion acting as one space as well as the pull-out trundle bed made up into a bed for a second space, both shown with white sheets on the website but in our room there was only one set of bedding left in the room and not two which left one sleeping space without any bedding. When we asked for a second set, we were only given a fitted & flat sheet but no pillow or blanket. I feel by showing both areas as being made up into a bed on the website that the guest shouldn't be made to feel as though they are asking a lot for a second set of bedding and to be declined a full set saying there wasn't any more bedding available. Small issue, we made it work but I was a little disappointed in how that was addressed.

My family and I used to live in Kansas City and always stayed at this location when we came back to visit. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past two years and we have always had a 5-star experience. Dennis, Jason, and the entire team go above and beyond to create a wonderful guest experience. The rooms are very clean, the amenities are great, and the proximity to shopping, dining, and entertainment is wonderful. My family and I will be moving back to KC and we'll miss getting to stay here (maybe we'll book a staycation for nostalgia sake). I cannot give a higher recommendation for this hotel and its incredible staff! Great job!

Had an A+ stay visiting KC for the week. Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was great. My office is located 12 miles away but the hotel is convenient and there’s a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. I will definitely be back on my next business trip.

I stayed at the SpringHill Suites location in Leawood the weekend of 9/16. Check-in went rather smoothly, the room and bathroom were clean. I was on the top floor so noise above me wasn't an issue. There was a youth soccer team that arrived Saturday night and there was lots of bumping around and doors slamming but the front desk said their "lights out" time was 11:00pm and it seemed to calm down right about that time. The bathroom in the double queen suite was a little tight for my liking but not terribly inconvenient. I plan to visit KC every 4 to 6 weeks and I will continue to stay at this location unless something goes terribly wrong with the hotel or customer service.

The staff was super helpful and responsive. The hotel was booked with couples and families. We were staying with two young kiddos and my parents, and the hotel staff was so patient with all the requests. The pool was perfect for young kids to use and wasn't packed and the breakfast had so many options. The location was great no matter where you were exploring in the KC area. Would recommend this hotel and thanks again to the amazing staff!

I shall adjust my review upon further direction from the staff. Currently there is no working hot water in the entire building. So long to taking a warm shower and a bed. I can pay myself and sleep in my vehicle and it would be the same as staying at this Springhill suites. Marriott needs to step up and get this fixed both on their end and ours. Putting up a sign that says they currently don't have any hot water doesn't let them off the Hook from providing exemplary customer service. Will see in the next day or 2 what happens.
UPDATE: hot water was fixed shortly after my first post. Everything so far has been great. No hot water issues.

This is a newer Marriott so everything looked great. Nice and clean. The service was good. Front desk as well as housekeeping. Very good location.

This is the best hotel breakfast I’ve had since COVID started! All the food was warm, fresh, and ready. It’s real breakfast with lots of options- not just those yucky bagged breakfasts.

In addition, when you walk in the lobby, it’s smells amazing! If I could bottle up that smell and bring it home, I would!

This is a very comfortable hotel. It’s nice and clean. The staff is professional. We loved the pool area. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the KC area!

Room was well cleaned when we arrived. Everything looks new. The TV had our name on it which was a nice surprise. I had no problem connecting to wifi. Just a heads up if you are planning on watching Netflix or Amazon prime movies in your free time, you need to have your own account information. The hotel does not have a login. The breakfast had slightly less variety than other hotels but still enough.

Spot on, clean, wonderful front desk, comfortable beds.

I have stayed here the last few business trips to KS and will make it my home away from home moving forward. The proximity to all the things I utilize and all the places I need to be is perfect. There's a great running/biking trail nearby, a park, restaurants in walkable distance, and the gym on site is clean and well equipped. The staff here is exceptional also and there is a well stocked barin the lobby for the post meeting decompression.

Went up to help our sister move. This hotel is AMAZING! One of the cleanest, most efficient, and customer friendly places I have stayed in years. Their COVID precautions are serious, obvious, and enforced beyond the 5 star we stayed in a month ago for vacation. They knew us by name immediately and checked on us multiple times. Wish other companies could take lessons from this place. Will be a customer each time we travel to this area! Well done!!!

A great new hotel! Love that the pool is open, even during COVID times. Really, really, really good breakfast options. Lots of other hotels have a horrible grab and go, but this hotel has muffins and fresh eggs and sausage that you are able to get. Would recommend staying here! Great staff as well, especially the breakfast attendant.

Highly recommend!! Beautiful hotel, and team members were outstanding. Everything from the lobby area to the large rooms surpassed all expectations.

This hotel is the reason I love Marriott. Extremely clean, modern, comfortable. Continental breakfast was well organized and followed extensive COVID protocols to keep customers safe. Location is next to a highway though, so it can get loud.

Great place to stay. Clean and close to everything.
