Munchers Bakery

Another staple of Lawrence, after a long night of... studying, head on over to Munchers Bakery for an incredible selection of donuts, pastries, cakes, and cookies. The pecan sandies and orange rolls are among my favorites, but it's really impossible to go wrong, no matter what you get. Open all night and always ready to welcome you in, this is a must visit.

The best donuts and cakes anywhere around in my opinion. Better than Voodoo in Portland!

For years Munchers has been my favorite place to go in town for sweets. Anytime day or night munchers staff are always friendly and the baked goods are always amazing. Snickerdoodle cookies, cake pops, blueberry fritters, and mini cinnamon rolls are some of my favorite items.

As soon as you walk, in this place smells just like you hoped it would, baked goods and love. The people that work there are friendly. The goods you find are spot on, everything you hoped they'd be. Delicious. The strawberry cream cheese donuts are one of my family's favorites! Highly recommend.

They've got a wide array of pastries, cakes, bakery items, fresh and delicious! They serve beverages as well, cheese cakes, brownies, cupcakes, and take special orders.

Went early in the morning, the staff was super friendly, I wasn't sure what I wanted, and they were quick to give me tasty suggestions. Both the baked and fried pastries were perfection. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I will 100% be coming back

This was the most scrumptious donut, long john, and danish I’ve ever had in my life. After taking the first bite, I had a other worldly, transcendental, sensation. The donut was light and airy, pillow-like. The cream cheese gave a surprising punch to the feathery dough, enveloped in a glazed crust, resulting in a mesmerizing mouthfeel. The customer service was outstanding. All in all, these sugary delights are one to die for.

Cheap prices. Open 24/7. Good selection. Quaint atmosphere. The pudding balls and the 35-cent cookies are my favorites.

Wonderful local bakery, nice place to stop and get some if your favorite, they have nice sitting area.

Awesome place to get a quick bite to eat. Customer service is fantastic and the food is great. Mostly baked goods but there a few other items. Coffee was good and the areas and eating spaces were clean and well kept. The place now accepts cards as well!

The best bakery in Lawrence, and one of the best I have ever had. There is not a bad choice. I am partial to the Cinnamon Nut Danish and the Cheese Danish. Would recommend the Strawberry Knot, or the Cream Cheese Donut (regular or strawberry). Love the basic donuts too: chocolate frosted, powdered cake, cinnamon twist, and glazed. The mini cinnamon rolls are excellent as well, both regular and orange varieties. You cannot go wrong here.

It seems to be more and more difficult to find freshly fried doughnuts and similar items in town. Munchers does a great job of creating delicious doughnuts.
I really enjoy the people who work here. Everyone is very nice.
Don't settle for the doughnuts that are made out of town, shipped here frozen and warmed up in the grocery stores. Support local businesses and buy fresh doughnuts from Munchers!

We ordered from Muncher's cupcakes for our wedding reception, and it was an amazing decision. We could pick up the cupcakes the morning of, and they were a huge hit with our guests! We loved supporting a local bakery, and the quality of the cupcakes were wonderful. Muncher's was also great to work with and flexible with our schedule and our preferences for the cupcakes. We'd definitely order from them again!

My first visit here was about two weeks ago. My wife has lived in the area her entire life and we thought they had closed. To our surprise they are still open! I bought one of everything with the exception of full cakes... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We have three little ones and have officially made this the family bakery. I hope they continue to make it for years to come!

2 dozen donuts made for me around 4.28 this morning in about 4 minutes. taste great m . taste real . taste like a donut. great price and coffee offered. will b back

We loved it! I picked up donuts and cookies for my work and they were delicious and not too bad of a price! Around 1.10-2 a donut and .35-2 a cookie depending on size! Super yummy!

It sounds weird, but the cream cheese donuts are AMAZING!!! Best to come in early in the morning when everything is fresh and warm and delicious! Best donuts in town by far!

This is the best place in Lawrence. There's nothing like rocking up at 2am to a cozy bakery full of sweet smells and all the pastries you could dream of craving. Always delicious with a homemade feel. The employees are always bright and kind no matter what time it is. Truly a gem
