The Flower Farm

Great place to get fall mums! The plants are large, healthy, and much more reasonably priced than big box stores, supermarkets, or other garden centers. This business is out in the country but very easy to find.

People there are nice, helpful. Prices are very good. Can get busy, day we were there had whole place to ourselves. Which, was a first, but very nice. Got almost everything we were looking for; garden and flowers. Their dog is very friendly

A friend of mine told me about this place and their amazing collection of rare plants, so of course I had to check it out.

It is a little bit of a drive but totally worth it! As soon as you walk in, it is sensory overload of exquisite beautiful plants…and then your are greeted by the residential fur babies! I WAS IN HEAVEN! We were greeted my a older gentleman, who asked if it was our first time and then gave us the grand tour. He walked us through the green houses and explained their lay out and system on where plants were and which were available for sale. The collection of plants and the care they take was absolutely refreshing. There was nothing commercial or sales pressuring about the experience. Every customer felt like a plant friend where we were all talking about our favorites while getting great plant care info from another gentleman that worked there. He took time with us to talk plant care one on one and gave us some tips that he found worked well for his propagating process.

My biggest regret is that I did not get any of the employees names so I can call them our personally. But everyone was great, friendly and helpful that worked there. Prices I felt were completely reasonable given the care they take in their plants.

And yes wear shoes your don’t mind getting dirty, and be ready to fall in love with plants all over again!

I've heard so many good things about this place, I finally made my way out to see what they were all about. Their plants are impressive and look very healthy. They have a lot of propagation tables and benches with beautiful and rare plants. Of course all the ones I wanted were marked "not for sale". Maybe on my next visit it'll be available to purchase. They also have an adorable greenhouse cat. I'm not sure what her name is but she let me scratch her head for 3 seconds before she hissed at me lol overall a good visit even though I left empty handed

The best place to buy flowers grown with loving care I have ever been to. Only place I ever buy my flowers. Amazing , helpful, and kind, hard-working family.

Don’t touch the props. Just don’t do it….I should’ve read the reviews before I arrived😂 Beautiful breath taking place! Amazing plants and selections. I was overwhelmed with joy visiting this farm! Adorable pup hanging around as well as the cats. Very fun place to visit!

Best prices in JoCo. Many selections of perrenial & annual, including tropicals. And always some fun pepper and tomato starters that I wouldn't have grown from seeds myself that I like to try every year. Great service- both helpful and knowledgeable.

My first visit here. Absolutely felt like a kid in a candy shop. Beautiful plants and great prices. Definitely will go back soon. Thank you.

You won’t find a better selection year round of annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetable, and tropical. Great prices too! Be sure to enjoy the jungle room.

That was my first time visiting the flower farm. And the visit was beyond my expectation. In this place, there is a rule: DON’T touch anything that’s on the tray for propagation or on the propagation table. That tells me how serious this nursery takes care their plant babies and provides the best quality plants to their customers. The ready ones definitely have TONS OF ROOTS or ready for repot (you can see the roots say hi outside of the pot…) And yet they provide the quality plants with reasonable price in this KC area. They also have lots of healthy tropical plants. Although most of them were not ready for sale, I still enjoyed watching those beautiful and healthy plant babies.
Besides that, as a cat parent, it’s fun to find different cats sleeping in different corners and be amazed that how cats can be so friendly with plants lol.
So it’s like a tour in this amazing jungle greenhouse, and I got some “souvenirs”back the way to home.
I will definitely return during warmer spring season.

This is my favorite nursery and worth the drive. It's a treat to see what is growing and the massive surrounding plants around the green houses. Keith is also fun to chat with! The rest of the staff is also very friendly.

Best place for plants in the area, maybe even in Kansas. Always helpful and nice with fantastic prices.

This place was so cool just to walk around (and yeah we did buy some things) but really it was like a whole experience

Keith and Roberta are wonderful folks that have the best plants around. If you’re lucky, you might get to hear Roberta singing to the flowers!

I love this place! It’s were I buy all the plants for my garden. The green houses are beautiful, all of the colors and smells are wonderful.

Absolutely love this place. I went here at least a few times a week big and pregnant, and finally got to go back after having my baby. They always have the best plants, super sweet people that work their butts off. I could not stay long but I got 2 amazing plants. Super healthy and beautiful! Sad to see some low reviews, this is the best nursery we have around. Also the best priced.

Unique nursery. Definitely bring shoes with good traction and that you don’t mind getting mud on. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they have an amazing selection of unique plants. Prices are very fair. Found plants for much less than other nurseries around. The staff was super helpful. A lot of plants are on propagation tables and you can’t purchase them yet, but I loved being able to see everything they have in progress. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who showed us around - he was great! I really felt like this was worth the drive from downtown KC.

Everyone was friendly even though they were working to have plants ready for the season in a couple months. There are some nice house plants including large tropicals.
