Hyatt Place Kansas City/Lenexa City Center

Nice rooms, very clean and modern. It's in a great location with a lot of good food options within walking distance. Surprisingly quiet even though it's right off the freeway. I had a great experience and ended up coming back a month later for a 2nd work trip. Would definitely recommend!

Always clean. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. You can text the hotel staff 24/7. Nice views from the high floors. The free breakfast is great. Starting at 630am you have your choice of the self serve breakfast bar. Eggs, bacon, sausages, home fries, fresh whole fruits, fresh cut fruits, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, granola, coffee, OJ, Apple juice, beads and jams. For lunches and dinners they offer a small restaurant and also have pre made, packaged food to go.

Great place to stay for business or leisure. I travel to Lenexa for business twice a month and always stay here. It's clean, convenient and in a great location. I stay here for 2 weeks each month since September of 2023. I recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Place Kansas City Lenexa, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish.

From the moment I walked through the doors, it was evident that this hotel adheres to the esteemed Hyatt standard of excellence. The comfort and cleanliness were immediately apparent, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out, though, was the warmth and helpfulness of the staff. Their genuine friendliness made me feel right at home, and it was evident that they were committed to ensuring every guest had a memorable stay.

One of the highlights of my time at the Hyatt Place Kansas City Lenexa was the impressive variety offered at their continental breakfast. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory, healthy or indulgent, there's something to satisfy every palate. It was a great way to kickstart each day of my stay.

Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the hotel was. Despite its convenient location, I never once felt disturbed by outside noise, allowing for a truly restful night's sleep. And speaking of sleep, the bed in my room was nothing short of heavenly. Clean, cozy, and oh-so-comfortable, it was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

Additionally, I appreciated the designated workspace in my room. As someone who often needs to catch up on work while traveling, having a comfortable area to do so was a major plus.

Overall, my experience at the Hyatt Place Kansas City Lenexa exceeded all expectations. It's clear that this hotel is committed to providing guests with a top-notch experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Room was adequate for our needs. Very nicely decorated. Could use towel bars in the bathroom instead of more artwork.

I bartended a few events at this location. Very well maintained hotel, clean, people are friendly. The events are well executed. Would definitely return if requested for future events.

We ended up at this hotel by chance booking on a website that randomly assigns hotels. It was FANTASTIC. The staff is exceptional. Rooms are clean, amenities are great. I didn’t hear any sounds from other guests the entire 4 day stay, while we were in our room. The breakfast had gluten and dairy free options, with oat milk along with the dairy milk. Nice touches to not make having dietary restrictions such a hassle when travelling. Everything was fresh, hot. I would recommend this to anyone in the area.

Great, new hotel in a super awesome location. Walkable to multiple restaurants and the staff and breakfast were amazing. Delicious bbq next door!

I stayed here on my recent trip to Kansas City and Ron and his team were incredible! They were so helpful and provided exceptional customer service. The hotel was clean and welcoming, will definitely be staying here again.

I always travel with my own disinfectant and paper towels. This is one of the few hotels where I've never needed it. The place is always completely clean, as if we were the very first people to ever stay. The staff is very friendly, though they have twice messed up extra linen requests. The rates are reasonable. The bed jiggles too much when Hubby rolls over, but otherwise it's comfy. The walls are a bit thin, so it gets noisy when the place is full of families and loud, running kids. But everything else is so good that the infrequent noise is certainly not a deal-breaker. And when Jack Stack BBQ built next door, this hotel became top-notch on our list of places we highly recommend. Hyatt Place Lenexa is definitely our home away from home.

Stayed here several times. Breakfast is great with savory items being above most hotel breakfasts. Especially crispy potatos! Fruit is really fresh every time. Friendly service. Nice and clean!

On a cross country trip with our dog, we stayed here twice. Having our dog, we stayed in accessible rooms with walk in showers both times. Best thought out shower I’ve ever used. Rooms were clean and spacious. We had a king + couch and it was extremely comfortable for us and our dog. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. An added perk was going to the Shawnee Mission off leash dog park each morning before we got on the road.

Really great rooms! Stayed at a room with a view, and the room itself was spotless and had nice storage\closet space to hang my clothes! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Hands down had the BEST complimentary breakfast I've ever had as well! Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is right off the interstate so very convenient to many locations around KC. The rooms are modern and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is also ample parking, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance. Overall a great stay.

I know the hotel business is not easy. I speak from experience travelling the world. Overall, the customer service in the US is so low so low that's it's shameful to have this in a so called 'developed' country.

This hotel however stood out. I'm a Globalist but have been treated with absolute disrespect and been spoken to just plain rudely and in many instances condescending way so in the US, my expectations are super super super low.

This was a pit stop for us for the night on our way from Denver to Chicago (yeah, we took the long route as I had to have the Kansas City bbq). It was over the 4th of July weekend and the weather from Denver itself was bad.

My wife was not feeling the best and I knew this will be a loooooong drive as compared to any other day. I had booked a non refundable rate but still reached out to the hotel (didn't share anything about my status) and asked if there was any possibility to reschedule it for the next day should my wife not feel better. I forget the name of the person I spoke to since it's been 3 weeks now (shame on me) but she was one of the nicest person I've spoken to at a Hyatt Place in the United States. She went above and beyond and said they would be able to accommodate my request. I ended the call saying I will give my wife 2 hours to see how she feels before I make the decision and will reach out. She said she's there till 3 so that will not be a problem.

I was now debating if I should drive in the weather (hailing, then rain, then hail again then sunshine then rain again). My wife started feeling better so we decided to leave.

This person at the hotel proactively reached out to me at 2:45 to confirm and said if she doesn't hear back, they will assume I am coming but if not, I should call and let them know because that reschedule option is still on the table.

This is customer service; really caring about your customer in a situation that the customer is trying to make the best of and the staff is trying to make that one thing less difficult for you.

On our way, I knew we ain't making it before 2 am (time zone change plus the rains) so I called and spoke to the staff and they assured me that won't be a problem at all.

We arrived and our keys were ready. I had already done an online check in so it was a breeze.

The room as other reviews have said was immaculate. It was one of the cleanest Hyatt Place's I have stayed at in the US.

I wish all the Hyatt Places would have this level of service and cleanliness. Each year, we do this trip from Denver to Chicago and this is the Hyatt Place we'll always be staying at.

Staff was great. We were here for a soccer tournament. They didn't have much on the breakfast. But they did have hot burritos which were so good. Fresh fruit and coffee juice and water. Enjoyed The pool, gym and laundry. The only thing I would change is microwave in the room but they have a community one. overall it was a great experience.

They have very friendly front desk staff!! Every time I interacted with they, they were so nice and it made the experience that much better. They were nicest front desk people i have ever dealt with at a hotel.

They sell beer there but is not really a bar in my opinion. So if like to hang out at hotel bars and plan to stay here bc they list a bar, just know it is not what you would expect at all

This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious, well designed, and had a great amount of natural light. We stayed in a high floor room and it was great. The breakfast was awsome as well. We will for sure stay here again.
