Clinton Park

This is a large and excellent quality park. I used to come through here every day on my walk to work and it was an incredibly high quality detour. Nice place!
This park is also right next to the police station and courthouse. So bad guys steer clear.
Though if you are a new ku student and are reading this review; I'd recommend you have friends with you when you stumble drunkenly through this area.

Clean, maintained, easily accessible, lots to explore and 2 off street free parking lots for 6 cars or so each. Facilities are secure, clean, pleasant smelling, bright, stocked, safe, without any defacement, no unwelcome obscenities or questionable characters-at any hour. It has a covered open shelter, small child structure, basketball court, creek, winding path, open green fields of grass that is level and nice. It is not fenced. The best part is the mature trees with lots of shade paired up to the several cozy stone original structures and stair cases from the stone wall that slope down to the quiet space before the creek and the center mound in the grass. Its adjacent to Pinckney elementary School. It is a low traffic area for the most part with one street with a cross walk to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. It is within walking distance to downtown. Woody Park (baseball field with a small structure adjacent) within 3 blocks to the Northwest, Watson (outdoor aquatic center and train park) within 6 blocks to the Southeast, Burcham Park (KU row team boat house and Kansas River trail) within 6 blocks to the Northeast,

Wonderful place for a walk. 100% recommend it. One of the best places in Lawrence. You can't miss the gazebo that overlooks the lake and then there is the long pathed walkway for the dogs. Just go!! Pick up after dogs please and don't litter!!

Had our neighborhood brunch there. Nice picnic area and great playground for children. Beautiful little park.

Really well kept park. Great shelter that can be reserved. Playground. Large open areas for picnics and play. Scenic area for photographers. In a nice quiet neighborhood.

I absolutely love spending time at this park. So beautiful & relaxing to just sit and take in the scenery. Plus the play yard is pretty fun as well!!

I have been going to this park pretty much my whole life. My grandparents live close by and it has always been a favorite. I love the stone stairway area.

Nice outdoor space. Playground and some bball hoops. Large covered bbq area. Great pokemon spawns and raids also.

This park is in walking distance to us. And close to the school. Smaller park so easier to watch all the kids at the same time.

The best Park within the city limits of Lawrence. Not as peaceful as Veteran's Park, but great views and plenty to entertain the kids.

Wonderful place for a picnic or if you just want to walk around.

I like the park because it is wide open so I can see kids from the picnic bench.
