I’ve decided that the time savings tied to trying shoes and clothes on to find what actually fits is worth the trade offs with online shopping. We went looking for tennis shoes for my daughter and found some nice slip ons in her size and on sale. Great customer service. We will be back as she grows and for any other footwear needs. Glad to see that they carry quality kids shoes.

I chose to go to this location due to being closer to me than the Topeka location. I was greeted by Nick and WOW! He is so knowledgeable and listened to my issues with a pair of shoes that just weren’t working for me. He put several different ones on my feet but we hopefully were able to find the best ones for me!!!! I would definitely recommend this location and this employee for your toughest shoe issues. Thank you Nick for taking time for me! I WILL be returning.

Out of all of the Brown's shoe stores that I've been to (Topeka, Manhattan, Nebraska City), Brown's Shoe Fit in Lawrence is the best. It definitely beats any discount store. The staff provides excellent service - courteous, very knowledgeable, and helpful. The inventory is large and varied - high quality products. Brown's Shoe Fit is everything you won't find at a discount store. I highly recommend shopping here for your shoes.

This is a great place to buy shoes and socks!
The people are always helpful and they also seem to have little bits of information to share that truly make a difference.
(I never knew that there is a proper way to put on sandals that ensures a good fit each time.)
The selection is extensive and the prices are reasonable for good quality footwear.

Always happy with Brown's Shoe Fit Co. Stop by the store late yesterday afternoon looking for some warm winter boots. Salesman's recommendation was the Sorel Caribou boot. Left the house this morning to push snow with the temperature hanging around 20 degrees, spend over 4 hrs. outside working in the snow.
Now, with that all being said my feet are still dry and warm. Highly recommend!

Everytime we are here we find the perfect shoe. The perfect fit, function, and style. This place is great and has knowledgeable sales staff. No pressure no commission sales staff. I hope to frequent this business for years to come, for me and my family.

The shoes here are more expensive but of a high quality. They have a lot of the popular brands for high end comfort shoes and the staff are trained to help fit shoes. This is not a place for cheap trendy shoes though so don't waste your time unless you want something more expensive. The sales can be good and if you go in, make sure to check out the sales rack for deals.

I went here for the first time this afternoon looking for some shoes for student teaching. The man who helped me was so helpful, patient, and gave me great advice! Wonderful first experience. Highly recommend.
