Comfort Inn & Suites Shawnee - Kansas City

Brenda and Shawn were very polite, professional,hospitable, and personable they made the stay there amazing. The breakfast was excellent. This was my first time coming to Kansas and I enjoyed the entire experience. I would definitely come back for sure!

This hotel doesn’t have the rating it deserves. It’s located right off the highway, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is served daily & it’s DELICIOUS! The staff is friendly & consistently goes above & beyond.

What sticks out the most about this hotel is the staff. Casey has a way of making you feel like you’ve been friends for years & he’s just wonderful, there’s no way around it. The manager, Dustin, has gone out of his way to make sure that all of our needs are met. He’s great with communication & putting you at ease making this an all around great stay. 10/10

We had a great experience with everything from checkin to checkout. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was fun for all the kids and breakfast was great! The general manager was working almost the entire two days except for the time we were sleeping. He personally made sure everything we needed was taken care of. We have family in the area and come to KC multiple times a year and will be using this hotel for future visits!

This is our second year throwing my daughter’s birthday party here. It was a success! The manager was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was friendly and extremely helpful! We’ll definitely be back again next year, I am so satisfied with how easy and convenient it is to have a birthday party here.

My wife and I spent a week here. Very nice rooms and breakfast. Brian and Dustin were especially kind and helpful! I really appreciate their help and attention to detail, along with being great people! Strongly recommend the staff and facility. Thanks for a great stay!

Staff was friendly. Room was neat and clean. Breakfast was Superior. They had a large variety to choose from. Enjoyed my stay. Indoor pool was really nice.

We stayed here and the New Hotel was really nice. Clean, professional, and a nice hot breakfast with all the amenities. We added a second night because it was close to all the stores and restaurant.

Great people Dustin picked me up from Peterbilt and gave me a ride back and fourth. Breakfast is very good. Very respectful coming in the hotel Brian was very polite when I checked in.

This Is One Of The Veryyyy Best Hotels I've Ever Stayed At.. I'm a lady truck driver broke down in my truck. In Kansas City. They come picked me up from Peterbilt Dealership yesterday.to bring me to the hotel. Dustin Is Amazing..
Booked the room for 3 night. Today I called the front desk. Dustin answered the phone. Which was a big relief an I asked he who. They would recommend to use for a taxi.. long story short. He give me a ride again to the eye docter. Which cannot say how much I appreciate him. Truly Dustin an This Place Is Heaven Sent..
New management I hear.so don't believe any of the old reviews. This is a nice hotel. I travel coast to coast.

The gentlemen name Shawn who checked us in he was very carring and sincere down to earth person. Our room was very clean and smelled good.Love the bed nice and firm for my back! Breakfast was excellent and had assortment to choose from, biscuit and gravy was sooooo good had 2nd helping ,real eggs too and asst Breakfast meat from beverage to fruits. Again I like to thank Shawn front desk for giving us such nice welcoming and that we decided to stay another day here at the Comfort Inn. Highly recommend anyone from here or out of state to come here,no regrets wonderful staff and if you needed anything they are willing to accommodate your needs obvious they are very carring!! Hard to find people like them may be a buisness but they let you know you have the Comfort here! GLAD we came here to the Comfort in!!🤗😚🥰 ignore the negative comments here I stayed here and very pleasant those who post negatives comments shows how ignorant they are just to make the establishment look bad! Front desk manager was very helpful. Accommodated our every need,request, and went well above and beyond to help not only my family but the multiple of families and children. Folded laundry as we needed it.. I can't express the level of care and respect we were given. Front desk Shawn is a gem and a quality person

Great. Big parking lot. Friendly lobby. Staff was wonderful. Rooms were very nice and big. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and more.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn, to celebrate my granddaughter's birthdays. It has been a tradition to go to the Great Wolf Lodge, to celebrate, but due to their "new" fees, we will no longer be staying with them. I tried to find somewhere with an indoor pool, and found this place with a indoor pool including a water slide. We experienced some issues with our stay, and after reaching out to the Manager (Denessa Threewitt), she contacted me on her day off to resolve my issue. I cannot say enough about the above the norm customer service of Ms. Threewitt, she went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. I have a feeling we have found our new "Family Tradition" spot. Thank you Ms. Threewitt, and thank you Comfort Inn for setting the bar for your hotels. In the current world of, "it's not my job!" and " I don't know how to help you!' It's refreshing to find Great Managers do still exist. As we say in Hawaii, Chee Hoo!!!!

The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is softer than most hotels. The staff is accommodating, and super friendly! We asked for extra coffee and got plenty. My husband and I would definitely come back. We are truck drivers and stay at a lot of hotels around the country and this hotel is one of the best for the price. Plus the Halloween decorations are super cute.

I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions within this past month. The manager at this facility knows her team, strives for comfort, and excels at customer satisfaction.
The night clerk last night was also available, courteous, and caring.

The staff were very friendly. The place was very clean and smelled cleaned. Good variety for breakfast too. Great location and convenient for us to get where we needed to be at within a matter of minutes. Very pleased with our stay here and will definitely be staying here again.
