Aloft Leawood-Overland Park

Took my two service animals for New Year’s Eve. We live in Kansas City, Missouri and the gunfire and fireworks on NYE & July 4th is ridiculous. It will always be Johnson county for us. No matter where. Aloft was gracious and a pet friendly hotel. We didn’t her a chance to enjoy the amenities, but it was a quiet space my dogs needed.

Great location and a great price. Walk to lots of good restaurants and shops. Coffee bar across the street or a panera nearby for breakfast. Easy to park in the garage. A standard Aloft hotel. Rooftop bar with views. Cozy fireplace to sit next to. Pool table.

Very well maintained hotel. Nice view from our room. Very great area as shopping and restaurants are in close proximity. 5 stars for sure!

The place was amazing other then there was no room service or any way to order food except for a couple of very specific times

My dad and I stayed at aloft for about 4 days for tennis. As we both were exhausted on our second night we took our anger out on the front desk associate because we came back to our room that we previously requested the day before our room to be cleaned. it was not we had no-more clean towels and our sheets had stains on them, and the smell on the floor we were staying on was so moldy smelling we felt sick we were furious. —The front desk lady YaYa was amazing.(probably one of the nicest hotel staff we have ever been in touch with). She was very patient and understanding. She moved us rooms and even upgraded our room to one of the nicest that we’ve ever stayed in at aloft. She didn’t throw us to the curb after that either, she even went out her way and delivered us extra towels and bedding herself later that night and reassured us that the rest of our stay we would be able to enjoy it. She interacted with us and that alone made the rest of our stay so much better. She has the brightest smile and honestly we forgot about all of the negative situations that happened there because she made everything so much better. My father and I always look at the little things and her doing just that made our entire stay. She deserved this review and thanks to her Aloft will continue getting our business if we can expect such service as she provided to us.

The location is great if you want to be in walking my distance of a few restaurants, movie theater, and mall. The rooms were a little rundown and the water pressure was horrible. Service was very attentive and polite. The prices for drinks at the bar were not too bad.

I loved how clean the room was. The carpet looked very clean, which is something I'm very squimish about. Bath also looked thoroughly cleaned. Bed was extremely comfy and we slept very well. Very nice and simple decor. Pretty good view. The only thing was that one of the 2 rooms I was given smelled pretty bad, but was given a different room after I asked to change. They are able to connect rooms, and we ended up being given the connecting room to one of the two rooms we were originally given, which was pretty cool. I would absolutely return.

Manager was super helpful, staff was really helpful in general. Fun place. Room was near elevator but I never hear a sound from outside the room. Peaceful rest here and accommodating. Clean common area and room. I would stay again. The area is super cute with lots of resturaunts, ice cream and Sat Farmers Market and movie night in park for summer at least.

Fantastic area with a qnd story balcony, bar, etc. Great access to entertainment and food. Parking garage located right behind hotel, and street parking available in the area

Our hotel room was excellent! We were greeted with a charcuterie board. The staff upfront were super kind. We grabbed breakfast there in the morning which was amazing and played pool. They even have board games available to customers and an amazing bar! Had such an amazing stay. When I’m back in town I’ll definitely be back!

Check in was fantastic. Super friendly. Liked the hotel and the location. A couple of minor issues, such as a light was burnt out, the shower handle was loose, and the safe didn’t work, but it didn’t cause a problem during our stay. Desk was nice after reporting them and said they would send maintenance up but it wasn’t necessary for us and just wanted to make sure they were aware so that it could be fixed before the next guests. Loved the lobby area and the restaurant and shops nearby. I would stay again.

Our stay at Aloft was beyond anything we expected! The staff, especially Rose and Nick, were incredibly accommodating and friendly! The room was clean, modern and comfortable! The showers' water pressure was awesome! The breakfast sandwiches were tasty! I highly recommend this hotel! 5 stars!

This is an amazing place to stay. My family and I love it! They have a little sandwich bar for you to grab a light lunch. They have a gym so that you do not have to mess up your routine. They have a pool for the kiddos and us adults too. They coolest part is that you can Check in, check out, and even unlock your room door with an app so you do not have to worry about losing your room keys! The staff is so nice. The atmosphere was exceptional. I would recommend for anyone to stay here!

We stayed at the Aloft hotel while attending a family function in the area. The hotel was clean, attractive, and well taken care of. Most notably, however, was that the staff was consistently exceptional. Staff at the front desk were efficient, very friendly, in very accommodating. There was a clear and consistent understanding that their mission was to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They did a great job of that. We will definitely stay there again when in the area, and will recommend this to our friends.

I spent 3 weeks at this hotel for work and it was a great experience. The staff especially went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Our shuttle driver was awesome and was incredibly helpful and kind. The assistant GM was very involved and always making an effort to resolve any concerns or issues with great customer service. Would recommend.

Stayed at the Aloft during a business trip. Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is good for grab and go.

The rooms are in the process of being renovated but I could not tell what was wrong with the "old" style rooms. Overall I'd stay here if I traveled to KC again.

I've not stayed here but my friend works nights so I frequently drop her off or pick her up; I've yet to go ice skating but it's on the to do list! It's a beautiful Lil hidden gem not everyone knows about. Property is well kept and people are always nice

The rooms are nice and comfy. You can hear people talking on the street but it's not bad. The area is full of things to do and currently a ice skating rink very close. The hotel desk is up on the second floor so you don't get those awkward looks from the employees when you go to your room. There's a couple adjoining restaurant and bar. Parking is not attached but is a covered structure and not a long walk at all.

I’ve been staying at ALOFT Leawood-Overland Park KS for the past 2 1/2 years and it’s always a pleasure to be treated with such great respect. On one side of the hotel is RA-Sushi on the other side is a steak house and around the entire hotel you have two great outdoor malls for shopping and burning tons of calories. After your go about’s you come and relaxes at your hotel room or perhaps chill at the bar for happy hour. I’m super picky and the Aloft hotel in KS is the best hotel when visiting Kansas City.

Sydney welcomed me with genuine warmth and was the consummate professional, excellent service and customer care by Carlos as well. Thaddeus was a great bartender. The rooms are sleek and modern. Good bed and bedding, workstation desk with data ports, nice bathroom, shower, mini fridge. Fun lobby with pool table, breakfast area, huge deck with fireplace. Indoor pool, nice gym, workout room. Great location, plenty of restaurants, shopping etc within walking distance. I really enjoy this area and the Aloft hotel.
