Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Kansas City Shawnee

Rooms were very clean with all the standard amenities.

The parking lot is tricky to navigate with a charter bus.

Location is right off I-435 and two exits from the KC Ice Center. Very convenient.

I very much enjoyed my stay here , the staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay felt like as much like home as possible. The hotel and rooms were clean and breakfast (complimentary) was more than we had bargained for. It's also close to many things making it convenient to access whatever we may have needed or wanted .

Great stay, clean room and friendly staff, and loved the grab and go continental breakfast! Hotel was nice and quiet! You do have to request to have room refreshed which i did not realize, but other than that it was a great stay.

Loved my stay at this hotel. I was in town for NASCAR and absolutely loved this hotel. There is a pool although I didn't use it. They had an absolutely fantastic complimentary breakfast in the morning! Biscuits and sausage gravy, Belgium waffles, bagels and cream cheese, double chocolate muffins, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice, chocolate milk, milk. I ate every morning knowing that we're going out to breakfast anyways couldn't pass it up. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly as well. Everything worked out amazing would definitely go back again!

Great Stay. Very clean and modern. Great lobby area for eating and drinking, pool, gym, and great staff.

A few things can be overlooked and still give 5 stars because first after a long rough day and a call to guest services, the employee knew me by name and was expecting me when I walked in the door.....and the shower, dual head shower one fixed the other detachable. Every shower should have this feature but few do. Iron was missing but cleaning attendant gave me one with no hassle. Three days later my deposit still isn't on my card, hairdryer was great. Would love to have traded mine in.....lol, but I didn't!

Very nice young men working at the front desk. As an African American man I was proud of the young men who checked me in and out. Very professional and courteous. I will stay here again when I am in town on business.

I travel to Kansas City about every weekend for soccer and this is NOT a 1 star hotel!!! The staff is absolutely amazing and the hotel is very clean!!! The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and our room was beyond clean when we arrived! We will definitely stay here again!!!

Great staff! The girls up front were especially kind and patient as my card was locked up from travel. After finally getting to my room, it was the perfect temperature, clean, and the bed was definitely manufactured in heaven!!! As you see, clean and delicious breakfast. There are vegan/vegetarian options which was great for me as many hotels don’t offer alternatives to animal products. Will stay here again if given the opportunity!

Really this was one of the most pleasant hotels I've stayed in. Very cordial & helpful staff. It is just a year old as of March 2022, so walls, furniture, etc. are quite clean & in good shape. I wish breakfast included fresh fruit, but we figured they weren't present due to pandemic restrictions.

While during our stay, there were baseball teams staying in the Hotel. On multiple occasions these kids were running up and down the halls not being supervised. The parents were drinking and letting the kids run.
Thank goodness the Hotel has a policy in place about no running. The staff had asked the kids to stop running and still no parents to correct this problem when these kids are running out of control. Not to mention how unsafe it is. We witnessed the parents of these kids giving the staff a very hard time. Rude if you ask me.
I just want Marriott properties to know they have a great Management and Staff. The Hotel was very clean and we will be back.

Room & customer service were exceptional. The guy that makes breakfast even put it out a little early cause he knew I had to be at work at 6, very very cool of him.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on a work trip and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. Breakfast was good and the location was close enough to everything.

Large and spacious King bed with a big TV, the room is so comfortable and full of space. Huge bathroom also. Really clean hotel, from reception to hallways. I really appreciate my time there. 1 min off highway, this hotel was a perfect place for me on my way to Sporting Kansas soccer game. Staff 👍🏾

After a 4hr nightmare with Holiday Inn Express, across the parking lot, that ran us to 3am!!This place was a Godsend! Will never go anywhere else when coming to visit my fam in KC, 12 noon chk out was great since we had a hard night. Bed was sooo amazing. Super clean! LOVED the shower. The young lady at the front was so nice. No hassel chk in. We dident eat bfast, or use the pool, all we wanted was a cold room, warm blanket and a long night sleep in a dark room!

Deann at the front desk was awesome! I had a minor issue with my first room but she was very helpful and friendly moving me to another room and made sure everything was taken care of for me in the other room. Thanks for all of your hospitality!

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I just wish it had a bath tub instead of a shower.

Had a great stay here. Nothing really special to say about it, just a normal, good hotel.

Rates were great. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The bathroom was not crowded like in some hotel rooms we have stayed in
