Wilson Park

Great place to take the family. Lots of new edge playground equipment combined with a bit of railway history and the icing on the cake is the outdoor concert hall. Very clean and great atmosphere for the kiddos. They old locomotive is a great piece of history that the kids love to explore and to marvel. Great pace to visit@@@

I grew up playing in this park. Countless hours on the swings and playing on the train that's there in the front. My children had as much fun as I did when I took them there to check it out! The park hasn't changed too much since I was a child there in the mid 70's.

Cool park, has train on it that can be played on. A book box for people. Holds the farmers market on Tuesdays during the season. Has concerts and movies pretty regular. A nice comfortable place

We stopped at the old swinging bridge and this train was over by it. My daughter loved ringing the bell and playing on the train!

Kansas has so many parks! NC should take notice. We loved visiting all the parks my hubby grew up at. Wilson park was a blast for our kiddos. Thank you for caring about your youth and for giving them so many places to be active and play ☺

A Nice Park, Mainly Came Cause it was a Displayed Engine known as AT&SF 2542 Former Kansas City Mexico and Orient Railway No.208 Which is on Display in the Park

Very fun park for all ages I have a two year old he really liked the swings that had an adult swing attached so I could swing with him. He also loved the train.

My great grandsons love this park. I was sad to see the maintenance was not up to par, the grounds at the swings and slides was so worn down that the puddles were over the boys ankles. The flower beds were bare and unkempt. Hope to see improvements in this wonderful public space.

Always enjoyed going to that Park you can order pizza and have it in the park or you can order barbecue over at big and smalls and sit in the park and enjoy barbecue. It's just right across the street. Great place to meet friends and socialize or walk the dog.

This park has been a staple in Arkansas City for decades. It has been newly renovated. It has duel swings for baby and adult to sit in at the same time. It also has many learning interactive toys as well.
This park is the "main" park of the city. Many town events are held here threw out the year. This is such a neat park that it's not just for the young. Anyone who comes will find something to enjoy.
So get out and see Wilson Park. Just down the way, about a block or two, is a braums. Who doesn't like the sound of park and ice cream?

Love this Park for the kids has many levels of equipment.

Very kid-friendly park. Recently renovated and repainted locomotive for them to climb on. Good location across the street from Braum's and multiple picnic tables. Also playground, open spaces, large covered area and clean bathrooms.

This place has just gotten better and better over the years. It is well maintained and a great place to take your children. They also host the farmers markets and concerts sometimes. I have heard of a new water feature possibly being added in the near future but we will see.
