Hickory Campground

This was a great place to pull in for the evening. All of the surrounding RV parks wanted 45 to 55 dollars to park a van with no hooks up. This campground was peaceful, really pretty view full moon views of the lake, deer playing around in the morning and it felt safe for a solo female.

Campgrounds are clean & well cared for! Felt safe as attendants & park rangers came through frequently were always willing to answer questions.

Nice quiet place! Bring bugs spray, hat, flashlight it's pretty dark. You can make a fire, there's picnic table

Very nice large campground. There is actually a couple campgrounds at this lake. Some sites have both electricity and water. Some just have electricity and some are dry camping. Sites are level both front to back and side to side.

Well maintained. Good place to bring children. Has a great dump station where four people can dump at the same time. That is if people are smart enough to pull forward all the way, which by the picture you can see doesn't always happen.

I love camping at Lake Clinton. The campsites have excellent views of the lake and are very close to the beach. You'll love how clean they keep the bathroom and the picnic areas. I am always very impressed with how well maintained the entire grounds are at this lake. The staff need a raise because they are doing an excellent job. The playgrounds are nice and well kept. The campsites are clean and have easy access to the showers and bathroom. The sites themselves give you ample room between you and the next camper. I would recommend these campsites to anyone planning to hit the nature trails and Bloomington Beach.

Nice, quiet, not a party camp ground. Families and kids. After 9:30 or so there wasn't anyone stirring or drinking around the campfire, like I was. Relaxing. Walking distance to the swim beach.

Great camp sites, plenty with soft grass covered ground for tent camping. Handful of spots open up to the lake which made for a nice sunset as the evening wore down. Also several spots had picnic tables and they all had their own firepit. Lots of deer in the campground area so you really get a close to nature feel, yet you could have plenty of neighbors to feel safe. Cant wait to go back.

We stopped for a quick overnight stay in our 25 ft class C. The park is large and we'll maintained. Our site was braid, level, and gravel with electric service, but no water. Potable water and a dump station are available. We look forward to coming back staying longer.

Great place to camp! Its huge lots of options. Not many people there during the week too. Nice bathrooms, good showers. Just no soap. Only $12 for a primitive site.

Nice place to camp they swimming beach and nice size shower house with private shower stools and serial different rest room building.

Great campground but electrical is super outdated. Everyday a circuit blows and power cuts off for an hour or 2.

Nice campgrounds. Part is still under water. Boat ramps still not usable.

Love the camp grounds friendly atmosphere great lake my favorite place to go camping in Lawrence ks.
