Quality Inn Merriam Kansas City

Floors are not carpeted, so everything looked modern and clean. A few two- or three-star "hotels" I stayed in were humid, but this one didn't. The only thing I think Quality Inn should fix is the length of the curtain. My room window was facing the outdoor light, which shone through the cracks around the short curtain. I'm still giving 5 stars because I didn't mind it, but for those who need complete darkness to fall asleep, you might want to bring an eye mask.

Peaceful. The rooms Extremely clean, up to date. The bed did Just have two pillows it had for big pillows. No Riff-raff, hanging around. They had an ironing board on a rack and iron on a rack also, in the closet. Breakfast, if you didn't find any eat there? You wasn't hungry in the first place. Great Breakfast Do it yourself, buffet. Is a great place to stop and lay your head at and eat. Great location too

By the time we stayed here, we had stayed in 9 different places on our trip.
The Quality Inn was the first place where it had everything, and it all worked!
We travel with our two big dogs, and we had no problems walking them around the grounds, and there was a trash can near the side door for the poop bags.
The front desk folks stock quarters for the guest coin-op washer and dryer that are in the vending center.

After staying in 6 budget motels in Kansas I can say that this is a good bargain, Room well appointed and newer than building, hot breakfast
very good . tv/wi-fi’a/c, bed, TV big, floor new,,pool checked 4x/day, Tej at the front desk helped me with several sticky problems.

Now, this is what you I call top notch service. First of all it was so clean in the lobby and smelled so great. The desk staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and water hot. There was even enough towels. As I was checking out Vicky made sure we had an excellent stay. I will definitely book here again. And it was our Anniversary. Quick getaway with star treatment

Probably one of the nicer QI we’ve stayed in! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and it seems to be recently renovated. It was also very quiet with lots of parking. They had well-lit parking lots and surveillance, so we felt very safe.

Very unfriendly staff! Man at front desk repeatedly asked the same questions because he wasn't really paying attention to customers because he was speaking to a friend or something on his cell phone!

Starts off as awful, but due to the diligence of a single worker, my entire viewpoint on customer service has changed. We were told that if we didn't show up for our reservation by a certain time in the early morning that we weren't allowed to check in without reserving the hotel for another night, even though we just needed three or four hours of sleep before the next stretch. That was pretty stupid in my opinion because we had PAID for the room. it shouldn't matter what time we got to the room, even if it was 20 minutes before checkout time, we still had the room for those 20 minutes. My employee and I ended up sleeping in a random parking lot after driving 13 hours, having a near fatal accident, and being subjected to the absolute worst luck on the road. I was barely into my tiny car-crushed leg-cold and contorted car sleep, when the phone rang. Hoping it was God calling to take me home I answered, instead it was Madison informing me that she was just checking up on us because she heard of our situation and wanted to make sure that we were taking care of for the night. The woman offered everything under the sun when she heard of our situation, and gave us a 1:00 p.m. check out just to make sure we had plenty of sleep before our next trip. If y'all don't IMMEDIATELY give her a raise and make her president or something, then I don't know what you're doing in the business industry at all. Cuz that's a pretty dumb move.

Can't say enough nice things about this place and the staff!!! It definitely shouldn't be listed as a 2 star hotel!!!

Great place to stay, clean and friendly staff. Upon checking out I thought I lost my brand new cell phone and the front desk manager, Madison, went out of her way to call my phone and help me look for it. It’s hard to find such great customer service in general, especially post-pandemic. Found the phone and super happy with how my stay went. Thanks again, Madison. You are AWESOME!

The rooms were very nice. The bed was very comfortable.The process of checking in was very professional. During check out, the manager was very nice too. I will definitely stay there again on the next trip. This is how customer service at a hotel is supposed to be. Keep up the good work.

Super clean n super soft sheets n towels. Loved the outdoor pool, very nice, PET FRIENDLY, SMOKE OUTSIDE. Quiet...zzzz.. The staff is exceptional/superior. We will be back!!! THANK YOU

I've stayed here many times and the employees are very nice, the beds are super comfy, rooms are always clean, the ac is extremely cold 🥶 and I love it! They also have a pool and delicious breakfast every morning! I always enjoy my stay and the dogs do too 😀 it's in a great location as well and Dennys is super close too.

Very decent hotel for about $80. My bed was super comfortable, water pressure was adequate and lots of outlets for all our electronics including the Cpap machines.
Very quiet, lots of parking, staff was friendly and helpful. For the first time ever, I forgot my toiletries and I had to go down and ask for deodorant and toothpaste.
Breakfast was decent and best of all, free.
I often travel alone, I felt safe and at ease.

Clean and quiet rooms, friendly staff, feel safe as well, and the breakfast food was good, with a good selection. Although, from a Diabetic's point of view, would like to see more sugar free or lower sugar selections. However, with that in mind, it's still a great place to stay. Location is great, about 10-15 minutes, more or less, from most events. The hotel is also pet friendly. I would definately recommend!

Young man at the front desk was very kind, despite my being a little cranky after driving for 14 hours. I stayed in room 201. The room was a little dated, but clean (I checked everything with a flashlight) and in decent repair. Everything works as it should. I've stayed in much much worse places for $80/night. Only complaint is that where the showerhead comes through the wall was open, but that's not a big deal in my opinion.

Amazing staff. So friendly, accomodating, and just hospitable. They helped us last minute qhen we had a problem with another hotel. Will definitely stay there again when in KC

Nice clean rooms. Recommend getting reservations in the area. Breakfast ok but just yogurt, and sugar snacks. Juice was good. No pancakes or waffles they all use Covid as excuse not to have. Pool already closed even with 90 degree weather

We have stayed here several times and it's always amazing. We came from another hotel, that was horrible, to a peaceful and very clean environment. Thank you all, for caring about doing your job!!

We live on the road with my husband's work we and stay in lots of hotels, this one was great. Staff were nice and knowledgeable. The room was great . It was clean, bed was comfortable, and our Dachshund, Dudley was welcomed.
